Burning Embers [Hono's Awakening]

Julius looked a little surprised at her question. He chuckled a little dryly, and folded his arms in front of her. "You just fought a demon and summoned the dormant powers of your psyche in a class room, and you're unimpressed? Are you expecting fanfare?" He stepped forward and put a hand on the girl's shoulder, and looked at her seriously. "The real tests will be the things that none of us ever saw coming. Psyche Terrorists, or Demon lords, or worse. This is only the beginning, Miss Kaen, and it's a big step. Go home, rest. Attend your studies. Be ready when the moment comes, and you'll find the test never really ends."

With that, the prince moved towards the door to the room and openned it. "Welcome to Class Zero, Cadet." He said, and left the girl behind, empty goblet in hand.

Hono laughed a bit as Julius spoke. “No, no. I was just wanting to kick some more shadow ass, that’s all!~” she said cracking her knuckles. Hono looked up at the prince as he looked into her eyes. He seemed serious, so Hono listened. “Yeah, alright!” She said to her superior. “I’m ready to beat those terrorist into the ground!” She had so much enthusiasm it seemed.

Hearing him welcome her to the cadet sent chills down her spine. She was quite happy and a bit nervous. None the less the girl walked out of the class and headed home as the prince suggested.
