Wicked stood perfectly still as the attacks came her way, crashing against the shield in front of her and causing it to crack. She hadn't even attempted to move. Instead she was breathing heavy, shuddering breaths. Her mind was screaming at her to get aggressive, her body wanted it too. Patty's conscience didn't. She told them she'd chill. They didn't get it. She wasn't going to be the problem child, someone's mess to clean up after. Like they could ever understand, none of them are going through this. They don't have a right to judge. The witch clutched her throbbing head, bowing it and throwing out her free hand for the handcuff to shatter once more, whining silently to herself in pain.
Bridgette Bishop flew to the side of the knight, but unlike all other times for all other people she didn't have any sweet words to say. Instead he'd experience the other side of encouragement. Manipulation.
"Better not diiiiieeee agaaaaaiiiiiiin. You better appreciate what we're doing for you right now. Do you know how much pain you're causing her...? It'd only get wooooooooorse..."

...what? "Get. Lost." The words are muttered through gritted teeth before the witch fades away.
He should have known, really. He probably did. He just didn't think about it. ...why would he? He would have doubted Wicked'd care that much. Just how bad off was she? How much of this had to do with the persona that had just set these questions in motion.
Hack & Slash | Inflicts a small amount of Slash damage twice to one enemy. | 8% HP | Tier 1
Mamudo | 20% chance of instant death from the power of Darkness to all enemies. | 12 SP | Tier 1
Stagnant Air | Increases all allies' and enemies' susceptibility to ailments and light/dark spells by 20% for three turns. | 5 SP | Tier 1
Dark Arts | Moderate physical slash damage with a 20% chance of instant death through Mudo to a single opponent. | 16% HP | Tier 2
Sukukaja | Raises one ally's Agility by 30% for 3 turns. | 6 SP | Tier 2
Soul Skill - Reaping Arms: Description: The target's weapon becomes a ghostly version of its normal form, changing its effect on those struck by it. Target's DEX attacks deal Dark damage instead of their normal damage type for the duration of the effect. Lasts for 3 turns. Cost: 6 SP Tier: 1
Relevant Strengths/Weaknesses:
—Strength Name: Romantically Uninclined —Description: "What? No, I'm not interested in anyone. If it happens, it happens, alright?" Cecil's interest in actively pursuing a relationship is very low, and he lacks any particularly strong attraction to any of the people around him. The chances of Cecil being Charmed are 15% lower than normal.
—Strength Name: A Desire to Change —Description: "This...this isn't good enough. I can do this. I want to do this! I just. Have. To do it!" There's many places Cecil's fallen short. Many places where he could do better. And despite his issues, he genuinely wants to better himself, and is more than happy to take any assistance offered in doing so. Buffs received by Cecil increase his stats by an extra 10%.
—Strength Name: Through Thick and Thin —Description: "I really don't have many good friends. Put bluntly, it sucks. So...I'm glad you're here. You put your faith in me. I'll do right by you." As one familiar to loneliness and misery, a good friend means more to Cecil than it might to others, and he has a deep appreciation for everything they do for him. It makes him a lot happier than he'd otherwise be. When Cecil receives healing from someone he has at least a Rank 3 Social Link with, he recovers 10% more health than normal.
—Weakness Name: Mounting Stress —Description: Beneath the surface, it bubbles away, a vicious cocktail of miseries and frustrations with his current existence. And he's no clue how to release them. Cecil lives with a persistent emotional tension that is often not so much relieved as it is pushed from perception. The chances of Cecil becoming Distressed or Panicked are 10% higher than normal.
—Weakness Name: Fleeting Highs, Crushing Lows —Description: "You know...I really have to be glad for the good times I have. It makes everything else a bit more bearable." As he is now, Cecil finds it hard to keep his mood up. The negativity is pervasive, that nagging awareness in the back of his mind of all that is wrong and the things he's done wrong, dragging him down further and further the longer he's in its grip. When things are bad, it just gets worse. Debuffs inflicted on Cecil reduce his stats by an extra 10%.
—Weakness Name: Broken Bottle —Description: It builds...moment by moment, the pressure builds. Higher and higher, pushing harder and harder...until eventually, the bottle breaks, and the shards fly like shrapnel. Cecil can't keep things bottled up forever. Most of his feelings are deeply suppressed, and when he's finally pushed far enough that his emotions are let loose, he gets overwhelmed from the tidal wave flowing over him. This causes him to pretty much break down. Badly. While Cecil is suffering from Rage, Panic, Distress, or Fear, he takes 10% more damage than he would normally.

Unison watched the two, Wicked was clearly holding herself back, and Revenant was...well it seemed he was frustrated, Unison would need to have a talk with the two of them, it was becoming clearer and clearer to Unison that these two had low self esteem...but handled it in different ways, for the time being though she raised her arms in a defensive posture as the one Pawn continued to fan her with the paper hand fan.

Everything sucked. Her head hurt, she couldn't do what she wanted, and she was making people mad. But she wasn't gonna flip out, it'd just piss everyone off again. She couldn't do this. Patty couldn't be locked down, it didn't work, she couldn't do it. Then it's time to stop. Like, all she wanted to do was to have fun. She'd show up and blow everything to hell and it'd be awesome, like superheroes or some shit but then it got serious. She didn't sign up for serious. Serious wasn't her game, she didn't wanna fuckin' play. Then we won't. Wicked couldn't even freakin' focus on combat, y'know, things trying to kill her? It was even more dangerous if she held herself back than it was running into fights. At least when she got into fights she could control it, she knew what she was doing. They didn't think she did but it didn't matter what they thought, she did, she really did know.
Let go. Just let it all out. You'll show them how strong they are, that they NEED you. And you need... this.
Droplets of blood dripped from her nose down onto the tile as Wicked finally lost her composure, giving into the violence around her, joining it, being zen with the FUCKIN' violence yo! "RrrrrRRRRRGH FUCK THIS!" growled the bloodthirsty witch as she took off in a dead run straight at the Horde. Just like last time, lightning arced upon the ground up toward her and she stepped out of the way at the last minute. She could feel the static electricity on her coat. She felt it running through her veins. THIS was why she was here, THIS is what it was about! But instead of laughing like a crazy woman she was still incredibly damn PISSED OFF from earlier. Fine. If she couldn't have fun then they couldn't have mercy. She got in close range of the Horde enough to make sure she didn't miss, and without even doing it herself her warped Persona appeared next to her with icy daggers to send into the target. She began to circle behind after the attack. She'd fucking show them. She'd show them what happened when she got serious. Serious Patty wasn't fun Patty, and she'd scare the fucking shit outta them.

He cut into the horde. The horde cut back. Turning aside the second swing of the scythe, the demons raked across the barrier before Revenant, and with the lightning that had followed after it, the protective field was no longer looking strong.
The really concerning thing, though, was the blood and yelling. ...this was why she'd gotten that bottle, he was sure. Something was causing this, and this was what they were meant for if he had to guess. If only he might convince her to at least see if they'd help.

the attack struck her shield and it held strong as she looked to the others to see how they were fairing and it seemed their shields where holding out at well, so with that she simply continued to hold her defense for the time being, to keep herself ready to help when needed.
