The loud crashes and crunches got louder as Grubby staggered back. As did the pounding in his mind. Soon the ringing in his ears grew louder than the sounds from the car...
A loud soul shaking ringing that shook his very core.
From this came a voice, his own voice yet not of his conscious mind.
It spoke to him, and prepared him for what came next, as the back end of his tram car was torn open and the fight for his life began.
The massive construct before him was known as a Builder, they were a common sight in Junction. Often creating new pathways through the ever changing Slums... Though more often then not they were about a standard unit long and kinda cute. Some people kept them as pets! This was was over twenty standard units long and let loose a horrendous screech as it charged Grubby.

The floor shakes beneath me like a goddamn ship on the sea as whatever the fuck wants to learn what a gob tastes like tears at the whatchamacallit. Thinkin' I may be outta my league here, at least with nowhere to go. Back in the day somethin' comin' down a tunnel wouldn't be no problem, just lay some traps, shoot at it an' run backwards. Easy greasy. But I got no damn traps an' nowhere to fuggen run to. This damn bow gauntlet better pack a punch cuz whatever it is it's gonna need a damn hole in it. The ground's rockin', my heads fuggen poundin' an' things are lookin' grim. Only regret I got is not castratin' that fuggen jagoff what before he jumped outta the damn place.

My head stops hurtin' the more that unseen asshole keeps talkin'. Told ya there was fuggen ghosts in this place that know my name, an' everyone called me a goddamn moron. "Yer fuggen funeral if it don't."
"I already est- Wow no wonder you don't have a lot of friends. Just shoot the thing already, we're not getting any less dead if you let that thing cut us like wheat."
Motherfucker steps back behind me, crosses his arms like he's judgin' me. None'a this makes no fuggen sense but when the fuck did it ever? Sucks bein' fuggen dumb I tell ya. But I'm smart at one thing an' it's killin' goddamn monsters. Guess what motherfucker? Giant scorpion's sure as shit a damn monster. I got job experience here. I brace my hand on my arm and get ready to let fly. Really takes me back here. Just like old times... damn I miss Orgnar, that inbred muscle freak.

The enemy hasn't targeted Grubby yet, his Backstab Soul Skill is in effect.
Soul Skill Name: Backstab Persona Name: Kesson Rel Tier: Tier 1 Cost: None Type of Damage: Passive Description: "Never any such thing as a clean fight. You get in, hit'em, and get out, but you hit'em hard and you make damn sure you hit'em so hard they never get back up again. Use distractions, get in close, and go for the little nook under the ribcage."
Grubby's all too familiar with striking an opponent's vitals in combat and due to his size and strength this is really the only way he can bring someone down. Kesson Rel is a representation of this roguish training: one who's familiar with anatomy and where to hit someone to get them to drop. Of course, you can't backstab someone if they're looking straight at you.
If Grubby has not been targeted by an attack or skill on the enemy's last turn his critical hit chance is increased by 10%. In PvP this critical hit chance will apply if an opponent cannot tell exactly where he is when he strikes or is engaged in any distracting task that will take focus away from Grubby.
Action:
Grubby fires his crossbow (Sniper Rifle) at the Builder that he charged last round for 10 Dex Gun damage. It ignores 10% of Pend and this attack has an increased 20% chance to hit and crit.

Tearing down the wall of the tram with a mighty crash, the Builder would take a quick scan of the tram before its eyes locked to Grubby and shone a bright blue. It would screech suddenly as it lowered its body both to avoid the shot and to prepare itself to attack.
It was near impossible to tell what then shot out of the robotic creatures tail, but whatever it was, it was cold as ice.

Sonuvafuggenbitch that thing's quick fer a fat fuck. Big lard ass lobster like that shouldn't be able to move so fast. I grit my teeth an' work on reloadin' but 'fore I can get my damn mitts on a bolt the fuggen thing splooges all over me. Some kinda freezin' fuggen cold bullshit, makes my damn butthole pucker. An' it fuggen hurt like a bitch, too! I move toward one'a the seats fer cover an' a 'lil warmth so's I can plot my next move when that goddamn gothic jagoff appears standin' next to me an' throws an elbow on my shoulder.

Then he's fuggen off. Now this asshole bounces off the edge of the watchamacallit an' does a few of them girly flips in the air 'fore landin' right before the damn thing. Takes off like a scared dog runnin' a knife alongside the underbelly a that thing.

Fast to notice things, fast to move, fast to get the hell out or fast to draw yer piece. If yer slow yer gonna be slow forever cuz yer gonna be fuggen dead.
Grubby's occupation and life experiences have honed his precision and reaction times, giving him a +10% Luck bonus.
—Strength Name: Git Yer Head Down! —Description: I dunno if anyone ever told ya this, but bein' friends with a wizard is a dangerous spot to be in. Even if he's on yer side just one mispronounced word and kablooey! No more stinky gob. Slingin' fireballs here, lightning bolts there, whole place is covered in a gatdamn snow storm for some reason, there's sheep every fuggen where... You learn to keep yer head down or lose it.
Grubby has first-hand experience with attacks that hit wide areas and has learned the hard way that they hit hard and they hurt. Grub has a 10% extra chance to dodge AoE attacks by ducking at the right time. He also has a slight advantage in dodging out of the way of traps that he triggers using the same experience.
—Weakness Name: Dumber'n a Box o' Shit —Description: So I got a friend named Hilderbrandt the Luminous 'n he's one o' them wizard magic folk. I know, I know, he picked it himself, I get my digs in whenever we're out havin' a pint. But yeah, he's the one that's good with the spells. I ain't even know how to read. You ain't need to read to stab a man in the gut anyway.
Grubby isn't skilled with the intricacies of magic, technology, or even that chain of logic that leads one to be capable with those tasks. True to his word, he also can't read. Grubby's PMstr is decreased by 15%.
—Weakness Name: Bad Back —Description: I been in the game a while, kid, and these old bones ain't gettin' any younger. Every time I get up in the mornin' sounds like a herd'a cattle are walkin' on acorns. When I bend down 'n pick somethin' up y'hear a crack like a whip. Holy fuggen Azmodeus I need to retire.
Grubby's an older goblin and isn't as spry as he used to be. If Grubby gets knocked down in battle he loses his Quick Old Bastard Strength and gains a 10% Luck penalty until the end of the battle or until a healing skill is used on him.
—Weakness Name: Newfangled Pieces of Crap —Description: So's I see I'm the only one totin' around a bow here. Everyone else got fancy schmancy iron boxes or wands or whatever the fuck that go "pop" and shit dies. That's swell, real fuggin' swell. You can dodge an arrow, catch it, bat it away, ya had options. How the hell do I compete with "point and go boom"? That shit ain't natural.
Grubby is easier to hit with Gun attacks by 10%.
Action:
Grubby uses his Cutpurse Soul Skill on the builder to deal 22 Slash damage (15 x 1.5 for Tier) on the giant scorpion.
Skill Name: Cutpurse Persona Name: Kesson Rel Tier: Tier 2 Cost: 15% HP Type of Damage: Slash Description: "Sometimes fightin' ain't about puttin' holes in another motherfucker, sometimes it's about gettin' a leg up on the competition. Give and take, ya understand? And if they're givin' you a hard time cuz they got better stuff, might as well fuggen take it. Ain't no such thing as fightin' fair."
Kesson Rel performs a lunging slash at a single target, dealing moderate Slash damage as he attempts to steal something from them with the same fluid motion. When Grubby uses this attack in PvS he rolls 2d6. If the number matches he gains a stolen item from the enemy as dictated by the GM.
In PvP and Dynamic PvS (and wherever else applicable such as QAS and dungeon traversal) if this move lands on a target Kesson Rel can take an item being openly worn or carried by the target (but not currently in their hands) and port it into Grubby's hands or pockets or take an item that Grubby is in possession of and reverse-pickpocket it onto a target without their knowledge if they have no way to oppose him (being outclashed, a Strength that can prevent theft, Strength to notice the reverse-pickpocket and remove the item quickly, etc.). The opponent will always get a chance to oppose the action when the attack connects, it's never an auto success. Grubby can choose not to deal damage with this attack if he's just trying to pickpocket/reverse-pickpocket.
In PvP this won't steal something from another player's Inventory but instead will deny the opponent the use of that item for the remainder of combat.

The Builder would spark and churn, horrific metallic noises filled the tram as the mechanical beast shoved itself back to its feet after taking some heavy and unexpected damage. Despite its lack of sentience, it seemed as though the Builder took a moment to think its strategy through before taking on a different approach.
Build l Inflicts a small amount of Strike Damage to one enemy, has a 10% chance to inflict the Trapped Ailment. Trapped cuts the afflicted luck in half until they are hit again | 5% HP | Tier 1 - Target Grubby

After slamming down, the metallic constructor took a few paces back and simply watched as its opponent downed whatever was in that vial. Unnervingly staring, completely motionless as if it was confident enough to have a good fight.
That was, until the vial was empty. Despite not moving, the creature had plenty of time to aim another frozen attack.

Every time I get up in the mornin' sounds like a herd'a cattle are walkin' on acorns. When I bend down 'n pick somethin' up y'hear a crack like a whip. Holy fuggen Azmodeus I need to retire.
Grubby's an older goblin and isn't as spry as he used to be. If Grubby gets knocked down in battle he loses his Quick Old Bastard Strength and gains a 10% Luck penalty until the end of the battle or until a healing skill is used on him.

Everyone else got fancy schmancy iron boxes or wands or whatever the fuck that go "pop" and shit dies. That's swell, real fuggin' swell. You can dodge an arrow, catch it, bat it away, ya had options.
