Appearance:
Loki is rather pale looking with slight hint of a tan, slender young man. Standing 184cm at full height, making him tough to miss in a crowd.
His hair is covered by his jacket's hood most of the time, but one can see few bangs, colored a striking violet, partially covering his pink eyes. If one was to ask Loki if his eyes and hair were natural color, he wouldn't know. Loki was born colorblind. He really likes violet/purple and red and despite this handicap he tend to gravitate towards these colors. On his left eyebrow he has twin piercing, making his look even more wierd. He said he liked their "texture".
Loki's clothing style doesn't consist of all that many pieces. He likes jackets with giant hoods, like the one you can see above, and black/red jeans with red/white sneakers. Most of his clothing is red and purple, but he doesn't mind black, white and blue. He has no swimwear, he doesn't like swimming. He's a little bit afraid that the current could take him, since he's weak. He didn't go to parties, as the bright, flashing colors usually gave him a headache.
Amongst his possessions was his beloved brush, which his dad gave him as a gift, his phone and keys. From time to time he has a pack of tissues in his pocket, but he tends to forget about that.
Personality:
Even though named after the Nordic Trickster God, this Loki is quite the opposite. He is kind, helpful and goodhearted. Sometimes he wishes he could be a little more helpful, the sickness being such a hindrance. However, he found another way to it. He couldn't make people happy by helping them out physically, so he decided to try out some more creative. His dad suggested painting and now he's been painitng for several years already. Loki may be weak physically, but the strength of his will is something one does not see everyday.
Sometimes Loki may seem like he's locked in his own little purple world, but in reality he's an outgoing person. He tends to avoid people, though. He doesn't want to make any real attachments to anybody because of his terminal status.

—Strength Name: Passionate painter
—Description: Painting and sketching for many years have made him quite a skilled artist. A small amount of his work is sold for a bit of money, the rest he gifts random people or friends. He tends to use a lot of red, hence his pseudonym 'Redmercy'. He just thought it sounded badass for a painter.
—Strength Name: Cat person
—Description: Aaaaaah! It's so FLUFFY! Loki has no problem stroking, petting, hugging these felines whether they are stray or owned by somebody else. It could be possibly dangerous, but his health can't get any worse, can it?
—Strength Name: Strength of will
—Description: Even though his state of sickness and health is terminal, he's enthusiastic, trying to live his days to fullest. As if he's trying to be an ispiration for those in similar situation as him. His diligence only boosts this fact.
—Strength Name: Night owl
—Description: As much as he likes sun rays, he really prefers the silent night's touch. That's usually when Muse decides to hit him and get him to paint, even when he's tired to death.
Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name: Colorblind
—Description: Born with this handicap, Loki can't do much about this. He got used to thi over the years, though. His mom used to teach him different colors based on their shade he's seeing.
—Weakness Name: Sickly weak
—Description: Being sick, made him extremely vulnerable. At least he doesn't have to do anything at PE!
—Weakness Name: Cigarette smoke
—Description: One of things Loki purely hates. If he manages to breathe in some of this smoke by accident he starts coughing quite a bit, earning confused and worried looks from others.
—Weakness Name: Fear of attachment
—Description: As he has only 10-15 years left to live, he doesn't want to attach to somebody. Even though he says that where something ends something new begins... He wouldn't be happy if he broke someone's heart.
Soul Bound Weapon:
Weapon Name: Celestial brush
Weapon Description: The Celestial Brush consists of a 11cm long wooden base and 4cm long brush itself. It gives Loki to write in the air, but beside the aesthetic purpose it has no other meaning. It damages 1 enemy by drawing a dot on the enemy. Deals rather low damage overall.

The Background

History:
Loki's family is quite the strange one. His mother is Norweigan and his father is Japanese. They lived in Japan at first, but when Loki was 5, they moved to Norway. Happy family, happy times. But Loki's life took a turn for worse, when he was 10.
His mother passed away from sudden illness. Both Loki and his father took the blow heroically, but one could see that they've changed. They split the house chores, Loki learned how to cook and do laundry on his own, which proves useful to these very days. His father worked hard, but never forgot about his son and kept on raising him as he did before. But the fate was not done with Loki yet.
As years passed, Loki noticed that slowly he's starting to get exhausted a lot faster than his schoolmates. His dad got worried and had Loki checked in a hospital. He was 16 by this point. The tests showed that Loki was suffering from a similar disease his mother had, which sharply cut his lifespan to maximum of 40 years and cut his physical abilities. His dad was crushed, but Loki didn't give up. A year after this he found a stray kitten, shivering in an alley. At first it was obviously scared, but Loki took it to the vet and decided to keep it.
Shortly after he named the kitten 'Ammy'. However, his dad had some other idea. He admitted that he was secretly saving up money for Loki's trip to Japan and purchased a cheap apartment in Shibakuzoi. And so, several months later he arrives with Ammy... Not knowing what he has gotten himself into.
