Needless to say Kahn was a bit confused when he noticed blue doors as he walked through certain parts of Ueitawa, especially when he had not noticed them before. Perhaps this was the door that Cyril was talking about seeing? If so he better be very careful when entering it, otherwise he might find himself dead too. The thought of losing Cyril made him a little upset, but even more so he was confused. What were those creatures that attacked? Where did they come from? Could they be behind these disappearances? What happened to the people who they killed? What was Kogami's connection to that odd door? Did Kogami have a persona, if so...was he an ally or an enemy. Kahn was leaning toward the latter more than the former. Could what was behind this door answer his questions?
Kahn would look around before looking back at the door, 'Guess there is only one way to find out the answers to these questions.' he thought as he reached for the door knob and opened the door. There was a bright blue light and Kahn shielded his eyes in order to retain a fraction of his vision. Once the light faded his ears heard a piano playing, and a woman singing quite well. Whoever these musicians were they were skilled to say the least. It was slightly mesmerizing. Moments later his vision recovered from the bright light and he looked around. The first thing that was quite obvious was the blue color that was repeated throughout the room. From the tables to some of the clothing the persons in the room wore. This can't be the same thing Cyril saw as this wasn't that terrifying. The second year would turn his attention to the other people in the room, most of them were wearing a flight attendant like clothing, but Kahn picked out a rather curious feature they all seemed to share. They all had golden colored eyes, and seemed to be speaking to one another or standing around an old man with a pointed nose. Clearly the residence of this room were not quite human, if they were human at all. Kahn would try to identify these mysterious individuals as friend or foe...seeing of how they didn't try to kill him yet, he would relax his guard a bit.
The green eyes would drift around the room once more, and took note of a door behind him that was the same color as the one he entered through. The exit no doubt, the other one led to somewhere else. However, he felt as though the mirror was not a normal mirror...but he couldn't place his finger on why. Now that he had taken in his surroundings he would stand there a little awkwardly. Obviously still a bit confused as to where he was, and why these people were here. Not to mention who these people were! Anyone who would approach the second year would feel an air of caution around him, not exactly sure what to expect, but it was obvious he was a bit out of his element. However, he wouldn't appear hostile, just a little confused.

Noctis had slowly gotten used to talking to people. Ever since the arrival of a previous guest with potential, he had taken it upon himself that along with his research, he would do his actual job: supporting the guests. Noctis would spend today with the other Attendants in await for guests that may or may not come in. He would in the meantime, feat on the candy he had recently brought back from the other world. He was very interested in trying this new candy called 'toffee'. Though, as he was about to unwrap it for himself, he happened to notice a man coming into the Velvet Room.
The man was white of skin, red haired, and tall. Much taller than he was. He had recently awakened to his potential it seems. Once more, he could sense some bonds he seemed to have. Perhaps he would be a great catalyst to help him with his research, as well as helping him. Whichever was more important at the time, did not matter. Either way, he would walk to the man before the other Attendants, making sure to be quicker at them, and smile, holding out a hand. "Welcome to the Velvet Room. How may I help you?" he said, giving a friendly grin.

Kahn watched one of the people in the room approach him, the second year would try not to seem hostile. When the person offered him a hand to shake, he would take it and offer a smile back. Granted, this wasn't one of his better smiles, but a smile nonetheless. At least these people weren't trying to kill him.....yet, but this individual seemed friendly enough. So Kahn would noticeably relax, The extravagantly, at least when compared to his peers, dressed young man welcomed him and asked if he needed assistance. The red haired young man's green eyes would stare blankly for a few moments, before coming to his senses.
"The Velvet Room? What is this place? Who are you, and these other people in here? What were those things that attacked me?" He would blurt out in an almost incoherent blob of words. Then he was silent, as he realized he barely understood what he just said. Thus he took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment, then he would look around and swallow before looking back at Noctis, "Sorry, a lot has happened, and I'm just a bit confused. Anyways, my name is Kahn, and as you can probably tell I'm new to this Velvet Room. You can start by telling me who you, and these people are, and what this place is."

Noctis would stand there patiently, listening to his questions. He had seemed very rushed. As though he recently ran into trouble, or had something urgent to get to. He would not ask, though it may come up later. He would smile, popping the toffee into his mouth, chewing slowly and savoring the lovely flavor. He would let him apologize, smiling and nodding. "All is well Kahn. My name is Noctis, as it were," he would say holding out his hand. If he were to take it, he would reach his free hand into his coat, and pull out a red lollipop. Probably cherry-flavored, and would offer it to him. It seemed to match his hair. "This is where we Velvet Attendants reside. It is our duty to assist you when you need it. Our master Igor, is currently away this evening, but he oversees all of us as we assist the guests," he would say.
If he had not taken the lollipop when he offered, he would then put it in his mouth, wrapping and all, and pull it off with his teeth, and pop the candy in his mouth, as he would catch the wrapper. An Attendant or two would look onto him a bit oddly, as though he was acting weird. Was he really? The judge of that would have to be Kahn most likely. "As for those that attacked you, you are probably referring to the Shadows. One with Potential such as yourself would notice them at some point. They are not out for good intentions, I suggest not dying when you meet them," he said, still giving his friendly smile. He wasn't psychotic, just eccentric. And he did rather want Kahn to be safe. "Actually, regarding that, I did seem to notice some of those very beings in your world. I have only felt that one other time. Did something happen recently that you know of?" he asked. He was now getting distracted, mostly for his research's sake. Shadows had little to do with bonds, but perhaps if he found multiple people with potential, he could see them form in battle, as some of the purest friendships can be found with sweat, or so he has heard.

Kahn would take Noctis' hand and the lollipop he offered. He would try it, and discover that it was cherry flavored...perhaps to match his hair? How humorous, or at least Kahn would find it rather funny, "Alright, nice to meet you Noctis, and thank for the lollipop." he would reply before listening to Noctis explain what this place was, and what it was that attacked him. The second year would think about calling those creatures...'Shadows'. It seemed rather fitting to say the least given their form and appearance. However, when Noctis mentioned not dying...he would look at the ground and his body would give off a rather sad tone.
"Yes a really large shadow attacked the dorm I stayed at...our most experienced person attacked by a swarm of them, and they...killed him...I think. I don't think we could beat the large one so we fled....only three of the six of us got away." He didn't notice the fact that Noctis was still smiling, as his hands curled into fists, and his right foot began to grind on the floor. "I was too damn weak to do anything, and now they're gone for good...." He would say before looking Noctis in the eye, a rather fierce look was in his eye. One of determination, and a desire for vengeance. They didn't call him 'The Avenger' in his hometown for nothing. That look was feared by the less lawful people in his hometown, and they knew that he was on a mission. It meant someone was going to get what was coming to them...whether they liked it or not.
After a moment he would ask a question, "You said that you were here to assist people like me? Then answer me a few more questions. How do I get stronger? Where can I find these shadows, cause I got a personal score to settle with one of them. Finally, by assist did you mean join us in battle? Because that would be really useful." If not then Kahn would have to quiz him about various details, regarding shadows, and whatever else he brought up. Kahn learned early on that the best way to survive against lawless creatures or evil ones was to learn as much as possible about them before actually fighting. Knowing how they fight, move, where they spend their time. The more one knows about thy enemy the better one can fight them, and punish them tenfold for their crimes.

Noctis would smile. "Your world has very lovely food. Especially the ones with sugar," he said. He would give a curious face when he looked down giving a rather dejected look. He would purse his lips when he spoke of several people getting hurt by the Shadows. Those with potential, now gone. Noctis though thought of something. 'If I can sense those Shadows outside of Limbo....not only that...Was that who I sensed...?' he thought. He looked at Kahn, with a wide-eyed look, and a half smile,as if he knew what was going on, and was eager to tell. "Kahn, I have good news to ease whatever pain you have," he said, taking a single step to Kahn. It was the first time, in a while, he felt sympathy towards someone. He was not heartless, quite the opposite. But emotions were a hard concept for him, in his research or out. But, it was a a sort of test for himself, to be able to connect with human beings, as well as a future test for the man named Kahn.
He would walk to him, placing a hand on his shoulder, gaining a wider smile, trying to ease his pain. "Recently, I, among the other Attendants picked up several people, humans, who had awakened to their potential, lost in Limbo. Not a great scenario I know," he said, his smile shifting to a frown for a brief moment, then turning into an optimistic smile. "But, it seemed to happen some time soon after the Shadow's appearance in your world. If my hypothesis is correct, your friends are in Limbo, and may still be able to be saved," he said. He would look at Kahn's now resolved face. He had a goal in mind; a goal that made Noctis almost envious. 'If I had a driving goal aside from research...' he thought to himself. But he was being distracted again.
After gauging Kahn's reaction, he would think on his next questions, on where to fight Shadows. He would hold his hand out, pointing to the door that was now apparent in the Velvet Room, across from where he was standing, crimson of color, and sinister in feeling. "Doors such as those will take you to the world where your friends are. You will be able to see them around your own world now that you have awakened to your potential. But I will not mince words; that world is where Shadows are, and is quite dangerous. Do not go in there without assistance. As for my personal assistance..." he said frowning. "I am afraid I do not have my method of power able to join you. I would, but..I have to ask my Master for my own Compendium, my source for battle. Though, at least for the time being, I fear I am not ready. Forgive me," he said, giving a smile, trying to stay positive. "Though I can offer assistance outside until then. I can be your helper outside of combat, until the day I get my method to join you in battle," he said, standing there, dropping his hand to watch Kahn's reaction.
Stats:
—Strength Name: You Can Be Too Happy? —Description: Not much can make Noctis sad or angry. The closest thing he usually gets to being angry is passionate, or determined. In short, you would have to do something pretty fierce to rain on his parade
—Weakness Name: Distraction —Description: In places he has never seen before, he will often get distracted in conversation to go look around or even explore, sometimes even forgetting he had someone to talk to and go off somewhere.

Kahn would nod at Noctis' comment about food, and a few moments would pass after Noctis appeared to be in thought about something. The attendant would then offered the second year a half smile, and told him he had good news that would ease his pain. Granted, Kahn was more than a little skeptical because he wasn't exactly sure what news would help him or cheer up after recalling he left two of his friends to die. However, he would adopt a hopeful look in his eyes, perhaps against his better judgement. However, the news Noctis told him was rather unexpected, and the attendant was right that was not the best scenario, but there was still hope.
Any pained look Kahn had would vanish rather quickly, and that serious look would return once more, "Well if it was sensed by attendants by yourself then there must be something to it, and it would at least be worth investigating for clues if nothing else. Furthermore, a chance is all I need, I made it a point not to make the same mistake twice or lose twice to the same opponent. If they're in there, I will save them or die trying." He would reply, and after a few moments his mind would begin to formulate an attack plan of some sort...granted he had no idea of the terrain inside of Limbo so it would make planning difficult.
However, when Noctis gestured to the crimson door, Kahn would turn his attention to the door. The moment his eyes laid on it...he had a rather bad feeling. Like something dark was behind it...this must have been the same door that Cyril saw. No wonder there was a look of fear or worry in the upperclassman's eyes. He would nod as Noctis explained the door, "My awakening taught me that much at least, these Shadows are not to be taken lightly, regardless of their form." However, the fact that Noctis could not fight alongside them yet was a little worrying. Then again the golden eyes young man offered other services outside of combat. The six foot young man would nod before asking a few more questions.
"Alright, I guess that is a bit understandable, but I still have a few more questions. First how are ways that one obtains a persona? Just in case, someone of less than noble intentions tries to lie to me about something. Next, what is the assistance that you can offer outside of combat? Finally, is there anything else in here that I need to know about? Like other services or places?" Kahn was a little surprised at how patient Noctis was, then again he probably did this on a daily basis. Patience may be a trait amongst these Velvet Attendants, then again who was he to know. His green eyes would wander around the Velvet room trying to identify objects of interest.

Noctis would nod, confirming his ambition. The man clearly had a sense of focus. He knew what he wanted, and when, and why, something Noctis would have to grasp someday. "William; a fellow Attendant, informed me earlier. Rather, almost right after the Shadows vanished from your world. Apparently the names of the ones in Limbo are Cyril, Ryu, and Nananishi. Either of them ring a bell?" he would ask, adding that expression that he had just learned after recently coming back to the Velvet Room. 'Such odd speech. I love it,' he thought in his head. "I actually know Ryu myself, so perhaps he would be able to vouch for me." Ryu had awakened to his potential, which was nothing but good for him. Unfortunate that he was now trapped in Limbo. He would have to see him once more to assist him in his future endeavors, as well as the other two trapped. Once hearing his reaction, if he seemed to remember them, his smile would grow, to perhaps its extent, while still looking completely natural on Noctis' handsome face.
"You are quite correct. The Shadows, big or small, could get you in a poor state should you not be aware. My advice would be to bring a team if you intend to rescue the three trapped, as if you truly only have just realized your potential, being precise will be key for you to grow," he said. He could tell from face-value that Kahn seemed a bit disappointed that he could not help. He did not want to say it out loud, as it may upset him more, but even if he were able to fight, Master Igor would still probably bar him from joining them, unless he knew the ones captured well enough. Perhaps if circumstances had changed....
"Personas you say?" he said, almost as if asking a question, though he clearly heard what he said. "It appears that from my own perspective, there would be other ways, aside from your way to awaken. To name the many ways you could would take far too much time. However, I will tell you that the man Cyril. He was actually in the same area where the Shadows were the first time I had sensed them outside of Limbo. He awakened in a similar fashion to you did he not?" he would ask expectantly. He would not look surprised, considering it seemed only logical to assume that was how Kahn had awakened as well. But perhaps the latter half of his question was where his true intention lied....
"If you are referring to less than savory characters wielding Personas, truly there may be no way to tell who has good or evil intentions based on how they get their Persona or what it takes the shape of. You just have to figure it out for your own. Not even we would know," he explained. Attendants are not omnipotent, but it is not like whatever enemy the Users may have are stronger after all, right? He could only assume so. "As for the assistance, I can offer you information regarding future requests and offer items and currency as a reward, I can inform you when others get lost in Limbo, I can offer you sugary sweets, secret recipes...." he trailed off getting distracted once more. He would shake his head smiling before looking back at Kahn. "Either way, Kahn, you will have a battle that I am confident you will win. Remember who your friends are, and don't forget your own abilities," he said, as his final words of encouragement.

Kahn would nod when Noctis spoke of Cyril and Nanashi, "Cyril was an acquaintance of mine, while Nanashi was my roommate. Ryu must be the name of the other kid, who awakened with us." He noticed Noctis' smile grow, but decided that he just seemed to smile a lot. He rolled the lollipop to the other side of his mouth, and stroked his chin, obviously thinking about something. "Sounds like they ended up in the same area, which is a good thing of course, makes them a lot easier to save. And makes getting revenge even easier than before, now that I don't have to hunt down the shadow that attacked the dorm." He would say before listening to even more of Noctis' advice.
A group of people? Who is to say that the people he awakened with even want to fight these things again, after their first experience? Hmm, it could be difficult for him to make allies. After a moment of thinking he would look back to Noctis, "A group huh? I guess, I could try and rally the survivors from the dorm attack to see if they want to fight these things again. Though, I wouldn't blame them after their first taste of combat, but they might be willing to give it another shot. I just hope we'll find a bit more help for this rescue. Maybe they can help fill us in about Limbo and what is going on around here."
When Noctis implied that Cyril achieved his persona in a way similar to the way Kahn received his, the second year would shrug in return. "I guess, I wasn't there, but if those were the circumstances...then I would say it is more than likely." However, he now knew that there were multiple ways for one to earn his or her persona, but Noctis claimed they were many many ways that would take a while to name. Interesting....then the Attendant went on to answer the second part of his question. The answer was not what he was hoping for, so he would have to either assume that everyone was an enemy or at least neutral until he uncovered their motives.
"Hmm, so evil might come down to one's point of view....maybe that is what Kogami was blathering about. Well I guess I'll figure out who is good and evil as I dive deeper into figuring out this mystery." Kahn would reply, and then he listened to the assistance that Noctis can currently offer him. Secret recipes and sugary sweets? Well sometimes the campus food wasn't all that great...so maybe that wouldn't be so bad. "Well I'm gonna say thanks ahead of time for all the stuff you will do to help me, I really appreciate it. The moral support helps a bit too, and I never forget who my friends are. It's a bit of a code that I live by." He would reply before looking around, and then looking back to the door he came in through.
"Anyways, it was nice to meet you Noctis, don't be a stranger if you see me here or in my world. However, I have a job that I have to get to, so I must depart." He would offer Noctis one more handshake before turning back to the door and making his exit. Being engulfed in that blinding light once more.
