As the rain hit against the window, Maria began to stare at each droplet against the transparent surface. It had already been hours since the class on Rogues ended. Even as her job to record the lecture was over, she had other duties sticking her to the solitary desk in the empty classroom as she scanned and skimmed through papers. Each one was full of personal information of the Cadets assigned to her, and they were quite a handful already.
What a headache, having to deal with so many of them at once. The Cadet didn't think she would have to be the one sitting here doing clerical work aside from fighting on the front lines in the defense of the City. It was much preferable to stabbing a monstrous creature than having to sit down and write out considerations for logistics or even the rules of engagement. She sighed and slowly rest her head against the desk before groaning.
Even as she still blankly and emotionlessly stared at the rain outside, it made her wonder about that one Cadet. Where was he this whole time?
"...Urgh, I'm hungry..."

Life had been strange for the idol the more he got himself involved with the Cadets and the mission there. He wasn't quite sure where his life was headed anymore driving the young man a bit mad considering he preferred control versus chaos in his life. In fact, it was these maddening thoughts that had him take a hiatus from his usual work and had the idol taking to the streets early in the morning since sleep was running from him like he was the devil.
He was exhausted and drained, but forced himself out of his home and to at least walk to try and clear his head...and as usual he found himself drifting to the school and in turn to the area where Class Zero was permitted. What was it about this place that kept drawing him back? That made him think that by sitting there in the silence he could just be rid of the thoughts that bother him? Was he hoping that the walls around him could provide him peace? Or was he just visiting the place out of having no where else to go at the moment? He wasn't sure...and that only made him frown.
These damn thoughts...when would they leave him--oh. Hello.
The idol entered what he thought was an empty room, but found himself halting when he noticed another was there. He might've left the room if he hadn't taken notice of the blue head that was there. It was Maria. Huh what were the chances that the moment he was about to have a serious issue with himself that he would find her here. And what was even stranger was that he felt a bit of that stress leave him just by knowing she was there. Why? He could not say, but didn't think to hard on it as he heard the words that escaped her lips.
"Hungry? Well would you like to join me in getting some food then?" he would ask, knowing it wasn't a proper hello, but hey he wasn't exactly thinking in a logical order this morning anyway.

"...Mmn, maybe. I could probably tackle the entire cafeteria myself. That's actually sounding good right now..."
She wryly and tiredly replied at the voice coming out of nowhere. Maria hated this heavy hunger she had whenever it came knocking around. She was a growing girl, or so Father Jorge affectionately joked about. But it was all part of this whole Forgotten make-up that affected her body to a significant degree. As much as she loved eating, it made her significantly feel guiltier for indulging in her cravings. How could one be a good follower of the Lord when they were guilty of gluttony? What a dilemma...
Maria then fell into a strange silence before suddenly and abruptly sitting up to see Haru face-to-face. A bright red flush created a scarlet and surprised expression as she flustered at his presence.
"H-Hatsu? W-what are you doing here? Y-you didn't here that, did you? I... I totally don't need to take on the cafeteria! Y-yes! I'm just a little peckish..."
Oh Lord, Hatsuharu came here as if on command. This day was working out to be a normal day, but why such a surprise visit? She felt like dying from sheer embarrassment right now.

The response back was more amusing than disappointing. She didn't really answer the latter part of his question, but that was okay. He managed to gain she had quite the appetite, so there was that; however, what happened next startled him a bit as the girl nearly had a heart attack when she notice that he was there.
Giving her a sheepish smile, the idol would rub the back of his head as he responded back to here. "I came here to think. I didn't think I would find another here though," he said. After all it was still pretty early in the morning. Most would be sleeping or doing something else right now. That aside, he would chuckle softly as she tried to cover up the earlier words. "It's alright. You don't have to be shy about how hungry you are. It's an easy fix if we get some food in you right?" he would look up at her with a gentle smile no mockery to be seen there as he watched her for a bit.

Oh Isla, why did this day have to suddenly sneak up on her like this? Maria felt like she could simply drop dead from the sheer embarrassment. She would do anything to get out of this predicament. Fighting demons and pummeling Psyche-Terrorists was a better situation than this. At least you can beat your problems away, but not this. However, the Cadet easily took hold of the opportunity to change the subject even for a small moment. "W-well... His Majesty needed me to do some clerical work. I thought this place was quiet enough for it. B-But come on in. It's not like I made any claims to the classroom all by myself, you know?"
It really was a surprise anyone would want to be in a humdrum place like this save for work or lectures. But evidently someone had the same thoughts she did. Then again, it was getting a little lonely...
"I... w-well, sure... I guess we could stop by the cafeteria, if you wish."
She took a deep sigh to compose herself before stacking the papers together into a bundle and clipping them into one neat pile. It was a long while before she could get through all of these files as necessary. Once the contents slid into an office manila envelope, it was only then Maria began to leave her seat. She had the key out ready to lock the classroom as the office staff would've wanted her to.
As she began to approach the idol, Maria found herself asking, "Do you know by chance what they're having right now?"
