The Banking System

What about a banking system?

In the plots, players can potentially deposit their money into a bank account persay, and store/withdraw their VC in/from a safe storage area. This would allow people to store their VC seperate from their person, and to top it off we could do a +5% interest per month on their account even.

I don't see any reason why not to have this, it is pretty sensible given the plots take place in cities and the like.

I don't think that would work for us psyche terrorists because the banks are evil. Ooooh, spoopy banks!

I think the best question I can ask is this: what's the point? Why not just carry it on your person? It's not like there's a randomizer every five day cycles that makes you at risk of losing X amount of VC because it fell out of your wallet or something. lmao

I guess it could be useful if enemies were using money-stealing skills, but I haven't seen any do that sort of thing, so I honestly don't know why it'd be safer to put our cash in these banks. Maybe other players might beat you up and steal your money, but if that happens then I'm pretty sure most of them will just go the extra mile and kill you too, so it's not like it's gonna do you a lot of good unless you can transfer VC between characters. Hell, if anything it'd be counterproductive: I can definitely imagine someone putting their VC in a bank and not having it on them when they die and need to pay the fee for dungeon escape or whatever.

As for the interest aspect, it seems to me like a cheap way to earn VC while sitting on your ass. Not that I'm complaining, more money for me ayyyyy.
