Appearance:

Standing at a respectable 6'2" as well as 180lbs with a seemingly slender build at glance, Rex often portrays a rather well-put together persona. One should not be surprised to find out that he is quite well built despite not appearing overly muscular in his typical wear of choice, however. His long dark brown hair fades into a lighter, almost amber shade color at the tips, matching his amber eyes. Most often the man is seen wearing attire more on the formal side, ranging from suit-esque get ups, to more simple styles with just shirts. His typical colors of choice are on the darker side with blacks and browns, along with some amber/golden accents, most notable being the slight eyeliner accent he likes to wear.

Stage Appearance/Mugic Created outfit:

His stage outfit appears to almost take on an opposite feel to his regular proper style, wearing a more loose long white sleeveless jacket with a hoodie. He wears no shirt underneath, his whole upper body up to the top of his neck instead covered in what appears to be black tattoo ink, with golden lines patterned on his arms, as well as around his upper chest. He also wears various gold trinkets on him, ranging from gem-like accessories to earrings or a ring here and there.

Personality:

Most people would describe Rex as a rather...intriguing type of person. His presence has the tendency to give off a reserved vibe, and perhaps even somewhat stiff or rigid at times. Those who only see him in passing or do not have the chance to properly interact with him are likely to see him as a prim and proper guy, and possibly not the most amicable. That is not entirely true however, and although he is by no means a boisterous or even very extroverted, he is a surprisingly polite, kind and even to an extent soft-spoken person. One could even say that there is a strange duality to the man at times, for he can present both as the quiet intelligent type, as well as the nice and helpful one and even strangely forward depending on the situation at hand. He certainly has a slight edge of intensity to him that can vaguely linger about, but it is not one often seen directly as he seems to lean towards showing a disinterest in obvious eccentricity, in spite of having a surprisingly strong ego and not lacking in self-confidence.

The Potential

Strengths and Weaknesses:

+ In spite of his relatively unassuming appearance in his regular choices of wear, Rex is quite physically fit and is for example strong enough to be able to lift and carry up to around 200lbs with relative ease as long as it isn't for too long, and the cargo in question isn't struggling.

+ Not something many are aware of is the fact that the man has a side hobby of practicing martial arts and fighting with melee style weapons, making him fairly skilled if he were to ever get into a brawl. Though, while he is pretty good at it, he wouldn't consider himself an actual master fighter either.

+ Most people would say that one of his best qualities is his patience, and ability to not get pointlessly riled up too fast. While a lot of people may lose their cool quickly or impatiently jump into a fray without thinking, Rex is typically the one to stay back and analyze a situation more calmly.

+ Compared to the average person, it could be said that Rex is surprisingly booksmart, due to being the type to enjoy his solitude and often passing the time by reading or simply researching interesting things. While he is not guaranteed to know everything, he'd typically fairly well informed at the very least.

- Rex has frankly never been a huge fan of conflict, and even his dedication towards keeping himself fit and capable of a fight is more of a personal interest than something he desires to use against people for real. Not being the type to advocate for seemingly unnecessary harsh methods, he is prone to holding back at times, rather than going for a quick kill/finish.

- Thanks to a slight distaste towards overly loud environments and noises, the man is often fairly easy to exasperate when faced with the types of musicians whom focus primarily on making a racket. Ringing headaches are not something he likes to order from the menu, after all.

- For all his patience and intellect, Rex can nevertheless be a rather stubborn person, especially in the face of sudden changes. While he would not disagree with the need for innovation from time to time, chaos and fast turns without a lot of thought are something he struggles to get behind, possibly causing friction with some types of people.

- While playing instruments has not been a difficult task for him to accomplish, it nevertheless remains to be said that he happens to be rather terrible at distinguishing them apart by sound. He's unlikely to be able to tell what exactly is being played when listening to any sort of composition, although he doesn't particularly care either way.

The Background

History:

Born to a fairly wealthy family, it could be said that Rex didn't have a difficult childhood, at least at glance. Not to say that he has any hard feelings about the way he grew up though. His parents had gotten married in part due to family connections and while they got along decently well, there was always a certain stiff atmosphere around. The two have come from different district backgrounds (metal and edm), and would often disagree on the matters related to music, and subsequently what to teach their son as well. Unfortunately for them, Rex had turned out to initially not show much of an interest in learning how to be a musician at all, adding to the family struggles in the area. Nevertheless, none of them were very confrontational types and thus the household simply carried on, the tense vibe lingering in the background.

The somewhat suffocating feeling that it brought ended up being the reason why Rex eventually moved out, once he was old enough to. He ended up settling in the classical district, all thanks to a childhood friend of his whom agreed to share a place with him since neither of them were able to pay rent fully on their own at that point. His friend Theo was an avid classical fan and player, and ultimately ended up being the one to get Rex into learning a bit of music, although the man would always keep it on the downlow and mostly as a casual side-hobby. As aware as he was that the city ran on music, in his opinion unless one was truly passionate about performing, it wasn't even all that moving to witness such musicians. Doing it just for the rules was often soulless, and he never saw a need to put himself out there for no good reason.

These days, he still rooms together with his friend despite it being unnecessary in lieu of kind of appreciating the company, even though the two of them get on each other's nerves a lot. He does his job, and watches the going of the city...and although he wonders how long the fragile stability between competing districts will last, he's never been the one to stir big waves on his own without assurance that they'd matter...
