Morbid beauty (Cherry and Sonia SL)

A lone teenage girl stood in the middle of a barren street. Her curious eyes trained solely on the figure of a man trapped in glass. A look of terror and slight regret on his face. The face, being the part of his body Cherry focused on the most. Every single time she tapped on the glass that was coating the man, she'd stare at his eyes, his mouth. Looking for some sign, any sign of movement or any hint that the man could still be alive. The girl has always been curious about the poor people trapped in the glass. If they where alive, if they could breath or hear, if they could even think anymore. Of course before this she could never actually check if these people would react to anything. Since her mother never let her touch these trapped souls. In fact her mother always would call Cherry's interest in these 'statues' to be quite morbid. But now that she was gone, Cherry could finally look and touch them with no judgement.

TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP

The sound of finger nails hitting against glass would once again ring out around the area. As Cherry slowly kept on tapping the man. Her fingers slowly moving up his body in hopes that she trigger some sort of reaction. But sadly nothing came of it. It was becoming clear that the only way to ever know if they where still alive or not was to free them from their glass prison. "I wish I would have asked Snow if he had any of that spare gunk he used to get the comic out." The teen muttered as she got down on her knees and began to look through her bag. Trying to find something that may aid in breaking the glass. In the end however she found nothing of use. Sighing she stood back up and simply glared at the man for a few seconds, before going straight back to tapping on him. The rhythmic noise echoing out in the street once again. Alerting anybody close enough to hear to Cherry's location.

TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP

The sound of footsteps echoed across the glass-clad vistas of northen paris. Ever since the fall of Vault Olympia, and the opening of its doors, both Hugo and Sonia had been taking their time exploring the surface at night, taking turns as to not cause too much of a ruckus at home trying to sneak out. While it was a bit of a safety risk going out there alone, the two figured the consequences could be far greater if they didn't. Sonia was curious, even if the outside world was a harsh and morbid place. The glassing of Saint-Denise had left quite an impression her. Despite its rather morbid beauty, the fields felt somehow inviting. It was almost as if the crystalline skyscrapers themselves invited her to go out and explore. That, and "Elysia's Garden" never drifted far away from the forefront of Sonia's thoughts. The dream, or vision, had been so vivid... so clear. And it had happened on the same day that Talos had awoken deep within. It couldn't be a coincidence. There had to be a connection between the two. Hugo had dreamed too, but his wasn't the same. He had seen a man with a long nose, within a park. His dream made as little sense as hers did at the time, but since then, the two had actually seen the place first hand. The twins had both seen the blue doors unceremonioulsly standing out there in the Subway station, connected to no room or wall. Behind them rested what they both now recognized as "The Velvet Room." A sort of pocket-space, hidden between dream and reality. While unbelievable to some, Sonia and Hugo had seen so many surreal things, they just took things in stride.

A loud tapping noise caught Sonia's attention. A demon? Or something else? Curious, the young vault dweller tried to locate the source of the noise, sneaking behind cars, bright crystals and inside some stores through the broken shop windows until she finally laid eyes on a girl. Couldn't have been much younger than Sonia herself. One of her arms was horribly disfigured, bulky and made of wood. This... This couldn't be safe right? That had to be a demon, or some kind of trap. With her soulbound ready, Sonia approached Cherry, suspicious, and ready to defend herself. She had to know what this was all about.

Cherry did not notice the sound of footsteps slowly growing louder at first. The noise her tapping against the glass drowned the more subtle noise out. However as the strange  visitor came closer to her. She'd be able to see the purple haired lady out of the corner of her eyes. She ceased her tapping and would step back away from the statue. The person in question was a girl, around her age. Weapon in hand and didn't seem to be all too eager to see her. Which wasn't a shocker. Cherry has been through this song and dance over and over again. And recently she has had some pretty good luck with winning people over and becoming friends with strangers. A soft smile and a cheery voice should be enough to get her to realize that she was no threat. Of course there was always the off chance that the fellow teenager could be the one to break her streak, and if that was the case, then, well......... It wasn't like Cherry had no way to protect herself.

The blonde would fold her arms behind her back. Which didn't help hide her left arm at all, but would hopefully let the lady know that Cherry wasn't planning on using it. A welcoming smile would cross her lips before she would greet the purple haired girl with a cheery voice. "Howdy!" Cherry's eyes soon went from the stranger's to the blade she held in her hands. "That is quite the fancy sword you have there miss. I've never seen one like it before. I am guessing it is meant for poking, rather then slashing?" It wasn't the most meaningful comment in the world but it was a start for small talk.
