"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am." Batilde replied with a light smile, which would shortly turn into a look of slight confusion about her statement of Crepes. "Um... You sure about that? I'm pretty confident we don't have any murderous crepes around... unless people eat them so much they die because of a lousy diet." Where was this girl getting this weird information from? Unless of course, she did what most kids did, making things up to seem funny or something. "I guess...? I mean, people do often associate romance and relationships with my home country. Oh yeah, and wine's another big thing too. Not so sure about the crepes. And I wouldn't say magical, but it is rather nice to live there."

"Hm... Well, I bet it'd still be nice... Not as nice as I thought it'd be...But still nice..." Ashure had a hint of sadness, but she was still smiling and randomly licking her cup of coffee as if she were in a good mood. "What or who gave you the terrible idea to come live here anyway?" Ashure set her hand on her chin in a questioning gesture.

"It's not bad, that's for sure. It's pretty much like any other first-world country." Batilde replied with a light shrug. Was it any different? Of course. Every country had their own things that made them stand out. It just wasn't entirely obvious what it was when everything around you becomes the norm. "Well... I wanted to study abroad, and the school here had a pretty good reputation. That's why." Of course, there was a little more to her decision than those few details, but the french girl wasn't about to divulge any more information on the subject. Some details she'd like keep to herself for now.

Ashure tapped her cheek, making a 'tink' sound, each tap was in unison with the rest of her movements, her chest moving in and out to emulate breathing was each fourth tap of the same second intervals, her leg tapping being every other tap, and her blinking happening a second after the end of the breathing emulation. The same breathing emulating was happening opposite of hers to X, this was also including when it's ears would twitch, and it would blink. "Well that's boring, you should change your story, maybe you're fighting an ancient beast or evil, you're given the power of the gods to purge evil by summoning a transvestite out of your head by cutting your throat, and that said ancient evil came here to attack a helpless little girl with dog ears and a tail! Now you must protect her while secretly falling in love with her! By the end of your adventure together, it turns out she doesn't return your feelings and she was only using you to have very intimate nights with your transexual brother/summonable beast hidden inside your throat!" By the end of the story Ashure was once again standing in a pose, part of the story as if it was real. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more interesting, non?~"

Well... this girl really had a vivid imagination. The things that fell out of her mouth did come out naturally too, as if she was almost serious. The rhythmic tapping noise didn't seem to bother Batilde much though, as she was too focused on what the girl was saying to really give anything else much thought.

She took a light sip from her cup before setting it down on the table again, taking a deep breath before replying with a light smile. "You really have an active imagination. And yes..." Interesting was certainly a word that could be used to describe what the girl had been saying. Strange and crazy also fit the descriptions well. "I guess it's... interesting. Not that I'd like to slit my own throat." Not that her story was... far from the truth. It certainly wasn't accurate, but she had been fighting off evil with a spirit that resided inside. Or... at least, that's what Batilde thought Astrape was. A Spirit, or something along those lines. The two didn't exactly see eye to eye most of the time. Fortunately for Batilde, her Persona rarely spoke much. "Also... uh... Why Transexual...?" What even was that stuff? This was a term she had never heard of before. But, she could probably make a pretty accurate guess based on the term alone. Was it gender-swapping? Because Tran- in transexual could be standing for the word transfer or transport, which... yes. That made sense. Someone who wanted to change their gender. Made sense. "And I'd... rather keep my throat intact, spirits or not."

"It's art! You're not slitting your throat literally! It's symbolic of a lost voice, your feeling of never being heard, how you're too soft spoken to open up, as if your voice is going up your throat, but being blocked! By cutting your throat you let that voice out to say whatever you need or want!"

Ashure pointed her finger in front of Batilde, her face and eyes focused right at the tip of her hand.

"Let your voice emerge! Whether it be a love for pudding! Your love for ms. mysterious dog girl! Or your love for France! Have a voice!" Ashure's voice quivered with a true sense of caring, yet her eyes glared up from her finger towards Batilde as if she was kicking kittens or something.

"Ms. Batildy Baguette! I want you to yell as loud as you can that you have a voice! Now tell me, do you have a voice?! Ashure's voice boomed through the cafe, it was truly a prolific wonder that she hadn't been kicked out yet. Near Ashure's cup X also was into the motivation, jumping up and down waving it's ears as if it was cheering Batilde on.
