| "Hmmm... It seems that this would be the optimal place to start work!" The artist would say with a nod of her head, placing her drawing pad on the bench near her. She wanted to get a good feeling for her environment before finalizing an idea in her head. She was an artist, after all, and she wanted to express her feelings perfectly. She'd wait as people would walk out of sight from the view she was trying to draw inspiration from.
The buildings in front of her just... Seemed different to her, somehow. A large skyscraper surrounded by other, smaller buildings and skyscrapers. It even had a circular road going around it as if it led the tide of traffic. It made her eyes twinkle at the sight. Something huge, important, and strong that was the center of all the buildings around it and even the cars! It tickled her fancy seeing something she aspired to be. The center of all the eyes around her! Maybe her art could do that... Hm.
Regardless, the artistic girl would slowly start her drawing as she envisioned the tall skyscraper in brilliant reds and purples, the smaller buildings a concoction of yellows, whites, and greens. She drew the cars as people, all of them looking skyward at the building. And, lastly, she did something odd. She drew yellow roses creeping up the 'important' skyscraper. Thornless, but beautifully bright and vibrant yellow roses. With that, she had finished her drawing. She'd happily smile before placing her pencils back into the small box she had been carrying around. She'd sit there though for a bit, looking up at the skyscraper with a small smile. It was amazing...

| "Zzzzzzzzzz.....Zzzzzzzzzzz..... Zzzzzzzzzz" The rhythmic sawing sound that the young artist would have heard sense the beginning of her drawing session. It would almost sound and feel like the bench she had been sitting on was vibrating ever so slightly. It wouldn't be enough to alert her or anything, but it would be just noticeable enough to feel when it stopped. "HRm... erg.... Ah... Y-YAAAAAAAAWN! Goooooood nap..."
Harvey would stretch under the bench and crack his backs slgihtly before crawling out from under it and rising to his full imposing height. While yes his yellow suit would be crimped and crickled a little from sleeping in such a weird place, a few quick swipes with his hand to smooth them down and get the dried leaves and dirt off would have him right as rain. However, he would notice the woman and her art, and no doubt the odd look she was giving him"Uh... Hi... Nice uh, art..."

| Malfus - NPC Strangely Malfus was used to this kind of thing, his owner often went out somewhere like this in the middle of the day to take a nap. The bird found it bizarre how much sleep his owner needed each day but always appreciated him doing so outside so that he could explore a little in the mean time. After waiting for about ten minutes perched on top the bench where Harvey was sleeping, Malfus decided to take a look around the area to see if there was anything interesting he could find. Maybe someone interesting to watch or maybe some food that someone had dropped and left on the floor? Though the bird was free to go wherever he wished, able to fly off and head in any direction as far as he wanted at any given time. Malfus had the strange urge to fly up high to look back at the bench where Harvey was sleeping once every so often between searching for things. The fairy wren really cared for his owner and felt like it was his job to protect them when they were asleep. Plus he wanted to make sure to notice as soon as possible if his owner woke back up again. After a while, the blue bird became bored of watching the people around the area. No one was seemingly doing anything interesting and as far as he could spot there wasn't a crumb in sight anywhere on the ground. Instead he'd take perch in a nearby apple tree and start pecking into one of the many apples that grew there, still darting his head back and forth between what he was eating and where his owner slept every so often. No sooner had the small birds owner started crawling his way out from underneath the bench, Malfus would quickly finish pecking at the apple before fluttering his way down to perch on his owners shoulder, hopping up and down clearly glad to see his owner awake once more. "Tweeeet~" | |

| She did indeed feel the vibrations, but she didn't pay it mind. It might have simply been the crowd of people around her or the likes. She finished her picture with ease regardless, though once the intimidatingly tall man showed up aside her, she'd question what exactly what had caused the vibrations her bench had been making...
"U-Um... Thank you, sir!" she'd say with a quick snap out of her confusion and into the normal rhythm of her charming personality. She didn't like looking scared or confused, it made people withdraw from a conversation. She wanted them to be comfortable around her, so that meant treating everyone the same.
"Oh, is that your bird? He looks so pretty!" she'd comment enthusiastically as the bird perched itself on the man's shoulder. She personally didn't really know if that bird was tamed or not... But, she supposed it'd be fine either way. Right...?

| "Hm?... Oh hey Mal... how ya been buddy? heh... Sorry I guess I was just a little tired this morning... And you know how I like a good nap in the park heh..." Harvey would say wearing a warm smile as pat Malfus gently between the wings with one giant finger. "Aw shoot... I just remembered I was talking with a client before I took my nap. Dang, there goes that case..." Harvey would sigh before taking a seat on the bench, momentarily forgetting about the woman and her art. The bench would groan under the giant's weight, dipping slightly around him. He would let out a mighty yawn before turning his attention back to the girl beside him.
"Oh... Sorry uh... Yeah, thank you. This is Malfus. He's my little... lit...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz" Harvey would stop mid sentence as sleep overtook his mind once more, but no sooner had he fallen asleep, did he wake back up and continue his sentence "Little Birdy Buddy. Say Hi Mal. heh... Wanna pet him?"

| Malfus would raise his wings and lower his body slightly as Harvey scratched him between the wings before letting out a joyful tweet then begin pecking playfully at his owners ears. He'd been bored for some time now and was glad to see that his owner was finally awake so hopefully something interesting would happen, it was only when Harvey began talking to the other girl present that the small fairy wren would even notice they weren't alone.
Tilting his head slightly to the right, the bird would examine the girl closely to see if she posed any sort of a threat to him or his owner. Although she didn't seem to be giving off an signs that she was about to attack so the blue bird quickly became more relaxed and began just tugging at his owners hair instead. Unaware of the fact that Harvey had just given the random girl permission to pet him...

| She'd smile as the rather large man talked to his bird like he was some sort of close friend. While she didn't initially enjoy his switching attention so quickly like that, she knew people cared for others. That was just how people worked, and so she'd say very little during the little exchange before forming a question.
"A case? Are you a detective, perhaps?" she'd ask with mild curiosity in her voice, choosing to ignore how he almost broke the bench just by sitting on it. How much did he weigh? He was, like, a fat person but with pure muscle instead. It was quite terrifying when she thought about it..."Malfus? That's such a cu-... U-Um..." She'd blink twice, unsure as to how to approach this situation correctly. He literally fell asleep within the middle of his sentence! At first, she thought he had just forgotten the right words, so she went ahead and tried to make small talk as if the ordeal ever happened... But, no, he literally just fell asleep... And then woke up as if it never happened! Her composure was a little shooken, she hadn't been placed in a situation like this before... But she'd do her best.
"Oh, that's so nice of you. But I don't want to scare him... Is it really alright?" she'd ask with a little bit of nervousness in her voice. She had never actually touched a bird before... Let alone one so small as this one. She'd honestly be afraid to hurt the poor thing yet... He certainly didn't seem to have that problem...

| "Hm?... No no... Nothing as interesting as that... I'm a lawyer. Working for small firm down town actualy... Oh... I'm supposed to give you my card or something, right?... Right." Harvey would let out a large booming yawn as he reached into his wrinkled coat pocket and grab a few ironically pristine cards. His lumbering tired hands would fumble with them for a moment before handing one to the young artist"Best... Best representation in...in our pricezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz range." The large man would offer a small smile along with the card.
"I'm sure it's alright... Mal is a little protective of me but all in all he's a friendly bird long as you're gentle with em..." Harvey would lazily reach up and cup Malfus in one large hand and pluck one of his hairs with another. He would give the tiny bird the hair and slowly hold him out to the young woman"Be slow and careful... He'll let you pet him if you do it between the wings and softly..."

| Malfus would tweet happily as if he understood what was being said when the girl complemented him on looking cute, in reality it was just the fact that she had said it in a slightly higher pitched voice which the bird understood as usually being a thing humans did when they were trying to show affection. Most of the time anyway. That or when they were scared... Yet she didn't look scared? Confused, maybe. Although it was obvious why, the small fairy wren would give a quick tug on his owners ears to try and drag him back awake before hopping up and down gently on his shoulder.
The small blue bird would tweet in slight confusion as his owner cupped him up in his hands and held him out towards the girl. Malfus would look at the girl with his beady little eyes, tilting his head one way then the next to be sure not to miss anything if she tried any sudden moves. He wasn't all too sure what his owner was planning, but if he trusted this girl... So would he, for now.
