Appearance: With her large fuchsia eyes and upturned nose, Helvetica has given and still gives off a certain youthful vitality that turns heads at best and makes her seem very nonthreatening at worse. Pastel green bangs frame a delicate, angular face, a faint grin often playing across her lips that exudes a sort of easygoing energy.

With her lithe, rather androgynous body type, Helvetica doesn't cut an imposing figure, instead standing at only 170 centimetres. However, she carries herself with a sort of spry, easy grace, almost as if she's gliding over the ground - such is the fluidity of her movement.

Helvetica is seldom observed without an orange, well-worn bomber jacket, which bears yellow markings reminiscent of the rescue and firefighting forces of the distant past. It's worn over a form-fitting black undershirt and cargo pants, stylish buckled boots, straps and satchels (containing whatever she might need at the moment) as well as gloves that complete her wardrobe.

Stage Appearance/Mugic Created outfit: A radical departure from her ordinary clothing, Helvetica's stage outfit is composed predominantly of dark shorts studded with metal buttons there solely for aesthetic purposes and a leather jacket patterned by black and gray triangles. Redundant straps and buckles reminiscent of a punk or biker dangle from her waist, and boots bearing a pattern similar to that of bared teeth cover her shins.

Appearance (Stage):

Personality: Easygoing and personable, Helvetica gives off an impression that makes her easy to approach and converse with. Despite this, due to her nature as an ASSW built for a purpose, Helvetica possesses a certain sense of duty in spite of her apparent disinterest in attaining the power that is Mugic, leading her to use her inherent advantages that come from being a machine to serve the people as an emergency responder. Because of these qualities, it's her belief that those who possess power have an obligation to wield in in ways that carry greater responsibilites, such as protecting those without such advantages. She's surprisingly curious and contemplative, wanting to view an issue from every angle possible before tackling it, making her adept at both problem solving and navigating social situations.

Strangely, despite her peers and Semibreve's fixation on Mugic and how everyone seems to covet it, Helvetica possesses a very peculiar disinterest in Mugic for reasons largely unknown, part of the reason why she hasn't attempted to gain it previously. She holds a distaste for those who are obsessed with Mugic, wondering how it's been allowed to dominate so many facets of life in Semibreve.

The Potential

Strength - Targeting System: Helvetica possesses a built in targeting system that can allow her to pinpoint visual details to a degree not found in a human.

Strength - Quick Witted: Years of serving on a rescue and emergency response team has drummed the value of problem solving into Helvetica's head. She's adept at puzzling out solutions to issues on the fly and equally quick to act on those solutions.

Strength - Rapid Response: Practice with this skill absolutely necessary in her line of work, combined with her mechanical nature, has honed Helvetica's reflexes to a fine point. As a result, she's far faster than the average human and has the reaction speed to match.

Strength - Easygoing: Helvetica is an even-tempered person by nature, and those around her are hard pressed to act abrasive or aggressive to her face, instead finding that simply being around her has a somewhat calming effect. Oftentimes this makes it somewhat easier to approach.

Strength - Steady Hands: Gifted with literal robotic precision, Helvetica excels at tasks on a smaller scale, such as putting things together or playing instruments.

Weakness - Faulty Cooling: Helvetica's cooling system isn't quite up to the current standard for Anti-Shadow-Suppression-Weapons, and while it may get her through day to day life it can often fail during high stress situations. In spite of her speed and reflexes, her long-term endurance is hindered by virtue of this fact, and hotter environments can take their toll on her if she's exposed for prolonged amounts of time.

Weakness - Impulsive: Helvetica, in spite of her improvisational skills, can be quick to act on a whim without thoughts of later consequences. This gets her both into and out of trouble in her line of work (though mostly the former).

Weakness - Disinterest: Because of her previous listless attitude towards Mugic, Helvetica has no prior knowledge of this art, unlike a few of her kin.

Weakness - Binary Soul: Helvetica often has a difficult time telling when she's hit her physical and mental limits, pushing on to a point where sometimes other people around her have to rein her in.

Weakness - Unfamiliarity: While Helvetica knows the EDM district like the back of her own hand, she's never been stationed elsewhere and has absolutely no experience in any other district.

Weapon Description: A simple, single edged backsword with a slightly wedge-shaped blade and crossguard. The blade proper is composed of triangles in a shade of teal once activated, a weapon issued to those in her line of work.

History: Upon conception, Unit-H64 was nothing special; they were programmed with standard EDM procedures and reallocated to that district to serve alongside their fellows before being activated, perhaps to one day awaken to Mugic, the power so held in such high regard by the whole of Semibreve.

However, as they began to develop a personality and ego of their -- no, her -- own, it became readily apparent that she had quite a few quirks in her personality. For one, she chose to name herself after a pair of fonts she had stumbled upon whilst working at a computer, only explaining that the names 'sounded pleasant' if asked about the peculiar monikers. Then, even stranger, the newly christened Helvetica showed no interest whatsoever in gaining the power of Mugic, even as a substantial number of peers had managed to grasp that power and left for higher offices, despite being entirely pleasant to interact with and showing quite the aptitude for reason. This lack of desire made her somewhat of a pariah, as instead of striving for that gift of Mugic (which she may well have excelled at) she opted to join an emergency response team along with human volunteers and a number of her fellow machines.

For a time, Helvetica excelled at her role. For three decades she continued to respond to various disasters across the EDM district, stifling both potential catastrophes and the potential ill will that could grow from such events, lest shadows be attracted by such thoughts; she even gained a repute for being one of the most quick thinking (if impulsive) responders in the district. Not a thought of Mugic passed through her mechanical brain as she settled into this existence, until one fateful year's Auditions Festival...
