Maverick vs Fido (Breezy For Realzy)

With his muscle shirt and sweat pants on, Maverick poured water on his face, and begun stretching. He got into a readying position, and full on sprinted through the park. His blood was running high, and his face full of powerful, aggressive determination. He knocked a few people out of the way, some calling "hey" or "ass hole". Than he stopped. It was only 15 seconds. He kneeled down to catch his breath. He gulped some of his water, the bottle slightly crushed from his grip. After a few minutes of resting, he got up for another run. Once again he made his readying position, and went even faster than before. He heard someone yelp from his far right, and deep a deep "WOOF". Next thing he new there was a canine running next to him, barking loudly and angrily. "What the fuck!?" Maverick suddenly stopped, and the dog did the same. Th dog stopped. Two relentless animals held their ground. Maverick didn't notice how many people in the park were staring, watching, and recording with theirtheir phones. "Maverick kneeled down and picked up a stick. "Come on you little punk bitch!" Maverick waved the stick around, to see if the dog would follow its motion, reverting it's attention away from Maverick. The dogdog was dead set on Maverick. It lunged at him, and the next thing he knew, Maverick was furiously swinging, smacking the dog in the head. It bit his sneaker. It protected his foot, so it didn't hurt much, giving Maverick the opportunity to smack at its head. "Stop hitting my dog!" he heard a voice say. FUCK YOUR DOG!" Maverick continued to his furious bout with his canine enemy.

It was a nice day to be out at the park. It seemed like such a waste to not go out on a day like this, it was a shame Natsu was busy with... Whatever it was he was doing when she left the house, something to do with spirits or something. He was such a strange boy but he did keep her life interesting she could say that much for sure. To be honest he probably wouldn't of liked it out here anyway, there were way too many people about for his taste, including...

"U-uhm..." Arctic would watch in confusion as a crowd gathered around a man fighting a dog. Some people were so heartless... Why would you just stand around and film it instead of going in there and either stopping the dog from attacking the man or stop the man from beating up the dog. She hadn't been able to see enough to see which of the two were at blame, but she really didn't have a clue what else to do in this situation besides stand and watch in bewilderment.

Maverick continued to whack the dog with the stick. She had a lot of pain resistance. As he poked at it he glanced over to a young woman screaming at Maverick to stop. She wore girlish revealing outfit, and a light blue diamond encrusted leash. "You stupid bitch, come get this stupid bitch!" She wasn't listening. The dog backed away and only start to angrily bark. It was loosing interest. It chased after a younger girl, and barked angrily at her. Maverick reached in his pocket, and pulled out his pocket knife.

He wasn't sure if what he was about to do was to save the girl, or he just felt like killing something, but he knew that this was a mad dog that needed to be put down. He jumped on top if it and, yielded back the knife. The owner screamed "Stop, no don't kill my dog, don't kill my dog!!" He drove it deep into its neck, and heard it's last whimper. "Dead dogs woof no tails."

"W-wow..." Would be the only thought in the white haired girls head as she watched the scene unfold in front of her, she hardly believed what she was seeing. Sure some dogs were a bit savage but she had never seen something like this before, especially with the retaliation the man was giving as well. That was the moment when the dog started running in her direction. "Gah!" She'd practically scream and try to jump back, shielding her face with her arms from anything the dog may have done to her, yet instead of the expected pain... She instead heard the pained whimper of the dog?

"W-wha... What the hell..." Arctic was practically speechless as she looked back to see the man had literally stabbed the dog through the neck with a knife. "I... I..." She didn't have any clue what to say. I mean, a thank you for saving her would be one thing... Y-yet she didn't feel that this manner of saving her really deserved a thanks... Instead she simply took a step back in fear, her face was pale at this point and her eyes wide with shock.

Maverick got up and dusted himself off. He heard a scream from behind him. "YOU MONSTER! YOU SON OF A BITCH! PINKY! YOU KILLED PINKY!!" Boy does she sound pissed. Maverick ignored the assault of the lady, with her purse. He shoved her away, holding back the rage to smack her across her jaw. She was later held back by other people, who clearly saw that the dog was a menace. He went to consult the much younger girl who was almost a victim of a Dog attack. "Are you alright? Dog almost had a bite out of ya, love." Maverick looked around to see a police arrive. Took long enough. Maverick wasn't sure if he should have ran or not. He decided to stay put, and wait for the officers to approach.

"U-uhm... I'm fine... Thank you." Arctic would reply softly, it was true that the dog did look as if it was going to attack her. And if these were the only two options she was glad he came to save her before the dog could do any harm to her... She just kinda wished it had been done more in a more civil fashion. The white haired girl would take a long breath in before breathing out again to try and collect her nerves before talking again more stably. "Thank you." She'd repeat with a slight bow of her head. "I, uh... Definitely wouldn't of been able to fend off that dog on my own."

Maverick smiled a wide smile, feeling his ego inflate largely. As long a you are alright. The cop approached Maverick. "What happened?"
"That bat-shit crazy dog came out of nowhere while I was on my sprint. It started to attack me, so I fought it off. It was going after this girl until I had to put it down. Maverick turned to see the dog owner being fined. He and the cop looked at the owner. Maverick smirked at her. The look of hatred and disdain was intense. She scrunched her face at him. "Do you want to press charges?"
"No it's fine." Maverick already got to kill a dog, no need to add insult to injury. The officer moved to question thethe young lady.

Arctic would watch as the police showed up and came over to find out what had happened, she was still a little startled by the whole ordeal and wasn't quite sure what would be best to do. If she should just carry on her walk or stay here to see what happened next. Yet it was quickly shown that her choice was made for her as the police officer began questioning her about what happened. "U-uhm... W-what he said was true, at least the last part was. I didn't see the beginning of the whole situation but the dog did look like it was about to pounce right at me just before this man saved me." She'd explain, kind of hoping she wouldn't be questioned further. It was unnerving to have to explain yourself to a policemen.

"Is that all officer?"
"Yes. Have a nice day." Maverick was relieved. He would have considered this exercise to be ruined, but hell, he got to kill a dog. That was pretty cool. Maverick cheesed to himself. He picked up his bottle and gulped more water. He thought it was about time to head home. He walked away from the scene, feeling the everlasting burn of the stare by the dog owner.

A pretty good day.

"H-hey! Wait!" The girl would call out suddenly as she realized the man who'd saved her was walking off without another word. As much as he'd kinda scared her with his ruthless way of dealing with the situation, she still felt as though she wanted to at least know the name of whoever it was that saved her. "S-sorry, but... I never caught your name?" She'd ask timidly, hoping the man wouldn't feel her question was being too rude or anything.

Maverick took another swig of his water. "Name's Maverick." He had no interest to talk to a girl who wasn't of the age to click the heals of Jesus. Look, I have to go. Stay safe from any viscous canines, love. Bye. Maverick wanted to leave as quickly as possible. It was already getting dark. He worked out, saved a girl, (even though he can't/wish to have sex with her) and killed something.

Not a bad end to a day.

"Maverick? W-well, thank you again Maverick." The girl would say timidly, clearly catching on to the fact the man didn't really want to talk to her. "My name's Arctic, I'll try to repay you sometime for this." She'd add before stopping following the man and watching him walk off... W-well, that wasn't quite what she was expecting to happen on her walk today. But at least she came out of it unharmed...?
