Opening Day! [Hyde and others!] | Edogawa Sushi - Day 1 |

Today is the big day huh...? I'm changing into my cooking clothes in the Resturants locker room. Today is the opening day for my dad's sushi resturant. I'm gonna help out my dad in the kitchen. The clock is currently 3:10 PM, and we're opening up at 3:30 PM. We're currently waiting for Hyde to show up. This is a big day for my dad and I don't want to dissapoint him. //Now where's Hyde? He knows it's opening day today. I better call him!// I pick up the phone and call Hyde: "Hey! Hyde! Where are you? It's opening day today remember? The shop opens up in 20 minutes, and My dad is getting worried."

Hyde walk inside the establishment with his waiter attire, he looks over to Kei with a confident look on his face. “I’m here; I didn’t run away or anything. I was actually having some trouble putting on this apron. Eventually, I decided to tie it from the front and swing it over. “ Hyde walks into the store and into the back kitchen as he waited to be called upon. This was his first day of work, which meant that he had to do everything he can to make a good impression. Hyde was going to do his best to be professional; he couldn’t embarrass Kei and his father for giving him a chance to work here. “Ok, be calm. Stay cool, deep breath..” Hyde would say to himself as he kept a neutral look to himself. “Ok, I’m ready. “

"Phew! You're here! My dad and I are waiting for you in the kitchen." I hang up, and my dad gives me a look. "He's here. You don't have to worry." My dad nods. After a couple of minutes, Hyde enters the kitchen too. "Good, we're all here. Hyde!" My dad looks at Hyde. "You ready for this, kid?" I give Hyde a smile before saying: "You're gonna be just fine. As long as you keep your cool and stay polite, and remember the Guests orders. No pressure or anything buddy!" Hyde can handle this... I think. It's not like I've seen him work or anything, but he should do just fine. If nothing else, it's his first day, so I could help him out should he need me to. "If things get a bit too much for you to handle, I'll help ya out. We're a bit short on staff, so I have to take multiple jobs at once anyways."

The reassuring smile from Kei and his father was heartwarming; it gave Hyde a lot of courage for the incoming tasks. “That’s ok Kei, I’m sure that you would be having your hands full. The least I can do is the best that I can, and make sure that I don’t disappoint you guys. “There’s no apparent reason for Hyde to discourage himself any further, he knew he had the capabilities to perform up to par. “…..” Hyde checks the small watch on his left wrist and looks at the time; the restaurant was just about to open. “Alright, it’s almost ShowTime. It’s time to show these people what high quality sushi tastes like.” Hyde would say this with a confident attitude.
