Appearance: A black haired blue eyed young man whose presence is almost instantly felt by everyone in the room. Although he carries a happy smile his eyes somehow have a cold mysterious feel about them that can drag people in. He stands at 5 foot 10 inches

Personality: A happy ditsy soul of a boy up front but has a mean and disturbed inner self. He is an outgoing person in everyday conversation and has a bad habit of saying everything that is on his mind. His carefree behavior is tamed with his planning towards his goals that he has in life preventing him from actively doing something stupid. He tends to stay out of trouble because he hates conflict. The disturbed part of him often comes out when he has not eaten in a long time or his mind is left to wonder for an extended period of time. Both of these things remind him of his past and because of the painful memories he shuts down mentally. This also happens when he is in life threatening danger.

The Background
History: Born in Vatican City his family was strict but kind. As a young boy it was hard for him to make friends because of his appearance. At the age of ten he finally made his first friend. That same year however was the same year his life started to change. His father who was always around started to stay out more and more and his mother who was lively now became docile. One night his father came home quiet and stiff muscled as if someone tried to kill him. He went into Alex’s room and sat down by his bed side. Alex looked at up at him and his father spoke “son stay strong always.” Just then the lights flickered and went out. The room was filled with nothing but moonlight his father spoke again “I love you, live on Al…” before his father could finish he was lifted off his feet and thrown into the deep darkness of the hallway. Alex being terrified at what happened hid away in his closet holding back his tears and fear with only the faint view of the moonlight comforting him. The next morning his mother was sitting at the dinner table with three plates of food at the table. He approached her; his eyes yearned for his mother love and affection. She looked at him and picked him up. “It will be okay Alex I promise” she said with a smile. She reached over and grabbed a knife. “Just stay calm and don’t make a sound.” She put the point of the knife against Alex. Alex jumped at the feel of the knife elbowing his mom in the face and he darted towards the door. “Alex stop” his mother screamed “I don’t want them to get you too!” Alex ran into the forest entrance his mother in pursuit after him calling out to him. Alex ran faster through the forest repeating his father’s words “live on.” When he got to the end of the forest he looked around for the train station him and his father used to take to go to carnivals. He ran further out towards the road scared, angry, confused, tired, and hungry. He saw the train station across the street. He crossed the street stumbling from exhaustion and dehydration. His mother ran out of the forest and looked around for him. Alex hid within the crowd of people and boarded the train. Alex had no clue where he was going. He sat in a seat next to a man who had pepper Jack hair and a rough looking face. The man looked at him “what’s going kid?” Alex looked at him quiet and tensed up. “Don’t worry kid I don’t bite, what’s your name?” “Hungry.” Alex looked down. “Well that’s an odd name.” The man replied almost laughing. “Come with me and I will help you ok?” Alex nodded, he figured he had nothing else and if the man wanted to hurt him he would just run again. When they got to his place they sat down and ate. Alex told him his name but he was far too tired to re call anything. The rest of Alex’s stay with the old man was peaceful and he slowly became comfortable again. They moved to Japan when Alex turned fifteen and he began his job as a messenger to help with things.
