Splish Splash [Open]

Doing absolutely nothing was a complete waste of time, yet it was absolutely great. Floating around and staring at the glass ceiling dimly lit by the moonlight was rather satisfying. Though, it was useless, a waste of time. He was doing something productive, repeatedly swimming from one side of the pool to the other. It's the superior form of cardio-respiratory training. Running damages your cartilage, and he did enough of that through other means. Suddenly, Yuri realised that since it was night, he could make Rogziel freeze over the pool. The look on the swim team's faces would be epic! It's too bad that would probably cause his Persona userness to be found out. That prompted him to think a good method of torture would be to freeze someone under a pool. He almost chuckled a bit. That was a pretty fucked up method of torture. Then again, all torture is fucked up.

Lupin was walking to the gym area to hopefully do some exercise and improve his bouncing capabilities and through that get more money through donations. He was walking through the pool area because to him that the quickest way into the gym. Plus the lockers in the swim area are much more secure than the lockers in the gym. Lupin put his important stuff like phone and bag in the locker.

When Lupin started to walk around the pool he noticed some just floating there. At first, Lupin didn't recognize who was in the pool but after a while noticed hey its Yuri. Lupin then thought to himself I could say hello or I can make this funny and just stare at him until he notices. That would be pretty funny. So Lupin did just that he just stares at Yuri waiting until he notices and to see if he jumps or not. Lupin loves to scare or make people laugh he always enjoyed their overreactions they tend to have.

That was about enough laps for now. Yuri lifted himself out of the water, right in front of Lupin. However, the water from the pool wet his hair down in front of his face! He could not see Lupin in front of him. By the time he pushed it out of the way, Yuri had already sat down, facing back towards the pool. He was completely unaware of Lupin's presence.

With a small frown Shouhei had realized he was not alone in wanting to swim in the Academy’s pool this fine evening.  He was hoping that after a shift at the host club and a bottle of wine he could unwind and relax by himself.  There was something different about swimming while under the influence, especially at night.  He briefly recalled a few times, one of them skinny dipping…

Until his blue eyes fuzzily narrowed at who he saw exiting the pool.  Was that Yuri?  The hell were the odds?  There was some other guy there too, hovering around the outside not swimming, but his back was to Shouhei so he couldn’t tell who it was.  Regardless alcohol flowed through him and he would be damned if he didn’t enjoy himself this night.  Howling, his voice bouncing and echoing throughout the pool, he hurtled himself past Yuri and the stranger as he curled himself up into a ball mid-leap.

The resulting cannonball would splash Yuri and the stranger he sprinted past.

Lupin now wet with pool water finally decides to break the silence and decides to say something. "Hi guys I exist apparently." Lupin seeing that his little joke will go nowhere decides to start interacting with people like a normal person. What can wrong? "Oh shit" Lupin thought to himself its Kawaga from the roof. Maybe he won't notice.

Possible responses.

If Shouhei realises Lupin is here Lupin will respond with.
"This isn't going to end well"

If Shouhei didn't realises its Lupin talking he would just try and keep it casual.
"So what you guys been up today?

After surfacing and shaking his head vigorously like a dog, Shouhei cheered.  “How’d ya rate that canno-”

Then the smile faded from his face at realizing who was standing next to Yuri.  A veritable dam wanted to burst and a billion expletives and insults would flood upon Lupin, but Shouhei held his tongue.  If he were to openly mock Yuri for the company he kept, wouldn’t that also insult himself?  At the very least he drenched the apparently ill equipped Lupin and Shouhei considered that a small victory in itself.

“...If that guy’s tryin’ to scheme somethin’ with you Yuri, tell ‘im to fuck off.  Damn clown almost got me arrested by a Cadet the other day,” Shouhei resigned himself to a dead man’s float and slowly drifted away from the two.

Oh, hey, it's Lupin. Upon hearing Shouhei's accusation of clownin' behaviour, he felt a little nauseous. Not because of what he said, he just happened to realise he must have overexerted himself at that exact point in time. "Is that so?" That was pretty unepic of Lupin. He would have loved to stick around and hear what happened, but he felt a sudden sickness coming on strong. Taking a few moments to gather his breath and stand up, he stumbled into the bathroom to go throw up in the toilet, leaving the two best of pals alone to themselves.

Oh no Lupin thought to himself. This is probably going to backfire on him. Feck it might as well come clean, that cadet is nowhere to be seen so now is a good as time as ever to say sorry. It would be easy to do damage control. So Lupin said in a calm tone. "Hi Mr. Kawaga I tried finding you today after some girls accused you of beating me up, I wanted to say I am sorry for up and lying to you and stealing your grill had I knew it was yours I would've left it be. If my word isn't enough I actually have a gift for you to make it up to you, I hope you feeling hungry its food." Lupin said this with a straight face. He wasn't fecking around why cause more damage Lupin would gain nothing out of it.

Lupin added one more note to hopefully bury the hatchet. "Oh yeah I told the girls you were just at the wrong place at the wrong time, regardless of what happens next I got your back since you know you're a friend of Yuri. A friend of my friend is a friend to me unless its law enforcement then I will get worried." hopefully giving Shouhei a laugh will help ease tensions.

Ok Lupin has a good feeling about this.

For several moments it appeared as if Shouhei really had died and had drifted face first in the water.  Slowly but surely he spun around, again taking several moments to think about Lupin’s words.  Adrift on his back, he stared up at the glass ceiling and into the night sky above.  

“...I’m only takin’ your word for it because you know Yuri.  A normal guy woulda apologized from the get go though and that’s what pisses me off the most ‘bout you.  Then again, I haven’t really met many normal guys in this city.”  He righted himself in the water and turned to face Lupin, his icy blue eyes staring him dead on.

“Just don’t lie to me or Yuri ever again.  Or involve us in your pranks.  Ya hear?”

After a few moments of silence, a flush could be heard. Yuri came walking back into the room. It was clear the two were having an important discussion that he shouldn't interrupt, so he said nothing as he sat back down by the pool's edge. It was good they seemed to be sorting out whatever trouble they had gotten into earlier.

Lupin had a defeated look on his face, but at least he sorted it out with Shouhei. Lupin stared back to Shouhei's icy eyes with his own black colored eyes and simply responded. "Sorry usually I don't resort to lying, keep in mind I did get hit by shovel before that whole debacle happened. what you experienced was a rare event actually me lying believe or not, it's up to you if you believe me I don't tell people what to do." Lupin seemed somewhat more relaxed as he continued what he has to say. "I am not trying to justify myself, in fact, feel free to call me a dumbass or an asshole if you are really up to it, but someone else would have gotten hurt had I not done something beforehand so while my actions yes were motivated by selfish desires I believe I may have saved someone from being seriously hurt, those gardening feckers are bloody insane. You thought I am werid, we live in a world of magic and demons I think I am normal as far as this shit is concerned."

Lupin stopped for a second and quick swivel his head around to make sure no one else is watching, he noticed Yuri but thankfully no police or cadets in sight. "Oh hey Yuri." Lupin then turns back to Shouhei. "If its all the same to you Mr Kawaga can we agree to keep this between us, I don't want to deal with that cadet again, I have better things to be doing with my time like, getting suppiles for my orphanage back in Selene." Lupin hopes this will be the last of the ice bag scandal he ever has hear about.

“...Like gettin’ all them orphans bags of ice?  Spare me your tender heart, Lupin,” Shouhei’s latter words were soaked in sarcasm.  It turned to a more playful tone and a laugh as he continued, “You shoulda seen what this clown did to get back at this freakazoid gardenin’ guy, Yuri.  He got me all caught up in the crossfire, which led to a run-in with  a Cadet, and only just now apologized for it.  But since he sounded kinda sincere and he’s acquainted with ya, I figure I can take that apology now.”

What a lovely resolution to a pointless conflict. It seemed the two were no longer enemies, which was nice. "Yeah, I won't tell anyone, Lupin. Don't fret about it." It sounded it would have been quite an entertaining story had he witnessed it firsthand. He turned to Shouhei. "Sounds like I'd better keep an eye out for those gardeners. Goodness. Anyways, yes, it's nice that you two have made up."

Looking back to Lupin, he asked "Does that pogo stick bounce on water? It seems you haven't come here for a swim. I wouldn't want to hold you, but we never did finish that chess match. Why don't we continue it tomorrow after classes end? At the library again, of course."

Lupin turned to Yuri and responded with "No I have a feeling I might run into a cadet if it could bounce on water but it doesn't I am here to do some exercise and hopefully run into a friend of mine." Lupin then remembered about the chess game and said. "Sure tomorrow sounds great I had a good feeling I had you on the ropes."

Lupin before going to do some exercise might as well as he remembered something he wanted to ask Yuri and Shouhei something about the seven mysteries. "Hey do you guys know anything about the seven school mysteries? No one seems to want to tell me about them and the information I have gathered on the subject is that one of the mystries involes the pool do either of you know anything about that."
