| Alfred was bored as hell. His friends had all ditched him, he was unable to read the language here besides the odd word or two that they seemed to love to throw in to everything. He didn't even know where he was half the time and the were almost zero taxis, nevermind any that could speak in actual English! He was stuck and he had only himself to blame. Still he was infallible. The American wandered about, quietly frustrated with himself and yet blaming the world around him. The plugs around here didn't accept his chargers so he didn't have anyway of contacting his dad to let him get home. He didn't have any money to do the same to the pay phones here. Seriously, pay phones? What was this, the 200s instead of the 2000s? No body spoke English either so he couldn't ask to borrow a phone anyway. He was trapped
Now he was in a quiet little part of the region and he hated it. Alfred was a man of action, not of wandering around like a little boy looking for his mommy! He wanted to be where the action was- no he needed it! It was part of him like his hair or his jacket! Depriving him of any of those parts of him might as well be a sin. But he was party less and agitated with the world. It didn't matter right now if a cute girl walked up to him with perfect English, he was going to be agitated. "Man this fucking sucks..." he muttered to himself before sighing, shaking his head and sitting down to rest on a nearby bench. Japan was just so different from America and he hated it.

| Stirling was walking back to the bus stop to catch his bus home after doing some grocery shopping for his Aunt and Uncle and the delivering it to them. He then missed the bus after getting a little girl's cat down from a tree, and sat down on a bench passing no heed of the world around him until the person next to him spoke with a sigh "Man this fucking sucks..." he mumbled. "だからあなたのアメリカ (Dakara anata no Amerika)..." he stopped talking and cleared his throat realising he was speaking in Japanese "....sorry......so your from America huh?......" he recognised the accent being American himself. | |

| In utter silence, Kira entered the small shack besides the river, inspecting it.
For the whole morning he had been going coming and going through all of Hayabusa, memorizing its layout and searching for places such as this. So far, he had found 15, but none of them convinced them. This shack, for example, was too near a police station, even if the great inclination of the ground made it unlikely that anybody came around here.
"No, this will just not do.", he said for himself as he turned back and started climbing his way back. To be honest, all this walking was starting to tire him. Guess the years didn't pass in vain. Leaning on his cane more heavily than usual, he searched for a place to sit and catch his breath, being this coincidentally a bus stop where two foreigner boys were talking. Being the classy gentleman he was, Kira opted not to get on their conversation and do as if he didn't realize their existence, lest he disturbed them...
... Nonetheless, he kept his ears open while he feigned diverting his attention towards something else. He liked knowing, understanding the people around him. The people of Hayabusa, his people, his neighbors, his friends and, occasionally, his prey.

| And just as he thought things couldn't get any worse, here was the fucking Calvary. Seriously, could no one just mind their own damned business? Still, it was nice to talk to someone who could actually speak his language. Fucking foreigners.
He didn't let his agitation show too much to talking to a chink. He put on his biggest and best smile and nodded. "Yeah, I came here on... vacation." As close to the truth as he dared. "Still, this place is amazing! I mean, it's so different from America that there's almost no comparison. It's almost like living in another world here!" Maybe that would satisfy the fucking brat's curiosity. And what was with the old man? Didn't he hear them talking? Maybe at that age, all old chinks loose their hearing. That's what Alfred thought anyway.

| OOC: doesn't look Japanese he looks American
Stirling couldn't really tell if the guy was being serious or just trying him to go away because he wasn't wanting to talk and quite frankly all he was doing was trying to pass the time as he waited for the bus "....Look pal if you want to piss off just say.....I'm used to it..." He told him looking at him with his natural facial expression which looked cold hearted and fierce so much that people labeled him as a delinquent before even getting to know him "...But before I do just do me a favour will yea?.....tell me has any thing changed in the states it has been a good few years since I was home...."

| 'Hmmm...'
English. How come he hadn't expected it from just seeing these people's faces?, Fortunately, he had a moderately good understanding of the language, but, to be honest, he hardly could stand foreigners. The vast majority of those white devils were noisy, loud, obnoxious and dirtied every place they set foot on spitting and littering as if there was no tomorrow. Those damn foreigners just got in Kira's nerves, intruding anywhere and everywhere, even in his quiet life.
Anyways, it seemed like what appeared to have started as a normal, everyday exchange was quickly going south and it was no wonder why. People in America were about as perceptive as a drunk camel, but here in Japan people could tell your thoughts from observing your body language and this little punk reeked of butter, McDonald's and aggressiveness.
For now, Kira just remained in silence like before, simply looking forward as he pretended to be waiting for the bus, but, unlike Alfred, he wasn't masking his disgust at all as he gripped his cane tightly. These days white devils were a plague he wished he could stomp all over of.

| Stirling sighed as he watched his bus drive up and stop at the bus stop...he really thought he might have been able to hear some new about his dad's company, deciding it was pointless to actually say good bye seeing how the guy would most likely flip him off. Stirling got on the bus without saying a word to those around him, though he noticed a man a distance from him watching him and the other foreign kid as if they were kind of scum, but of coarse he was used to that by now so passed it off as nothing. He got on the bus, paid the fare, sat down and fell asleep on the way back to his apartment.
OOC: Stirling Costello has left the topic.

| Alfred sighed and watched the guy go. Fine. Be that way. See if he cared. That would just leave him and the old geezer for whatever he wanted. It wasn't like America had changed much. A new president, people malcontent with him and life continues on as normal. The man sighed. Who was he to care about it? Didn't Japan have Internet? Why didn't he look it up his damned self?
Ah, and speaking of the geezer, it seemed like he was disgusted with him too. Well good. At least they knew each other for what they were: enemies. Not 'friends' or 'rivals' or whatever bullshit the old liked to call the young. Enemies was as friendly as the American was likely to get with anyone coming from Japan, or anywhere else. They were all just enemies to get in his way of being at the top.

| Ah, one of the boys, the one that seemed to at the very least know the Japanese customs (was he a resident here in Japan?, It seemed likely) left, leaving him with the foreigner.
Normally, at this point any interest that Kira might have had on the situation or the people involved on it would have dissappeared, specially considering how he still had to find a safe hideout for his more socially unapproved activities & interests, but, considering how this person was a lone foreigner lost in the middle of an unknown place, probably uncapable of speaking Japanese and that there was no one around to witness any of the stuff that could happen to him, Kira might still have an use for him. That was, as a test subject.
The only good thing about foreigners was that they were extremely hard to trace if they disappeared (easiest prey without a doubt). More than once his "lovers" were tourists coming from places all over the world and they just might be once again... Good thing for him that Kira was not interested in either children or males.
No, what Kira wanted to test was a certain capacity of his, an ability that came with being a murderer by nature. The ability to intimidate others through the use of his 'killing intent'.
For those unknowing of what this 'killing intent' is, the concept is best defined as an aura of aggression that in some cases can be felt as a slight pressure or chill, even to people unaware of the person emiting it. The effect is said to be amplified if you look into the person's eyes, or if they want to hurt you in particular. Trained warriors were said to radiate low levels of 'killing Intent' at all times, however, someone like Kira used to be able to display enormous ammounts of it, ability he used to freeze his victims on the spot before erasing them, should it be neccessary.
However, his stay on the hospital had prevented him from taking any lives in a whole year and Kira feared that he might have lost his touch. Therefore, some testing was required.
Deeply breathing in and out a feww times, Kira slowly undid the locks that kept his murderous presence undetected, releasing a wave of pure hatred seasoned with some evil which he proceeded to focus on the boy, turning his head to look at his eyes.
"Nice weather we are having, right?", he said, also offering him his trademark goody two-shoes smile to avoid him being overly suspicious. A nearby pidgeon dropped dead on the boy's lap, its blood having litterally frozen. 'Perhaps I overdid it', thought Kira as his eyes shifted to the bird in surprise.
