Lance smiled as Tatum finally caught up, fully expecting to have to deal with some complaining when she realized she had lost. The begging wail he got instead caused him to laugh, though as he began his after-workout stretches he gave the plea some serious thought.
"Idunno, I was older than you when I started to learn parkour," he mused with an uncertain tone. "Also given how I haven't met your parents or anything... Doing the kinda parkour I do is pretty dangerous, especially if you're not all that experienced, so if something happens to you I don't want to have to explain that to 'em."
Still, he didn't want to leave the girl hanging.
"If your folks don't mind, though, I wouldn't either. I love gettin' out on the town." He offered, standing back up and pulling his phone from his pocket to check the time. "It's probably about the time where they should be heading home, isn't it? What would they say if you weren't there, huh? Need me to run you back, or you got it?"

| Yikes! My Parents! I haven't thought about that! Ooooh, but I really want to learn this Parkour thingie that he speaks of! Ooooh, how to go about this?! I can't ask my parents, then they'll know that I've been sneaking out! Oh... what do I do?! Wait, did he say something about the-"ACK! Time! I didn't realize it's been this late! I gotta get home, finish up my chores, study, get ready for Dads phone call, so much to do, I gotta run, I'm glad I got too meet you! I am hunting you down for another race as soon as I get better!" Apparently that was a rather round-about way to say that she was able to handle it. Thus, with a rather enthusiastic wave, she made her run back towards the metro. Then she realized it was a mistake. "Ow, ow, muscles aching, ow..." she cried out. Then she stopped and turned back to Lance the Crow before chuckling an embarrassed chuckle. Well, she was still in ear shot, right? "I'm serious! I'm gonna try and catch you again for another race, so you better be ready!" she called out. "I aim to steal all of your techniques!" With that she... wobbled(?) her way back to the metro. [Exit] | |
