"Woo!" Callie would cheer with a light spin to face her friends again. "Battle completed~! Team Awesome 2, Team Badie's 0!" The girl would happily give her friends high fives once again before giving Zavie an odd look. "What ya mean Zavie? We won! We didn't even get hit that time, there's nothing to worry about!" Looking up, Callie then noticed that the old man had finally reappeared. "What took ya so long pops? The fight was over before you even got here!" She'd giggle jokingly, she wasn't trying to be rude, she just liked to tease. "The name was Teeellloss, right? These are my friends, Zavie and Grins!" She'd explain, realizing the two of them hadn't introduced themselves yet, pointing to the two along with saying their names. "We work together to keep each other safe! We can keep ya safe too if you can actually keep up this time~!" With a quick signal to the others, Callie would then like before dart off further into the arcade. She always seemed to have infinite energy, and she just hated standing around when there was a game to be played!

"Dead ahead Cals, these lot are getting closer and closer together! Makes our job of findin'em a lot easier, eh?" Terra chuckled as they approached the next group of shadows. As long as he could keep her calm and collected, he had seen the sorta power she has. He was sure they'd be able to handle anything lurking in this arcade! "Now then, how about we show 'em what we're made of? Nehehe!"

Telos was not happy that he had missed it. He had spent too long on system hiatus, and it showed.
"Yes, I-" He said, only for the little girl to run off to her friends. The little boy's name was Zavie, the clown, Grins. He would also ask them questions later.
He watched the girl take off towards the next set, and he sighed and rushed after her.

She just gave away their names to a complete stranger! Jeez... Could she be any more frivolous? Though... She seemed to just think this was all a game or something... It being in an arcade after all. Though, maybe he was just connecting dots that didn't exist? After all, she had obviously cried a bit in their last battle... Maybe she was just putting on a brave face for them.

"You should seriously be more careful, Telos. If you keep doing dumb things, you could get hurt. I am not a miracle worker..." the boy would say with a huff before chasing after Callie. It would do to leave her alone. Proxy brushed his mind gently, something about the man rubbing her the wrong way. She had hard faint stories from the corners of the shadow world... But, he seemed too dull to be an actual threat. Plus, if he attacked either her vassal or the fox's, the entire team would turn against him like clockwork. An almost indestructible defense of like minded creatures. She couldn't ask for a better vassal safety wise.

Am I good or what?" 8D snickered as he skipped down the hall after his group with Crusader by his side.

"I don't know boss, if you ask me that was was a bit...LOoS! Normally your puns are TIGHTER! Nyuck Nyuck!" Crusader chimed in as he hopped along.

"Well Done little buddy! But now we gatta focus, more bad demons on the way! Eheheh, you guys ready?" Grins showed his namesake as he prepared his jokes for this next fight.

The lively, blood-red gargoyle shouted out, flapping it's wings menacingly! "COOOOME MY FRIEEEENDS! WE GOT SOME UNWELCOME GUESTS HEEEERE, ARRRRAAAAH!" And from the cieling, three small bats with floofy fur of the same red color as the Gargoyle, swept down upon their enemies. This time, there were 3 enemies, on top of the Gargoyle itself.

"W-woah... He don't seem to happy to see us..." Callie would say with a slight nervous laugh, taking a step back for a moment as the winged demon started shouting at them. This one definitely seemed angry at them, maybe he was territorial? B-but this wasn't his home? This was the arcade! He isn't supposed to be here, right? The young vixen would hold her hands on her hood where her ears hid as the red winged monster kept shouting and screeching. "Y-ya know, you don't have to be so loud? Can't ya use your indoor voice?" She'd ask meekly before it kept on screaming to call out for friends. F-friends? There were more than just him here! Oh that can't be good, she really didn't want to know what kinda friends a demon like that would have!

"H-hey you don't need to call f-FLUFFY! OH MA GAWD DEY ARE SO FLUFFEH!" The fox girl was in awe of the little fluffy bats, they were just so adorable! They didn't look like they could hurt a fly! That big meanie, she bet he was just forcing them to work for him and fight for him! Poor little fluffy bats, she'd make sure to set them free! "Guys! We gotta focus that big meanie wingy thingy! We should totally try to save those fluffy bats, I mean look at them!" She'd say, turning back around to her group, eyeing up the old man after she spoke to see his reaction to what she just said... She really hoped he'd see reason to this and give them a shot at it... T-they were so fluffy...

Turning back to the big winged demon in question, the girl would give it an innocent smile. "Sorry, but we gotta get through this way! There's no other way to the final level!" She'd quickly draw her blades. "Plus we gotta stop big meanies like you pushing fluffy little bats around! That's just plain mean!" With a silent agreement between host and shadow to indicate they were ready, Callie leapt into action.

"Well Well Well! I knew we'd be fighting demons but not GHOSTS AND GOBLINS as well, Ehehehe, ah... OH well. In all seriousness though guys, the looks superdy duperdy tough! PUPPETEER..." 8D dropped his hammer with an audible gasp as he layed eyes on what could be only described as little flying balls of fluff and love for all mankind... The world seemed to stand still as he gazed uppon the Fluffy bats and instantly fell in love, for if there was one thing that 8D loved more then anything, it was cute fluffy things... and by god those bats where the cutest and fluffiest little demons he had ever seen... "I want one.... No... I NEED ONE! YOU! DEMON FACE! I DEMAND YOU SHARE!"

"Gee Boss! I've always known you wer BATTY! But this is ridiculous! Nyuck Nyuck" Crusader laughed but was quickly silenced by a titanic love hug delivered by 8D's inhumanly strong arms."GAH! B-BOSS! What gives!?"

"Crusader... you don't understand... This is a matter of Life and Death! I NEED ONE OF THOSE BATS! And as for the rest of you!" 8D turned a cold robotic eye to Zavie and Telos, seeing as how Callie had already seemed to come to this conclusion on her own,"Leave my precious Bat Babies alone until the very end, at least untill we've tryed to get them to come join us...."

The boy followed Callie close behind, noticing the gargoyle when she did. It looked awful... Nowhere near as pleasant as the last demon the fought. It was a shame too, it didn't seem like he would listen to them either. The boy would sigh, preparing himself for another battle before the bats came flying down.

The boy would say, completely ignoring Grins's mental breakdown. He was entranced by the bats, they were so small, and cute, and perfect in every way humanly possible! With a sudden thought, the boy would shake his head. Oh, they were probably terrified! Or ready to fight to the bitter end! Oh no no! This wouldn't do at all! With a determined nod, and ignoring blatantly Proxy's cautious words and very concerned and confused warnings about Grins, the boy would walk forward.

The boy would say with wide eyes before rummaging through the folds of his hood. Proxy found it most unpleasing, but the boy knew he had brought some things with him... It took a few seconds, but in that small amount of time the boy would pull out a small box and hold it up too the bat with a shy look on his face.

He'd say with a happy smile and with hopeful eyes. Hopefully this worked... He would be crushed if the cute little bats were mean to him! Well, it wouldn't take long for a response... So here's to hoping!

With a gleefull Squee, the little demon grabbed the bottle of medicine with it's mouth before swooping over to Zavie's Side! You have gained a small ally which will act independently on your turn. He'll start acting as your ally next turn for this battle before fleeing the place. "ARAAAAAH!? YOU TRAITOROUS FIIIIIILTH! I'LL HAVE THE BOSS KNOW ABOUT THIS, ARAAAAAAAAH!" The Gargoyle spat out, readying for an assault of vengenance. Soon, he'd rain hell on that insignificant bat and it's allies. That's what you get for betrayal.

"G-GAAH!" Callie would scream out as one of her own attacks backfired, causing her to stumble backwards and feel rather dizzy. "H-heh, heh... S-so that's wh-what that feels like..." The young girl would cough and shake her head as she heard the violent screams of Terra telling her to move out of the way. Using the last of her energy, somehow she'd manage to throw herself out of the way of the incoming attack and land on her side on the ground. T-there was something wrong... S-she felt so bizarre, she couldn't even think straight. Terra was definitely trying to shout something at her, yet nothing was getting through, she was losing consciousness... Or at least, conscious control.

A blink later her eyes would change from their usual ruby red colouring to a primal orange, her hair, ears and tail that were previously hidden would both grow longer and reveal themselves to the group. Her tail would even seem to split into two completely separate tails, each much longer than her original. She'd feel an all new power wash over her and strength return to her body, if only for adrenalines sake. She'd let out a soft laugh and a smirk as she finally picked herself off of the ground and locked eyes with the first creature she saw. She didn't care anymore, nothing seemed to matter, her loving and happy nature had been ripped away and replaced with anger and hate.

"Hey! Y-you!" Terra would shout out, trying to attratch the attention of the other kid after countless futile attempts to get through any sort of message to his host. "P-please... Please help her!" His voice would sound frightened and unsure. "I-I... S-she isn't herself! S-she needs help!"

"Hehehe, oh this is going to be soo much fun." Drawing her refashioned blades, the twin tailed girl refused to listen to reason. Right now, there was only one simple thing that she wanted. Besides what could be more fun in a good fight than to toy around with the weakling...
