| The ice was shattered, and Pen was hit. He was momentarily left on the ground, before standing up. "...you know. I just realized something. Your trust for me? That's all Bull. You can't even trust yourself, can you?" He shook his head. Boogeyman once more appeared behind him. Though, this time Something seemed off. "I'm sorry you think you have some control over me Dean, but honestly, you couldn't be further from the truth." Boogeyman's hand glowed a bright blue, for a moment...before he spun, sending a shockwave at least the size of a car in length towards Esra. It was fast, but still, if she had a way to dodge it, it was possible. Pen on the other hand, was prepared, having rushed forward to close distance as much as he could, ready to follow up with a powerful swing of his sword regardless of if Boogeyman's attack had hit or missed. If his sword attack missed too...well. He'd deal with that when he got to that point in time. - Attack:

| The attack was a close range, it slammed into Esra. It threw her against the alley wall like a ragdoll, being hit by a car flashed across her brain. It should have killed her again, part of her wished it did. It hurt, not as much as it should have done, she wasn't crushed, her organs were not jelly and she was still breathing. It wasn't the only hurt though, that he couldn't see her. Esra Dean lived her life almost alone, she never asked for help, she always looked after herself. Then when she was scared, so scared she thought she was insane she found someone who offered to help her. Someone that despite how she was, how bitter and twisted seemed to actually want to help her. There was a hope there, one she was afraid to grasp for, one she had forgotten about. Its light was disappearing, he was the one that was snuffing it out. She had hoped that maybe, they'd work this out. She was so sure he felt the same way. Yet. No was no way, however much she wanted it, she could ever join some gang, let alone terrorists. She was too weak a person for that, the horrible person it turned her into. You don't give an alcoholic an open bar, you don't give an egomaniacal murder the means and drive to operate without law. If it was what he wanted then, she wouldn't stop him. Yet, you don't decide the rest of your life in an instant. Did he want to give up being a writer, go on the run for the rest of his life? For what? A voice in his head? What kind of friend was she? The one that wouldn't let someone she cared about destroy themselves the way she did. If she had a friend like her as a child, she hoped to hell they'd kick the shit into her back then. Rolling her shoulder as she stepped away from the wall just an inch Esra watched his charge. There was a wall behind her. A soft white shroud wrapped around her once again, warm, it wasn't kind. A bitterness to it, her Persona wanted her to suffer. To be able to take the hits and feel each one. Still, it was enough. Esra waited for him to close the distance and swing the oversized blade, waiting for the moment he committed to it before dropping to her knee like a shot, hoping the hear the sound of metal on brick she pushed off like a dart from both ground and wall. A single step in between and she rose up and without a moments pause, slammed her forehead against his. "I don't trust myself, I hold myself back every day. You make your choices, just remember there are consequences you can't see." Her voice was cold, sad, angry. She could have stabbed him, punched him, kicked him in the testicles. Esra was looking him right in the eye. (Drama assumes contact, if you want to evade I'll edit.) Dia | Recovers a small amount of HP (30%) to one ally. | 4 SP | Tier 1 Action: Headbutt - Status:

| Pen grabbed his face, not feeling particularly effected one way or another by the headbutt. He took a calm breath, before dispelling his weapon. "...Goodbye, Dean. I think that told me just about everything I need to know about you...that and I think Boogeyman's about to try and kill me, so you know, I'd like to get to a secluded area." Pen left it at that, before simply darting away into the night...or something like that.

| Esra didn't move for a long time. She had tried, tried her hardest and he still wanted to throw his life away. Strong enough to take everything he could throw at her and still he would rather take the lie of protection someone else offered. Was she really so twisted?
That she could think of someone as a friend, as close as she could come and they discard her so casually. Moments before she had thought him dead and she, this was why she tried to bury everything so deep. Her eyes welled and her fist thumped against the alley wall, it wasn't fair. Could no one stand her? Would everyone always run away at the first chance they got? Was she right to hate everyone, it was hard to argue right now.
Dazed she staggered away into the night, her legs taking her where they will. While she walked her brain did what it always did, cut itself to peices to try and remove as much hurt as possible. It was like being drunk, it didn't last as long though. Esra found herself as, herself again. Tried, not scared any more, lonely, but not wanting to stab herself in the chest.
She was not one for talking about her problems, even she knew what happened was, big. Rebooting her mind put a conection together and before she knew it her phone was in her hand. It was late, very late but he was the only person that might understand a little. Goofy redhead with story that didn't stack up. It seemed obvious now.
It was a demon right? In the woods. I'll be at Tojima Park in LT tonight.
