Mission: Rooftop Trouble

There had been a posting in the velvet room about a shadow making itself a nice home on the roof of the school. Daiki wasn’t sure exactly sure who was going to come, if anyone. The school was closed down, but he had to end this madness sooner or later. If he took out the weak ones first, he could get in a little practice and lessen the problem slowly. This was all he could do to save his home. He actually laughed to himself. Since when had he been so serious? Whatever the answer was, had to get to the roof and wait for his enemy to show up. He went up to the roof, waiting for no one to show up to help him, but hoping somebody would. If anyone questioned why he was there, his answer would be simple: he was too oblivious to know better. Almost anyone that knew him could agree to that.

Gabby couldn’t believe she was coming back to this place. The school had been closed for so long now that she doubted anyone would be here to stop her. That made getting to the roof a little bit easier. She even wore gloves and a hoodie in case anyone saw her. They wouldn’t be able to see her face, and she wouldn’t leave any prints. She had learned her lesson from some of her ex-companions mistakes. As she stepped onto the roof, she could see someone already standing there. She didn’t recognize his face at first, but when she did, she groaned. She had met this guy once before. Either he was here to fight too, or he was an idiot. Most likely the latter. She couldn’t be too concerned about his being there, however, this thing was bound to show up soon. Shadows were becoming a problem and they couldn’t resist a good meal. She watched out for the enemy carefully, making sure it couldn’t get the jump on her.
