Demon Weapon Appearance: From shoulder to fingertip, jagged and spiked crimson and ebony armor covers Shouhei’s arms.  Demon, or oni-like skulls are part of its cruel design.  Take-Minakata’s parasitism of Shouhei manifests itself as beautiful tattoo-like brands that hearken to a tale of Take-Minakata, or Kouga Saburou, a man who temporarily became a dragon after a journey into the underworld.  This conceals its blatant armored form.

Take-Minakata:

Demon Weapon Personality: Take-Minakata’s voice appears to be a shadow of Shouhei’s.  Its personality has grafted itself onto and mimicked Shouhei’s own, but more akin to his shadow side.

Demon Weapon Background: Take-Minakata-no-kami is one of the sons of Okuninushi. When the Amatsu decided to increase their influence on the earth, they sent Take-Mikazuchi to conquer Take-Minakata. They had the first sumo match which Take-Mikazuchi won. Take-Minakata then had his arms cut and fled to Suwa, where he married a Suwa goddess, Yasakatome, and became the guardian god.

Passive Boosts: The Persona of the Hanged Man Arcana are commonly Personas excelling in survivability. Users have a latent 15% boost in health and defense.

Skill 6: Arrow Rain (Unlocked once defeating an additional thirty Demons/Shadows and using your Demon/Shadow Weapon an additional 35 times in PvS combat; Must be Tier 3 or lower)
Skill 7: Resist Electricity (Unlocked once using your Last Life to successfully defeat a Plot Boss over your current level or using your Demon/Shadow Weapon an additional 45 times in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower)
Skill 8: (Unlocked after using your Demon/Shadow Weapon an additional 45 times in combat and defeating 60 Demons/Shadows in PvS combat; Must be a Tier 4 Skill or Lower)


Special Ability:

Ability Name: Kouga Saburou
Appearance while in Kouga Saburou: Crimson draconic armor encases Shouhei.  Much like Take-Minakata’s sealed form that appears like tattoos, this form change hearkens to Take-Minakata’s possible origins as Kouga Saburou, a man who temporarily became a dragon after a journey into the underworld.

Kouga Saburou:

Description: When Shouhei’s health gets lower than 30% he automatically goes into a powerful state called Kouga Saburou. This happens once per battle and powers all his moves up by 30%. Even his skills rank up a tier in damage. This mode lasts for three turns regardless if his HP recovers past the 30% mark.

Description: Take-Minakata, a known patron of war, grants Shouhei prowess in the Art of War. For 3 rounds Physical Skills of Tier 2 or lower scale off of Shouhei’s Dexterity instead of Take-Minakata’s strength stat.
