A Deathly Introduction (Nadia/ Mina)

It would have likely been a normal day for the lady Nadia Marquee when she went to bed that night. Maybe she'd been out with her boyfriend. Maybe she'd been doing drugs. Maybe she'd been drawing a dead pigeon, or whatever else it is that kids these days did. But shortly after she fell into her sleep, it wouldn't be so normal. Indeed, not long after she fell asleep, Nadia would find herself awake once more. Yet instead of the sites of her room at the Inn, instead she would find herself within a confined space, laying on a bed that would not be odd to find in a prison.

The walls surrounding her looked almost like cushions, with a deep blue hue to everywhere around her. The instant she tried to move, the weight of familiar chains - the chains of her persona - would become noticeable, around her legs and her arms. And before her stood a single woman in blue, a golden sword at her hip, and a big black book in her left hand as she glared down with golden eyes at Nadia.

Then, her eyes moved on, as she opened the book, and began to look at that instead, speaking in a voice full of chilling monotony. "Nadia Marquee. Welcome, Psyche Terrorist. To the Velvet Room."

Nadia had no idea what was going on. Maybe it was a dream...but she felt to aware for that to be the case. She tried to sit up in the bed, but found the chains of her persona bound her. She struggled into a seated position, staring with wide eyes at the Attendant seated there. She blinked. "Hello...Who are you? And where are we?" she asked in a curious tone, interest thoroughly piqued. "Is this somewhere inside the Velvet Room?" she asked, looking around. She had bought a few things from the Velvet Room before. But this seemed entirely different.

At the terrorists reaction, Mina couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. The confusion at first, she had expected. The recognition of the Velvet Room? Not so much. Waiting for a moment for the guest to take a look around, Mina paused, then spoke up once more. "You are correct. This is within the Velvet Room. I am surprised that you know such a place exists. It may make this easier to explain. As for who I am... My name is Mina. I am one of the Attendants that resides here within the Velvet Room. Before I explain why I called you here, do you have any more questions?"
