| Cassiel would sigh gently, sitting down on the ground and leaning his head gently against the wall of a club. He could hear the music vibrating out from the confines of the enclosed space. The beating of hearts, adrenaline as they danced. Some were even getting down in other ways... Cassiel could feel it all well up inside of him, it made him hunger to be one with it, to escape everything and disappear into the nothingness of blissful music, dance, and carelessness.
He couldn't though. He wasn't yet strong enough to engage in such an activity. The event that happened had rattled him, broke him in a way he didn't know if he could fix... His parents were trying, that much was clear. Those horrific machines that became one with him... It felt like a violation of his person, though, he was supposed to little more than an assistant in his world... But here was supposed to be different, no?
He'd huff, rising to his feet before shortly walking away. It was a bit too much effort to try and be enclosed in those emotions but also be dragged down by his own emotions. Empathy was a strength of his, but it also made it difficult to use as an advantage when he wasn't up for it.

| It was one of those days for Thane. Incredibly dim and moody. All those thoughts and memories piled up on him and kept falling down, suffocating him. He spent most of the day just walking. Where, he didn't know. He didn't even feel hungry, or any other need. Apart from the need of getting away from his own thoughts. He vaguely remembered people telling his other self that if he ever feels down, he could talk to them, to put his mind at ease. This Thane had no such luxury. He wouldn't willingly talk to anybody about such a problem, anyway. However, he did develop a certain technique, that he knew could calm him, even if only temporarily. When Thane finally dared to look up from his ever-moving feet, he found himself surrounded by loud noises and bright colours. The noises came from buildings and people alike. Thane felt like he could say the same about the bright colours. With a light shrug he walked past a particularly bumpy club, of sorts. He assumed that nobody will mind, if he danced on the side of the pathway. He made no eye contact with anybody, just noticed some silhouettes, nothing more. The gnawing in his head was growing almost painful; he had to get away. He was thankful for his ability of being able to dance even in his full set of armour. Luckily for him, he had enough wits about him before his departure to leave the greatsword behind, just in case anything happened. The dance of choice was quick and simple. It was a dance that Thane's other self learned on his travels in the far east of Hydaelyn. With his choice, he would begin his dance, until his feet would give out. | |

| He'd stop for a moment, even in Junction it wasn't every day one would find a man clad in armor dancing effortlessly like he did. He supposed it was a performer of some sorts, however Cassiel knew better than to take things at base value. He was clearly in distress about something, what exactly he couldn't really place. Just because he knew one's emotions didn't mean he knew what was causing them. One could be happy but that didn't mean Cassiel knew why.
Regardless, with a gentle sigh he'd gently walk over to watch the man dance. It seemed rude to interrupt him, he seemed entranced with his own movements. Perhaps he'd want to talk after? He really didn't know... A Virtue devoted their lives to the betterment of others, to help them reach their fortunate fate and avoid their horrific doom. Well, he wanted to do that anyways...

| His motions were fluid, armour clanking here and there. Thane momentarily lost himself in the movements. His mind eased a little bit, but his subconscious suddenly gave him a warning tug. He was being watched. Whether it was good or bad kind of being watched, he couldn't tell. Regardless, it would probably be better if he established that information, so that he could dance in peace.
As the dance ended with swift pose, so did Thane's legs, armour giving a last clank. Almost immediately he noticed the person who observed him. They seemed like a young man, with vibrant hair. Thane was sincerely hoping that they weren't expecting a full conversation, as his mind probably wouldn't be able to process it. The tall Au Ra would take a shaky breath and run a shaking hand through his messy hair. "Can I.. help you?" He would ask in a strained voice, looking at the stranger.
