Welcome to the Velvet Room (Waddle-dee/doo squad and Sonia)

The Waddle-dee's had been told to greet one of the new Awakened, and with them came a pair of Waddle-doo's to watch over them and to translate for the little guys, though they didn't have to go far, the visitor to the velvet room appeared in the clearing of the area of the Velvet Room that was given to them and they looked at the Bed to see Sonia sleeping, so they all decided to politely wait for her to wake up. Though some of the Waddle-dees started to simply take naps as well

"No wait guys you shouldn't go to sleep we need to be awake to greet the new guest remember!" one of the waddled-Doo's said trying to stop the Dee's from sleeping.

"Just let some of them nap, you know how they are, they are simple Dee's" the other said with a cheerful tone "oh right... you go wait by the pillow, that way she will find you right away when she wakes up... that should stop her from being to surprised" it said with a sage nod

As the Waddle-dee gave a little salute and climbed onto the bed and took a seat near the pillow the other Waddle-Doo looked to the first "You sure this is a good Idea? I mean... just waiting here for her to wake up?"

"Of course it's a good Idea, she will be a bit groggy sure, but we can get her introduce her to the room and tell her about everything, then it's the first thing in the morning for her and she will remember it all, it's perfect what could possibly go wrong?" the other said with a happy nod.

From the Visions of a great tree, to that of a door. Sonia stood within empty blackness, tired and confused. She was wearing her everyday clothes... even though she had gone to bed wearing her PJ's... Or at least, so she thought. Had the evening really drained her that bad? She took a look around, hearing a soft ringing noise in her ear. Her Master Key hung from her neck, glowing a bright blue. With nowhere else to really go, Sonia took a few, brave steps forward, and reached for the door knob. It refused to budge. "Okay then..." She said to herself, grabbing her key, and shoved it into the keyhole, and turned. Hearing the satisfying *click* from the lock, Sonia smiled, opened the door, and stepped inside the white light that waited on the other side.

Once the brightness faded, Sonia found herself standing in the middle of a park, bathed in blue moonlight. This was... Place d'Italie? She had heard of the famous french park in Southern Paris through school, but she never thought she'd be there. Off in the distance, she saw the monolithic silhouettes of the Croulebarbe Residential Area, though she could not make out any details. It took her a moment to notice the small, red creatures that had surrounded her. Some asleep, while others looked at her with wide eyes. "Uh... Hi." Sonia gave the weird creatures an awkward wave, not sure what to say. This was one strange dream. First, the white tree, then this? Sonia couldn't make any sense of it.

Beyond the group of Waddle-dee's and -doo's, a man with an exceedingly long nose awaited her. His caffeine-induced gaze looked rather curious, and intimidating all at once. "Welcome, to the Velvet Room, esteemed guest." The long-nosed man spoke, flashing a smile her way. "My name is Igor. I am delighted to make your aquaintence." The man known as Igor chuckled, before pointing towards a solitary park bench on the opposite side. "I'm sure you have a lot of questions, so please... Fire away. And don't be alarmed. These little ones only want to help." He nodded towards the small creatures which had surrounded Sonia. She waded through the pond of Waddle-dee's and -doo's, before sitting down on the Bench as instructed. "Where... am I?"

As she greeted them the Waddle-dee's all waved to her with little smiles as the Waddle-doo's did the same, though as she walked through them they parted so they wouldn't obstruct her path, the Waddle-doo's scooted after her and as she sat down on the bench the two Waddle-doo's hopped up to sit on ether side of her, with the Waddle-dee's standing and sitting around the base of the bench, a couple running off and swiftly returning with a cup of tea for the guest. as they waited for Igor to continue.

"Now, if you excuse me, Miss... Sonia was it? I am quite the busy man, and currently needed elsewhere. If you have any questions, I'm sure the little rascals can provide." The beak-nosed man let a giggle pass before he simply turned around, and vanished. "...Huh..." Sonia blinked. None of this made any sense. She knew of the powers she possessed, but... that's about it. And whatever vague things the Old man had told her. She looked down at the veritable army of orange blobs, which had begun to surround her. "Uhh... What are you guys?" She asked after a few moments of awkward silence, the young girl still trying to process everything. "Who was that guy? Why am I here? Where am I?" The park looked so unfamiliar to her. Why would she be dreaming of a place she had never once seen before? This wasn't the surface. That much she could gather, given that there was a full moon glowing above them, and not a shred of glass to be seen...

The Waddle-doo's waited for Igor to explain things and sat with Sonia happily relaxing a bit, and then... the nose man excused himself and left them to explain things, One of them was immediately looking very confused as they hadn't expected this, While the other Waddle-doo hopped up and ran towards Igor "Wait no Get back here you Nose bearing weirdo!!" it said as Igor slowly vanished and as he got to where Igor had been they closed their eye and shook their fist at the space he had left "GAH Igor this isn't what you said we would be doing, get back here you long nosed liar and at least tell us what to DO!!" it called out.

Meanwhile the other Orange Waddle-doo seemed to recover and take out a notepad "Oh it's written here" they said before scooting a bit to look at Sonia and he started to read off the notebook. "Ahem.... Greeting Sir and or madam... wait we are already past the greetings aren't we? Well it's here so might as well make sure I do this right.... *Ahem*.. You must have Many questions, luckily we are here to provide you with answers... both me....Insert name here.... and my companion... Insert name here... wait... those aren't our names....does Igor not know our names?... anyway" he then flipped the page on the notepad "Oh... that was it..." they said as they looked back up to Sonia.

"OH we are Waddle-doo's and the little guys sitting around here are Waddle-dee's, but if you mean specifically, that silly little ball of annoyance is Pinky" they said pointing to the Waddle-doo who was at the moment grumbling and ranting quietly to themselves, they were a light red color. "and I am Clyde nice to meet you, as for who that guy was he was Igor, he's kind of the one that is in charge here, we are the Attendants of this Velvet Room, you are here because you awakened to your potential, that power inside you, you manifested it, and we of the Velvet room are here to help you understand your power and provide some things to help you like supplies which you can purchase with Velvet coins, which you should have gotten while fighting those demons and you will get some from defeating Shadows too" they said happily as they tried to explain.

Eventually the one named Pinky scooted back to them. "More specifically we are Nature spirits, the Waddle-dee's and us Waddle-doo's, we took shelter in this Velvet room when the world went crazy, and were asked to help with the people that started to gain  powers when and if that happened. and now here we are... but we can't offer the commodities for free, so you will find all the medicines, and combat gear available at the shop, the Waddle-dee's themselves are also working to setup their own little store where they plan to offer some of out own goods for a Nominal Fee" they said having now calmed down.
