"Step right up! Step right up!"

As people pass, the young man attempts to persuade them to come closer, perhaps with a smile or a silly twist of his features. Most give him a laugh, a shake of the head, and leave when they spot the pink and white banner arching over the entrance to the hallway. Some approach him and ask how the kissing booth works, and he directs them to a booth outside where tickets are available. Some, however...

"U-Uhm, is this...?"

The pink ticket in the young boy's hand is all he needs to give a nod. "The kissing booth? Sure is. What's your number?"

He starts, then jerks his head down to read. "O-Oh, uh...ten."

"Awesome." May God have mercy on this boy. "Alright, see the numbers on each of the doors?" the proprietor gestures down the currently vacant hallway and the long line of doors, each with a number tacked to them. The boy nods. "Just go into the room that matches your number and give your ticket to the person inside. When you're all done, just go to the other end of the hall and they'll lower the ropes to let you pass, alright?"

The boy only gives a shaky nod before he practically sprints past, and the young man is left standing there wondering if the customer was actually excited or just too nervous to walk properly.

"Well SOMEONE is in a hurry."

The walkie-talkie on the young man's hip crackles to life, speakers practically dripping with sarcasm. With a roll of silver eyes, he raises the device up to his mouth to respond. "The kid is like 13, Casper. Cut him some slack."

"Julian, we were fucking daredevils at 13. He has no excuse!"

"You were also the one who got slapped at the junior high prom for being too quote unquote 'excitable.'"

"...Touche. ...Hey, is that another one?"

Blinking away from the walkie-talkie, Julian looks up.

Next customer...:

The break from her kissing booth duty was very welcome. She needed a bit of a break from everything concerning her booth, and this time actually look around the vicinities for anything interesting... and what do you know. There were kissing booths freaking EVERYWHERE. How people had not grown tired of doing this non-stop astounded her, really. Well, seeing as Batilde had been hosting one herself, she thought it would be wise to at least check out the 'competition' as it were. After looking around for a bit, nothing really stuck out to her, as a lot of them were either super-occupied with a lot of guests, or just didn't try to get any attention at all. Perhaps they were scared of kisses? It was a rather daunting thing, all things considered, and it took a bit of courage to go through with it, as Batilde experienced first hand with Miyuki not too long ago.

There was one booth, however, which caught her attention instantly the moment she passed by. Two guys were actively looking for people to join their massive kissing booth. Not only was the sheer size of it remarkable, but the two boys were quite eye-catching as well, not just because of how they looked, but also how the two acted, being seemingly very close friends. Because of this, Batilde slowly walked towards the booth, only for the blonde to take notice of her. "H-Hi~!" Batilde replied to the two gentlemen in an obvious french accent, approaching them. "Is this your booth? Wow." How did this thing work anyway? It was organized differently from any of the other booths she had come across thus far, and her expression mirrored this slight bit of uncertainty and confusion.

Oh, Cas was right. Julian pocketed the walkie-talkie and fixed the girl with a warm smile. "Not my booth, technically. It's kind of just the main kissing booth we've been setting up all this time. Have you seen the other stalls outside?" He'd pause to let her answer.

If she said no, he'd comment that there were a lot of kissing booths outside.

If she said yes, he'd nod.

Regardless, he continued on. "All of those volunteers we asked for was to kind of buy us time until this huge booth was finished getting set up. You wouldn't believe how long it took to clear out these rooms and this hallway." After chuckling lightly, he tilted his head curiously at the girl. "Do you have a ticket for the booth already, or were you interested in getting one?"

"Oh, believe me, I have seen 'em, alright." Batilde replied to Julian with a light chuckle. How could she not have? They were everywhere! Apparently this was pretty popular... And Batilde kinda got why. her kiss with Miyuki had been something special.

"Haha, yeah. I can imagine. This must've taken a lot of time to organize..." All she knew was that Destiny was involved, somehow. Had she organized this thing through and through? Or was there someone else pulling the strings? Either way, Batilde responded to Julian's question with a quick nod, showing him the ticket. "Mhm. Number 25! It's... not someone scary in there, r-right?" Her voice suddenly turned a bit nervous. What if there was some creepy guy or girl on the other end? Ewwww... Gross.

"Twenty-five?" He glanced over the ticket, seeing the number on the front and nodding in confirmation. "Great! Just head on down to room 25. You'll give your ticket to the person in there, and when you're all done, just head to the other end of the hallway. Casper down there will let you out." Julian gestured to the very end of the hallway which had a long, thick rope blocking the way. Another figure stood at the very end. When Julian made his gesture towards them, they waved. "Alright. Go on and have fun!"

Julian would step aside and allow Batilde to pass, bowing lightly and offering her a playful wink.

"Thank you, Bel Homme~!" Batilde repllied to the kind gentleman, blushing a little at the playful wink before she marched on towards her destination. Room 25. On her way there, a bunch of thoughts swirled around her head, everything from who it could be, and what this would be like. Miyuki had been one thing, but... This time, she'd be the visitor, and not the host/hostess. It was... an odd feeling for sure.

Once she reached the door labled with the number 25, Batilde knocked on the door lightly, before opening it, taking a peek inside. "B-Bonjour..." She would say meekly, shuffling her way into the room, and taking the seat right in front of her now would be kisser. Lovely...

Volunteer #25 - Claire

"Welcome welcome welcome! Hey, don't be shy. I'm not that scary, right?" The young woman grinned at Batilde, crossing her legs and leaning forwards. "I'm Claire. And what should I call your pretty face, huh?" She extended a hand for a handshake, her smile widening.

Batilde waved shyly at Claire, sitting down in front of her, and shook her hand with trembling fingers, returning the smile with mixed look of happiness and nervousity. She had not expected to meet someone so... beautiful. Was this even right? Oh, dear... How would this even go? "Uhm... My name's Batilde, madame Claire." She replied nervously, fidgeting in place. She wasn't going to leave however. She was commited now. Backing out would just leave a sour taste in her mouth after meeting someone this nice. However... how would she even go about this? It had been one thing when Miyuki had asked, but Batilde was... not really the one who made the first move. In social scenarios overall, she lacked alot of confidence. Something which this lady had in abundance. Oh dear....

"Ooh, you're got really soft hands. Fitting for a nice girl like you." Without missing a beat, Claire gently took Batilde's ticket from her and dropped it in a small bucket behind her. She then turned back around to her customer. "Alright, are you ready?" Her hands found purchase on the other girl's shoulders, and she leaned in close, not even six inches away from Batilde's face.

Claire would wait until Batilde gave a nod or some other sign that meant everything was A-okay before she closed the distance. Her lips fell a bit above their mark, and in a couple of seconds Claire was pulling back, laughing despite the awkward pink tint to her cheeks. "Heh heh, whoops. They should've given me training on how to kiss a pretty girl without messing up!"

Rubbing the back of her neck, Claire sat back in her chair, smiling sheepishly.

Batilde's cheeks flared up in an instant at the little flirty remark about her hands. Were they really that soft and nice? She wasn't terribly used to compliments, but she could handle them in doses. This on the other hand was an obvious flirty one, and Batilde wasn't really sure what to think. Her heartbeat grew faster and faster by the second, before she finally spoke up, a warm smile playing on the girl's lips.

"T-Thank you, Madame."

She slowly looked up at Claire once she perched her arms on Batilde's shoulders. This was actually happening! "Um... Yes..." The french lass said timidly, awaiting for the woman to kiss her... and kiss her she did. Sure, she missed the target by an inch or so, but that didn't stop Batilde from returning the little kiss with one of her own. Once that was all done, the two looked at eachother for a moment, both equally flushed by the situation. "N-Nonono! It was fine, Madame!" Batilde replied honestly. Her slipping up was cute in it's own way. Perhaps that had actually been intentional? Either way, Batilde would bid farewell with a quick hug before taking her tickets and leaving Claire to whomever was her next subject.

"So this is the main booth, huh?" The girl spoke to herself while starring at the pink banner, she appeared to be rather calm about this but after what happened earlier that day made Kira Kira reconsidered her choices a few times... but now that she was standing right before the booth, it was too late to back down.

"Yo!" She'd greet the black haired dude near the booth. "So i just go inside and get a smooch, right?" After that the girl was directed to a room matching her number... a bit too much for something as simple as a kissing booth if you ask Kira... it does add some suspense, so it serves a purpose. "Uh... Sup?" She greeted whoever was inside the room before sitting down on the chair.

Volunteer #2 - Lia

"Hey." The woman gave Kira a bright smile as she sat down. "Hm...the ceiling?" She allowed herself a small laugh before shrugging slightly. "Nothing really. You're my first...uh, customer for today, so that's exciting!" Despite her bold words, the woman seemed somewhat at a loss as she blinked at Kira. If that wasn't enough of an indication, she had pursed her lips to the side, looking at the girl in obvious thought. "Do I just lean in...? Is that right? Or should I sweep in from the side...?"

"Heheh, didn't expect that one." She smiled back at the green haired lady, she seemed like a nice person and looked really good looking, Kira Kira was feeling she got really lucky with this whole kissing booth deal. "I dunno, you're the one running the booth, so i'm all yours, beautiful." The girl winked at the green haired woman while grinning and trying to contain her laughs, but despite the joke the compliment was genuine. "Can't keep your next 'client' waiting so let's make it quick." Kira would lean forward and wait for Lia to act.

"Oh, you're right!" Lia's eyes grew wide at the thought of the possibly long line of people waiting outside. How could she hold up the show like this? Sheesh, that was a close call...and on her first customer too!

Drawing her lips into a thin, determined line, Lia quickly leaned in, nearly bumping noses with Kira before she paused for a moment, unsure. The hesitance only lasted a second before she brushed her lips against the other girl's in a fleeting kiss.

"Phoo! That was exciting!" having sat up rather quickly, Lia was free to fan herself with one hand and take Kira's ticket with the other. "Whoops, almost forgot your admission! Can't have you sneaking into the show twice now, right?"

After Kira said her goodbyes, the booth would be free for the next customer...
