She snorted at their replies. It seemed her disappointment just continued to grow even further as she refused to roll her eyes at them. What was even Invidia doing? The District Head would be lying if she wasn't getting a little irritated. All these morons just barging in here and having such gall. But then again, they were Psyche-Terrorists, what else could she have expected from such petulant guests? She addressed the the armored Psyche-Terrorist with a bored drawl. "Really. You come all this way and the first thing you note is my appearance? Big words coming from someone posing as some chivalrous knight in armor. Good thing you have that helmet. I'm sure you wouldn't want to offend Milady's eyes otherwise."
And great, one of them seemed to be act like an actual hero unlike tin can over here. But she found herself chuckling at his accusations and questions. All these assumptions. What was this? Some kind of superhero movie rolling on with all these quips and self-righteous claims? It really did remind her they needed to axe that Ranger-something show. Too bad they just finished production despite some strange accidents. The woman shrugged her shoulders at Shotaro. "On the contrary, I am very proud. What I do here is to ensure and to maintain this City's peace and order through my work. And so what if a few sanctimonious aspiring reporters get a little taste of reality? The kind of reporting you want is a lie perpetuated by Hollywood from the start, a meaningless trope. Funny how even from the start of their little crusades, their aspirations are a sham. It's really pitiful, much like your ambitions to put a wrench into the natural order of this City."
She narrowed her eyes towards Wicked, but finally gave a sigh while shaking her head. But there was still a piercing light in them as she gave a disdainful gaze in her direction. "How utterly vulgar, I suppose it comes with the rebellious streak you dregs tend to have. My work is far too important for any sycophant or harlot to get their fingers around, but I suppose there's no point in even educating you. In the end, you're all here for me. Fine, let's get it over with. This will end before my secretary comes back with the evening coffee."

Wicked grinned wide beneath the shade of her hat. Yeah, she was totally pissing her off. It wasn't gonna happen all at once but it was gonna happen, she'd make sure of it. "Ha! I heard your work isn't the only thing you get your fingers around," the witch taunts, "Let us educate you on how it feels to bounce those drawn-on eyebrows off the ground." Wicked swept her arm for her ethereal handcuff to fly off and shatter, summoning her Persona. This time her attitude was completely different and she was actually composed for once. Patricia knew exactly what had to happen if this were going to end the way she wanted it to. So she talked mad shit, what of it? She was confident, not cocky, this was probably going to be a hell of a fight. But she wouldn't lose because that was impossible, she wasn't about to allow it to happen. And it all started with throwing their enemy off balance.
Wicked knew that out of all of them, Unison had to survive. Without her help they would've been dead 10 times over despite her own strength. Like, she could dish it out but she really couldn't take it. Unison was going to keep them alive. Bridgette Bishop sailed over to whisper encouragements into her ear.
"We're all counting on you! We're not gonna let some narcissistic harlot take us down, right?"

The chains shattered with ease this time as Ankou's guidance washed over him, staring down Superbia. This was dangerous...but he didn't really care about that. Their job was to defeat her, and he was not letting any of his normal nonsense ruin it. Appearances meant nothing. Actions did. That was what would make the difference here. Though it was hard to resist prodding if their opposition didn't realise that.
He lifted his blade and took up a stance, feet widening as the point came to face her. "Come now. I only note what stands out...or does not, as the case may be." He looked over, watching her actions carefully. "All the same...it is a knight's place to fight, above all else. And that is what I intend to do."

Soul Skill - Reaping Arms: Description: The target's weapon becomes a ghostly version of its normal form, changing its effect on those struck by it. Target's DEX attacks deal Dark damage instead of their normal damage type for the duration of the effect. Lasts for 3 turns. Cost: 6 SP Tier: 1
Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Romantically Uninclined —Description: "What? No, I'm not interested in anyone. If it happens, it happens, alright?" Cecil's interest in actively pursuing a relationship is very low, and he lacks any particularly strong attraction to any of the people around him. The chances of Cecil being Charmed are 15% lower than normal.
—Strength Name: A Desire to Change —Description: "This...this isn't good enough. I can do this. I want to do this! I just. Have. To do it!" There's many places Cecil's fallen short. Many places where he could do better. And despite his issues, he genuinely wants to better himself, and is more than happy to take any assistance offered in doing so. Buffs received by Cecil increase his stats by an extra 10%.
—Strength Name: Through Thick and Thin —Description: "I really don't have many good friends. Put bluntly, it sucks. So...I'm glad you're here. You put your faith in me. I'll do right by you." As one familiar to loneliness and misery, a good friend means more to Cecil than it might to others, and he has a deep appreciation for everything they do for him. It makes him a lot happier than he'd otherwise be. When Cecil receives healing from someone he has at least a Rank 3 Social Link with, he recovers 10% more health than normal.
—Weakness Name: Mounting Stress —Description: Beneath the surface, it bubbles away, a vicious cocktail of miseries and frustrations with his current existence. And he's no clue how to release them. Cecil lives with a persistent emotional tension that is often not so much relieved as it is pushed from perception. The chances of Cecil becoming Distressed or Panicked are 10% higher than normal.
—Weakness Name: Fleeting Highs, Crushing Lows —Description: "You know...I really have to be glad for the good times I have. It makes everything else a bit more bearable." As he is now, Cecil finds it hard to keep his mood up. The negativity is pervasive, that nagging awareness in the back of his mind of all that is wrong and the things he's done wrong, dragging him down further and further the longer he's in its grip. When things are bad, it just gets worse. Debuffs inflicted on Cecil reduce his stats by an extra 10%.
—Weakness Name: Broken Bottle —Description: It builds...moment by moment, the pressure builds. Higher and higher, pushing harder and harder...until eventually, the bottle breaks, and the shards fly like shrapnel. Cecil can't keep things bottled up forever. Most of his feelings are deeply suppressed, and when he's finally pushed far enough that his emotions are let loose, he gets overwhelmed from the tidal wave flowing over him. This causes him to pretty much break down. Badly. While Cecil is suffering from Rage, Panic, Distress, or Fear, he takes 10% more damage than he would normally.

Unison merely looked at Superbia she pitied her, she didn't realize she was being used, or...maybe she did? and she didn't like having to look at that fact so she hides behind her own mask of superiority, even her name reeked of compensation, and she only shook her head as she raised her hand "I truly pity you Superbia...." she said earnestly as a barrier rose in front of herself and all her allies.

"Brave words, yet I see no actual action. Very well, how about I show you how a true combatant wins?" And so with a snap of her fingers, all enhancements on the party would suddenly vanish like they were never there before. After doing so, her other hand would suddenly turn into a conduit, as the lights in the studio room flickered for a brief moment; her hand convulsing with lightning, which was then aimed straight for Gabe. She chuckled as whether the attack hit or miss, it was either going to show them that she had the strength to match, or it would intimidate them. Really they should simply run; they had no chance of winning.

Revenant steps in and lets the lightning wash over him, as it shoots for Shotaro, his face screwing up in pain beneath the helmet. If that's how she wanted to play, then there were always other plans. "Well. You wield the about the force of the rabble outside. Congratulations on requiring a basic effort." Shotaro clenched his teeth, expecting to be hit by that lightning blast. However, he was happy to see that his comrade stepped in and took the blow for him. Wicked wasn't really concerned for Revenant or Shotaro as the lightning struck, but this time not out of apathy. Like... they got this. She wasn't worried at all, this bitch was gonna eat carpet and not in the way she's used to. "AAAAHAHAHAAAIIIIEEEE!" the witch cackled at Superbia, "Talk shit get hit, slut! BOOOOOM ahahahaaaaa...!" Wicked wiped a tear from her and held her hand aloft, the handcuff dropping from her wrist to the ground to shatter. "Wheeeew, hokay, let's get some ass-kicking instructions I think." Bridgette Bishop appeared behind her to manifest a crystal ball in her hand, and the witch lobbed it to the center of the room. It hovered feet off the ground as light shot out from it, creating telling constellations of exactly what Superbia was capable of. And what she absolutely despised.

Unison watched the events unfolding, as her barrier was simply dismantled, a lot of things seemed to do that lately, only recently actually, but in the end she simply decided that for now the barrier wasn't very useful, so to that end she decided to simply heal the injured Revenant as the chains swirled around her and the lock formed, releasing as she gently touched it and the chains unraveled as a pawn stepped out "See to his wounds" she said as she gestured to Revenant. The paw simply Saluted as it then rushed at Revenant and nearly tackled him to the floor as it began to wrap him in bandages from head to toe, thankfully as always they simply absorbed into his body and healed his wounds, The pawn then saluted and vanished once more.
All the while one Pawn stayed behind gently Fanning Unison with a paper hand fan

"Haha. It must be worthwhile to put your efforts to me. It would be such a shame if you could even touch me. I think it's time we change our channel." As her figure began to shimmer, the area around them began to shape. TVs would vanish and instead lush green trees would replace them. The harsh smell of nature would fill their nostrils; it was as though they had transported to an actual nature documentary. What they didn't realize at first as that while they would see a change in their abilities, the same would be said for Superbia herself.
Sukukaja | Raises one ally's Agility by 30% for 3 turns. | 6 SP | Tier 2
Turn the Dial | Changes the Channel. | N/A | N/A |
The Nature Channel | All Elemental attacks are boosted 50% in strength.

Revenant said nothing, but he was paying attention. The entire landscape had shifting, and he felt powers that...tell the truth, he couldn't wield. But he remained wary, all the same. There was no telling where else they would find themselves.
