| "Gah..!" The Shadow would brace himself for another kill rush heading his way, but this one had much more power than usual. Hitting him full on, the attack must have hit a vulnerable spot, because he found himself being thrown back onto his back. Sitting up, he'd attempt to regain his footing, leaving himself wide open for follow up attacks from the Attendant. Atleast his defense had returned back to normal, but that didn't help seeing as he was completely defenseless at the current moment. When pounded down by the blades of wind, Shadow Naito found himself finally feeling the real damage, begin ripped up and tattered from the attack. Once it was all done, he lifted a hand and waved it to himself and the Attendant. Picking himself up from the floor, the Shadow would stumble forward before catching himself with his blade by stabbing it into the floor. For once it appeared to have taken battle damage, with torn garments, cuts upon its body, and a bruise on its back. "To think I'd lose to you again. Well, that's alright, I had a feeling things would turn out this way. This was just a test of your resolve, and you passed. I'll give you the full power you rightfully deserve. Just remember, I'll always be by your side. And when you begin to falter, I'll return to challenge you again. You're me, and I'm you, so you know I won't stay down forever. If you grow incompetent, then your life is forfeit!" The Shadow of Naito gave one final taunting smile before hovering into the air and beginning to crack like the Fragment of Soki before him. And just like that, the Shadow would shatter into shards of glass before disappearing and truly becoming one with Naito Tsurinai. Though it appeared nothing had changed at first, the broken palace began to fix itself, and the numerous portraits with his face carved out would be replaced. Even a change from within his own soul would occur, as the birth of a new power became present, and a new Persona was now forming within his mind. Naito had overcame the ordeal he was put against, and thus proved himself capable of calling himself a true Persona-User. Once all was said and done, a blue door would appear before Naito and his Attendant, giving him a quick passage back into the Velvet Room. Once they would exit this world, it would shatter never to be entered again.- Shadow Naito:

Strapped to its right wrists are chains connected to two coffins that he carries on his back. He usually holds a blade in his left hand that resembles Naito's own O-katana. The Persona looks like it is a mix between a demon and a human, maybe emphasizing Naito's inner struggles with his own pride and hostility towards his incompetent fellow man.
Persona Background: Baal is a Semitic title that means Master or Lord. While it can actually refer to a large number of different deities, Baal, or Bael is used to describe high ranking demons in Christian mythology. Shin Megami Tensei depicts Baal (or Bael), one of the principal kings in Hell, ruling over the East. Some sources cite Baal as a duke, with 66 demons under his command. The word ba'al was also used in the Hebrew Bible to refer to any number of local spirit deities worshipped as cult images, and in this context they were each regarded as false gods.
It should be noted that the god of rain, fertility, agriculture, and thunder and the lord of Heaven we commonly refer to as Baal was actually called Hadad, and the name Baal is used as a substitute in some texts and in common modern usage. This is probably derived from the fact that, in ancient Canaan, only priests were allowed to utter the divine name, in much the same way as in Judaism where only priests were allowed to utter the name of God (YHVH), so common people simply referred to him as Baal.

Description:
In a single motion, Baal rushes the opponent and opens one of the coffins he holds on his back. The coffin creates a strong suction that pulls the opponent/s into its black abyss, and once sucked within, it locks. In this time, Baal removes his massive sword and strikes through the coffin, causing it to explode in a miasma of darkness causing Tier 4 strike damage to all that were captured in the attack. Attack has a 50% critical hit rate.
Tsurinai Naito took a deep, well deserved breath, as the Shadow shattered into glass and his inner mind returned to its peaceful nature. Looking towards Chance, the silver haired teenager would give a smile before placing a hand on their shoulder. "Don't tell anyone what you saw in here, or I'll kill you." He spoke with a slight chuckle behind his voice, as if he were playing around, before closing his eyes and shaking his head. "Thank you for your assistance, Chance. Perhaps having help isn't so bad, is it? Atleast when it comes from those competent enough to do battle with the likes of me. I hope you're by my side when I make my declaration to Limbo's spoils." Naito nodded to his partner before walking towards the blue door and opening it without hesitation. Awaiting Chance to leave first, he'd follow behind his attendant and would close the door. Finally this ordeal was complete, and his inner self had found its home. [WOO - EXIT] | |

| Chance gave a feint nod as s/he left the palace that seemed to be fixing itself. It was truly amazing how many wonders the world held that the Attendant had yet to witness. Though s/he would never admit it, there was a slight yearning for adventure in his/her soul that never seemed to rest. But, alas, Chance would perish the thoughts. After all, their life was dedicated to the guests, and only the guests. So then and there, s/he would continue on their way back within the Velvet Room without glancing back once.
