The bird dodged her bullets with a great deal of agility. "Damn Bird!" she said angrily as the bird avoided her shoot. The bird retaliated with a thrust of its beak. It didn't do that much damage, but it still pissed Hono off. She angrily trusted towards the bird with her rapier, in an attempt to pierce the bird.

Hono once again missed her mark, she angrily sighed. "damn it!" The bird then used an attack on the girl. It thrust its beak to Hon once, hitting her once. It went in for a second swoop. Hono managed to step to the side before the bird could make contact a second time. Hono noticed the bird wasn't as fast as before, she decided to try her rapier once again. She thrusts forward with her rapier.

The bird once again cast a fire spell, it did a bit of damage to Hono before extinguishing after a few seconds. Hono was getting more and more pissed off. "Ugh! Why didn't Isaac tell me about all this-" She whined a little before pointing her Rapier at the bird. She casts Agilao once again, the balls of flame were launched towards the bird by the writer that floated behind Hono.

Hono's fire was quite effective. She cracked her knuckles and took a deep breath getting ready for the bird to return an attack. The bird sent strong sharp gusts of wind. It sliced Hono, cutting her body a little. She bled a bit, her health was falling. Though Hono kept on the offensive, repeating her spell casting Agilao again as fireballs headed towards the bird.

The bird took her fire attack once again. It seemed to be more effective than her gun and rapier. So Hono would focus on the fire exclusively despite the bird's fire resistance. The wind was most effective against her. So Hono would hope it wouldn't use it again. The bird went in for a swooping attack, Hono dodged the fist but was hit on it's second go around.

"Make sure to watch your self..." her persona told her as it launched more balls of fire at the monster.

"Yeah Yeah!" Hono sighed as her persona babied her.

The bird looked like it was on it’s last leg. Hono smirks at the bird, he would keep spamming her fire until it died. The bird once again casted that wind spell. It did some damage to Hono. None the less she quickly retaliated shooting another ball of flames at the bird.

Hono crossed her annoyed the bird was still alive, none the less she had to keep going, sure she was hurting but she wanted to focus on defeating the bird before healing. She once again charged a ball of flames before shooting it at the bird.

As the final burst of fire reduced the enemy to cinders, the remains of the demon faded away, and the soft, slow clapping of the Prince could be heard behind her. There was an easy smile on his face, as if he was fully expecting her victory, and had just been vindicated of something he hadn't doubted from the start. "Well done, Officer Kaen. You've defeated your first demon. They are not the only enemies you'll face as a Cadet in the service to this City, nor the strongest of it's kind, but you've proven you can wield the power you've been given. You are dismissed, until you are called upon for another mission."

Hono let out a sigh as the bird was defeated. She panted for a few moments before hearing Julius’ claps. She looked over at him. She wanted to snap but she had to keep her cool. He congratulated her, which surprised her a bit “dismissed? That’s it?” He asks a little confused, Hono wasn’t quite sure what do now, she thought the test would be a lot more rigorous. Hono was relived though, finally able to be a cadet like she always wanted to be for a while. Office Kaen had a nice ring to it~
