Exploring the City

Naito entered the City through the glowing crimson door. Once entering Limbo, he rubbed the back of his head with a rather perplexed expression. To think such a world existed and no one in the real world knew of it. Well, that wasn't entirely true. If what Justine said was the truth, that meant someone else did know about Limbo. Someone created it, and thus was the cause behind the disappearances in Ueitawa. Naito could only suspect those that went missing had confronted their shadow and was devoured. Something that would have happened to him if he was left alone with the other Naito aswell. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he'd straighten his school uniform. "Well this is Limbo, hmm? An impressive creation, though lacking some substance." Naito would extend his hand out, and a scabbard with a blade, would seemingly appear within his grasp in a bright light. Holding the scabbard with his right hand, he'd look at his weapon of choice. It was actually perfect. This Persona of his knew exactly what he wished to use. "Not bad, Jinmu-tennō! You gave me alot of trouble before, but I have a feeling we'll be sworn friends by the end of this. As long as we work together! After all, you are a part of me. With that said, I suspect nothing but the best from you." Naito would smirk to himself as he spoke to his Persona within. With Jinmu-tennō, he was never alone. The feeling of security was exhilarating.

Looking towards the long street before him, the one named Naito would begin his journey into Limbo. This would only be a short expedition to get his feet wet. Travelling too far would probably put him in a situation where he'd be in serious trouble. So instead, he'd stay near the exit and scope the landscape around him. It was strange how there was no real people, however it looked like the city was bustling with activity. Was it possible that the one behind this foul creation was attempting to recreate the world in their own image. If that was the case, their image was severely screwed and distorted. If Naito had such power, he'd create a single empire where all the masses lived together, under on rule. This rule being his own of course. The calm faced boy would tilt his head to the side as he'd begin to walk a few feet away from the door itself. "So if anyone's out here, show yourself! I'm here to show you your new leader! The one who will be dominating you!" Bold statements from a bold person!

The first newcomer to enter Limbo was a bold one to come alone. However, since he remained near the exit, and not further within the dangerous land, he'd be relatively safe from any strong shadows. The windows of the buildings surrounding the one named Naito would begin to shift and deform, as a black substance began to ooze down from them like tar. Upon the ground below Naito, a message would be etched in the soil, saying a simple "LEAVE", as i someone was trying to pass a message to him.

Either way, these tar like substances began to take form around the silver haired persona user. At first they appeared as pools of darkness, but suddenly limbs and a body would be formed. Finally the final appearance of these three tar shaped monstrosities would appear to be decaying corpses carrying what appeared to be a burning chunk of Earth upon their back. They seemed incapable of speaking, and were instead there to do nothing more than devour the Persona User that had entered Limbo. Slowly dragging their way towards him, they'd leave a trail of black tar in their wake. These Shadows were relatively weak and attacked in numbers... However even then, they weren't to be under estimated.


One shadow would initiate combat by slamming the massive burning rock upon their back to the ground. This would cause the burning rock to unleash a small blaze out directly to the one named Naito standing several feet before him. Though nothing extremely strong, it'd look to make him well done where he stood. But like said before, the Shadow was weaker. The attack would be easy to dodge, or clash with...

Naito watched the tar like substance leak down from the windows of the buildings with his usual calm expression. Holding onto his scabbard with a solid grip, he'd press his thumb against the hilt of his blade to unsheath it. "So these things inhabit Limbo, huh? Interesting. They're not even human... I guess that means they get no sympathy from me." The silver haired student would be smiling within, as he always wished to test his Iaido techniques in a serious setting. Tournaments and spars were nothing compared to him. He wished to fight the strongest opponents, and these shadows were most likely his best chance at a serious fight. As they took form, and one of them fired a small blast of fire towards him, he'd simply side step out the way of the linear flame. "Alright then. I guess it's time we tried this." Extending his hand, Naito would focus on the image of his Persona. Before him, a glowing card would present itself that appeared to be his own tarot card. Unsheathing his blade, he'd slash through the card and cause it to shatter. "Jinmu-tennō!" Once this occurred, a blue mist would explode from his body, and the form of the first Emperor, Jinmu-tennō, would erupt onto the battlefield. Spinning his blade, the massive Persona would stab into the ground and cause moderate powered bursts of lightning to spray out towards all his enemies. Naito would sheath his blade after the attack ended and his Persona subsided into his subconscious.

Once his Persona was done with its attack, Naito would charge off for his own. Keeping his blade in hand, he'd head straight for Shadow #3 and begin his assault. Using his rapid succession ability, and his own Iaido knowledge, he'd unless a series of four slashes upon the shadow, hitting its legs first, and then slashing upwards through its chest and into its head in an attempt to finish it off. Once finishing his attack, he'd jump back and sheath his blade for the next assault.

Naito Strengths:

Belch! Shadow # 3 would return to its tar like substance after Naito's attacks had landed. With one enemy down, it left only two remaining, who were both hit by the moderate blast of lightning. With just two enemies remaining, both Shadows would show more vigor than their previous group mate. Slamming the chunks of molten rock into the earth below them, to small blasts of fire would spawn beneath the one named Naito and fire upward much faster than the previous first attack. Once the attack was complete, the Shadows would place the burning pieces of earth back upon their back, burning into their flesh. They showed no signs of pain when regarding such things, however.

The world of Limbo would begin to shift and turn at this point, as the skies turned blood red and the buildings around the one named Naito began to bleed trails of blood. The soil beneath the Shadows feet began to etch another phrase, this time spelling out: "KILL HIM" Obviously someone didn't want the Kizuna Student there.

The follow up attack would catch Naito off guard, causing him to stumble back after taking some damage. Shaking his head, he'd keep a firm grip on his scabbard. "Not bad, but I won't lose." The silver haired student would extend his hand outwards where his tarot card would once again form. Grasping it in a firm grip, the card would shatter and cause the blue mist to erupt from his body once again. "We have no equals! Stupid tar freaks." "Jinmu-tennō!" would erupt the the mist with his blade in hand once again. Pointing it towards the heavens, a moderate burst of lightning would tear through the area aimed directly towards the twin shadows. Once performing its attack, the Persona would fade away, leaving Naito standing there. The change in atmosphere was beginning to freak him out, so instead of sticking around to see if something else was going to pop up, he would instead sprint towards the crimson door and exit this strange world called Limbo. Venturing too deep within the world alone would be rather dangerous, so he'd need to train abit more to build up the strength for it.

With the final attack the tar freaks would join their previous group member. With the Naito gone, the world of Limbo would begin to shift and realign, so the next time he entered, it would look completely different than before.
