Lost reflections [Flashback/Retuo]

"...then why were you asking me?" Honestly, it wasn't even so much that he wasn't into the conversation, as it was that he didn't have a lot to truly say. A lot of what Eden said was more confusing than anything else, and he also did not wish to get himself dragged into something he'd regret on accident. Retuo was more cautious than he was unfriendly. That said, he was not the best at expressing that at this point in time. Then again, this weird guy didn't appear to notice...or maybe simply wasn't fazed by anything. The boy couldn't quite tell. The over the top attitude was definitely something though...

Retuo would just tilt his head slightly. "Is being savage really a good thing...?" It sounded kind of negative, to be honest. Maybe he wasn't understanding this figure of speech either though. It wouldn't be all that surprising at this point. "Sure." Regardless, he had no reason to refuse going back, as it was what he had been planning on doing at some point anyway. The last thing he wanted was to get lost, because that would by all means spell more trouble than he wished to find himself dealing with on this day. "Um...you're welcome I guess, though wouldn't it be easier to hang out with friends you already know better...?" It seemed a little strange that someone this outgoing who claimed to like company needed to talk a random person they've met into getting it. Maybe he was just overthinking it however. Well, it didn't hurt him, so he would take the card. Whether it was a good thing or not was something he could determine later after all. "Mmmm...bye?" Well, at least he didn't have to worry about it being hard to shake this one off. He probably ought to get going too, because as much as he liked getting a few moments alone, he really couldn't leave his mother on her own for way too long at a time...
