LIP: Local Investment Plan [Newman and Selenus's kissing booth]

Newman was patiently awaiting his next customer when the blond girl came through the tent's entrance. At first Douglas thought he'd hooked himself a new customer, but soon realized upon looking at the girl that she was the one in charge of all the kissing booths. "Hey there." He'd greet the girl. "What're you doing all the way out here?"


"Oh, well thank you for your concern." He'd say as he took the water bottle from her hand and opening the cap. "Thanks." After drinking two or three swigs, Newman would wipe his mouth with his handkerchief and put the cap back on the bottle before putting the bottle on top of his make-shift table. "Yeah, everything's been going smoothly! Just had three customers in here not more than a minute ago."

"Hmm... I don't think we've been properly introduced." Newman would comment as he stretched his hand out to the woman, offering a handshake. "Douglas Newman. Pleasure."

    "Three in one minute?" her eyes widened and her free hand trailed across her collarbone. "My, you've certainly been busy." Three in one minute? That was...impressive. Even some of her more successful booths for the day hadn't had quite that many in so little time. Perhaps because there were just so many people to choose from? They had a lot of volunteers on-site, plus those who'd agreed to come for this particular event...

    Oh well. The more people, she reasoned, the less time she'd be spending at the booth for her shift. Anything to lessen her time there was a blessing.

    "Non, the pleasure is mine." she smiled politely, taking the hand he offered and shaking it gently. "Destiny Endeux. Thank you very much for volunteering your time today. As thanks..."

    Releasing Newman's hand, she reached into her skirt pocket and pulled out a small stack of tickets, counting them quickly and quietly before handing them off to Newman with a smile. "The ten tickets you've earned, plus the extra for your four customers."
