Alright everybody we appreciate the feedback from earlier. Staff has come together and settled on a new proposal we would like the communities opinion on.

In the old system, it was practically a word per vc, and the maximum you could obtain was about 5k.

However in the new system, you gain about 3 VC per word, and the new limit is 3K VC instead of 5k VC. Instead of requiring 5000 words to obtain 5000 VC. The proposed system would make it easier for most players for to fit in work threads and obtain a decent amount of VC. Requiring only 1k words to obtain 3k VC.

The VC does not stop there however. As Players will be eligible to obtain small "tips" of 10% each one based on the quality of their writing. The Three Tips are Grammar,Quality, and Cooperation.

Grammar applies when the thread is written well and neatly, and meant to reward players with a small bonus for neatly conveying their work thread.

Quality applies when the player has succeeded in writing an interesting work that is entertaining to read and well written in terms of story.

Cooperation applies only to group work threads, and is applied when the parties involved manage to write a well thought out and Cohesive story.

The Intention is that the tip system will not make a large difference but will be a small bonus to players if their work suffices fo rthem.

Kindly Vote on here in Favor of whichever Option you may prefer. The New System, the Old System, or instead keeping both and allowing players to choose whichever they want.

Obviously the new system. There was never a time that you was getting 5k outta me for just five grand. Yes, you write what you make, but that shit is exhausting. No more having to store work threads like an underage gerbil in leep year.

Now we can focus on rping with each other or something.

Great job team! Kick the old system to the curb!

I like the new system even if I voted to keep both (because I write a shitton and like more VC). It fits a lot smoother with the Time of Day system and instead of being something that eats up your time a thousand words is very accessible and requires more participation than actual work like the system before it.

That being said I do have a small concern and that would be with Group Work Threads. There is a tip system in place that can give VC to cooperating parties, but since players split up their VC even if you're making max VC off it it's still just under 2k. Since it's not hard anymore to reach the VC cap (you can do it in a post, I've written SL posts longer than the Work Thread cap) there's virtually no incentive to do Group Work Threads anymore.

If possible, would it be a good idea to implement a way for both players to get the full VC amount, either by just giving them the VC without splitting it or raising the cap of Group Work Threads to 2K to cash out with? I think it could encourage players to interact with each other more and some players are more creative when they have someone to bounce off of instead of off in their own little corner just writing by themselves. It'd be a good way to reward RP as well.

But that's, like, my opinion, man.
