Appearance: Kei is about average length, with short, spiky red hair. His face is square shaped, with a tiny nose. Eyes are dark brown, and his skin tone a little bleak. He's very athletic, being a prior member of the Gekkoukan High School Kendo Club. His Clothing isn't anything remarkable. Aside from the School Uniform, he likes to wear red and white clothes, as those are his two favorite colors. His hands show tiny scars from numerous accidents with the sushi knife while he was still a beginner.

Personality: Kei is quite a happy and upstanding lad, who wants to surpass his father at making delicious sushi. This is shown through his willpower, enthusiasm and diligence when working, however this can become a bit of a problem for him as he often takes bites out of tasks bigger than he can chew. Luckily, he has quite a nack for making friends with others. He is however troubled about his parents recent divorce, and with a change of surroundings happening so recently, he hasn't completely recovered from it, as he thinks it's largely his fault for the divorce.

The Background

History: Edogawa Kei was born the 6th of July 1997, in Iwatodai, Port Island. As a young boy, Kei was taught by his father the art of Sushi making, as he comes from a long line of Sushi Chefs, and it was per family tradition that one should pass on ones skills to the next of kin. As such, Kei was led down the path of Sushi making. It was not an easy task for a young Kei to tread down, as the world of Chef knives and stress is hardly one for a child. Fortunatley, his father was always there to guide him every step of the way, and still is to a degree. Coming from a family with Sushi Chefs, the early school life wasn't easy, as he was picked on, and called names like "Fishygawa" and such horrible fish-based puns on his name. However, instead of getting down over this, he simply dealt with it hoping "That they soon would understand", which they did, after maturing a bit.

Then there was the incident. A few years ago, his mother was struck by "Apathy Syndrome", which made the life a lot harder for the Edogawas, since Kei's dad's Sushi making was the family's only source of income. This is most likely the cause for the divorce that happened a few months back.

Kei then attended at Gekkoukan High School, where he used to be an avid member of the school's Kendo Club, and attended at the Youths National Championships with Kazushi Miyamoto as his Coach. However, his true passion lies within the art of Sushi making, and wishes to one day become good enough of a chef so he can open up his own Resturant at some point. Kei always takes his studies seriously, but has a tendency of slipping up due to panic on tests. Kei and his father were forced to move for reasons not known by Kei himself, shortly after the divorce of his parents. Nowadays he helps out his father at their newly opened luxurious Sushi Resturant.

This basically looks good, however it would be better if you could add more to apperance, personality and history to flesh the character out more. I believe it even says on the template that history should be at least 2 - 3 paragraphs. You don't have to write novels, but at least some more in each of these would be good.

And the after school club. In this current setting, there isn't an actual Kendo club. You could check the clubs list in the Zela Academy section to see which are available now. The link on the template is still for the old ones >.>

Thanks, I wasn't aware that the centre of clubs changed. I'll try to Add more to history and Appearance later on today. For now (At the time of posting this.) I don't have time.
