| Indeed, homura wasn't some murderous sociopath. He was too cool to act like an idiot with a raging passion to kill, with no remorse. However, he wasn't so innocent himself. Being a nurse isn't the only job he has, but for his own safety. Homura has to act as if being a nurse is, his own career. "I am a nurse after all, don't let someone like me fool you." | |

| “...C’mon now, don’t be so modest. You’re in health care, you’re makin’ people’s lives better. Says a helluvalot more’n what I do,” genuinely responded Shouhei. While it didn’t excuse their earlier behavior, he at least recognized their profession. Feeling rather tempted because of his customer’s past actions, Shouhei decided to make the conversation more interesting, and a coy grin lit his features.

Unfortunately for his entertainment that route in the conversation lead nowhere, but it would let him get some joy out of Haruhiko later.
