Ah the sweet smell of video games on the weekends, or at least it would be if video games did have a scent. It was an arcade filled to the brim it seemed with nostalgic video games that have stood the test of time ranging from the old Simpsons Arcade game to a personal favorite: Initial D. X-Men and War: Final Assault were also stashed in here, but I wasn't sure which one to start with. Making my way through it, I had a major nostalgia moment seeing a line for Initial D. Just like when I was younger, it was still the same it seems, no matter how old I would get, or how old they would get. A machine with this much greatness would surely stand the test of time, and perhaps one day I could get one in my own home. However, I needed one first before I could even think about it hehe.
I sighed though as I headed over, reminiscing so much about my younger days when I was just a wee lad about yay high. My card though needed an upgrade since they got a new version in, so I put my old one up for a placeholder behind two other people. I wondered so much how old I'd be and still have a desire to play this, perhaps I would on my death bed. It'd be on my bucket list or something like a last request before I left this Earth behind: to have a machine or two right next to the deathbed. I chuckled at the notion, believing that wouldn't happen, or better yet the machine was my deathbed. I chuckled as I waited, the line moving quickly for just 2 spots on the machine I was waiting on. Another one was in use by more though, so it made sense for me but it moved faster it seemed. Taking my seat, I upgraded my card to the newest version as I chuckled a little on the inside. Time to take it for a little spin.
