An Expensive Taste [Open to one]

"I'd like the special today. The  15 Years Aged Golden Melon Ripe Pu-erh Tea."

For a man that wasn't much of a coffee drinker outside of deadlines, he sure as heck got his caffeine in other ways. The tea that Tommy ordered was known for its peculiar taste and high caffeine content. It meant that it was a tea that could still be enjoyed without adding anything else, and did the same kind of job that a single expresso could.

"That'll be 10 dollars."

But with some luxury, it came as a cost. Well, as does everything else.  Some would say that 10 dollars a cup are high way robbery.  Either way, people still come here to buy and eat. It was a sense of status, and even if you couldn't afford it, people would still fake it until they could. Nobody cared bout the practicality of it, they only cared about the perception.

"Alright..."

After buying the tea and waiting patiently at the booth, Tommy did a few people watching. He was mostly looking at those who came in and out of the store.
