Spritz n' Dip [Thane & Onyx]

It hadn't been too long since he got stuck in this place. It was quite tough trying to accomodate himself to this new life that he was forced to have, but he was making progress, nonetheless. The weather wasn't that bad that day. It was indeed slightly warmer than Thane would have liked it to be, but all he had to do was find shade, until he could venture out to explore under the faint rays of the sun. The weather being as it was, he decided to go full casual. A plain black t-shirt and equally black, slightly torn jeans.

As he explored around, Thane avoided as many looks as he could. People had the tendency to search for whatever bumped into them. He had no trouble fighting through the crowds. His height and broad shoulders plowed through them with little to no resistance. He still had to be careful of random signs and people's companions, though. After his walk through the busy streets, Thane came upon the part of Junction that belonged to the Bio Domes. There were several different Domes, but he instinctively chose the one that he felt like would provide him with the best form of relief - the Aquatic Bio Dome.

According to the staff, if one wanted to venture underwater for adventures, they would have to be able to breathe underwater or wear a suit to make that possible. Thane made a sleeky exit after he got that piece of information, deciding he should try and find a more secluded space around the water surface.

He wanted to try something. Or rather, clarify. Thane's other self received a blessing from one of the beast tribes and it allowed him to breathe underwater. /"I wonder, if I have it... Or if it works here at all."/ Thane thought to himself as he found a good enough of a place to try his theory out. A rather rocky beach-esque place with crystal clear water. Thane would take off his black trainers, leave them on one of the flat rocks and roll up his jeans on both of his legs. He would slowly step into the water on the shore, getting deep enough for him to be comfortable and still stay dry enough. He would then bend over and stick his head into the water.

As a precautionary measure, Thane made sure he held his breath before he dunked his head into the water, in case the blessing didn't work. He had his eyes closed for a few seconds, before he slowly let go of his breath, releasing a few bubbles. However, when he tried to breathe, it came naturally, as if he was just breathing regularly. A wave of relief washed over his mind. /"Thank you."/

After a moment Thane pulled out his head from under the water surface and stretched his back. Even though he picked a picked a spot of water high enough to be under his knees, it still took him some effort to bend that far. He shook his head, water spraying around him. He ruffled his black and white hair to appear slightly less messy and turned around to head back to the rocky shore.

At first, he didn't notice a figure standing near some rocks, scattered along the shore. He stepped out of the water onto a flat rock, when he felt a tug on his thoughts, telling him to look. He turned his head in that direction, finally noticing the outline of a figure that was seemingly observing him. A frown formed on his face as the tall Au Ra called out. "What do you want?"

Doing an odd thing. Thane definitely thought that it was indeed an odd thing to be dunking his head into the water for seemingly no reason. He resisted the urge to tell the stranger off, instead he settled for a sigh. "Greetings to you aswell." He would reply and pick up his trainers that he left behind on a flat rock. He decided to leave his pants as they were and stay barefoot. Although the scales that covered portions of his legs didn't cover the bottom of his feet, he didn't mind the rough surface he was walking on.

Thane took a few steps towards the stranger, taking a better look at him. He was definitely shorter than him, but his skin had a similar colour disposition, in a sense that it was sort of unnatural to some and quite monochrome aswell. Thane's faintly glowing eyes quickly took in the stranger's appearance and he could only guess that the other was doing the same.

His other self had no issues trusting strangers. One had to start somewhere. But for him, it wasn't that easy. He was almost absolutely sure that the stranger meant him no harm, but he... he just needed time. "This place is quite far off. Are you looking for something?" Thane would ask, with a slight frown on his face.

Strange things happening around the current area...? Thane couldn't tell. It was his first time here and he definitely didn't see or have something wierd happen to him. The wierdest thing that happened around here would be arguably Thane himself, testing the deepwater blessing. The situation did intrigue the Au Ra, though. !I see." He would say as he quickly put his trainers back on.

The frown disappeared from Thane's face as he crossed his arms on his chest, replaced by a visage of curiosity. "I can't say that I will be able to help you at all, but what happened?" The prospect of an adventure filled him with fire that only a person who has no ties to any land or any people can feel - an adventurer to the bone. Albeit quite twisted now.
