Appearance: Just imagine that image but with white hair, red pupils, and a devilish grin rather than a quiet smile. The giant ear pieces are written off as hearing aids for a "childhood disability." In order to conceal the robot exoskeleton, Shinji has a layer of synthetic skin over his body. He stands at about 5'7" and wears his school uniform outside of class since he doesn't want to bother getting other clothes.

Appearance Base:

Alternate Appearance: When in battle, Shinji wears a tightly buttoned trench coat with jeans. He also wears a motorcycle helmet on his head to conceal his identity when fighting shadows. During Orgia mode he takes off the trench coat and rips off the shirt underneath. Pipes then sprout along his spinal cord and steam continually pipes out of them to regulate his heat.

Personality: Due to Shinji's history, he has developed an apathy for human beings and has no emotional connection to their affairs. However, what he does have is an overwhelming interest in the functioning of the world. From simple things like street eats on the side of the road to a stray shadow that looks different from the rest, Shinji develops a deep interest, even borderline obsession for different things he comes across. This interest comes fleetingly and sometimes leaves just as quickly. Shinji might even get involved in the affairs of humans due to this same obsession. However, he doesn't do so out of emotional concern but from a form of twisted curiosity. He also hates obligations and joining sides, as he feels it limits his ability to explore all aspects of the world.

The Background

History: Before the fall, the knowledge of demons and persona users was a well kept secret and most of the common people did not know about their existence. However, in the higher echelons of the government in pre-fall Endymion this knowledge was known and countermeasures were beginning to be developed to counteract the shadow threat. One of the main weapons that was going through the prototyping stage was the Anti Shadow Suppression Weapons. In order for these robots to develop personas they had to nurture a personality called an ego. The first of these ASSWs were raised normally, almost like children, to develop healthy personalities. However, thoughts and speculation went around about trying to harness the negative part of the emotional spectrum. This was where R-00XX came in. Using one of the earlier prototype ASSWs, a highly illegal and inhumane experiment began 10 years prior to the Fall.

R-00XX was first activated on the date of REDACTED at REDACTED military base. He was contained in a gymnasium sized room with no light except for a TV at the far end of the enclosed space. There were no windows or clocks to signify the passing of time within R-00XX's room. On the screen would play scenes from human history of oppression, dictatorship, torture, and other graphic scenes of violence. With no other forms of interaction, R-00XX would sit in front of the TV and observe. At first these scenes filled it with mild interest as it helped pass the time.

After 1 year of said treatment we took one of our captured demons and unleashed it within R-00XX's confinement area. The test subject brutally eviscerated the shadow with its bear hands, reminiscent of the images it was exposed to on a daily basis. However, no persona was summoned and as such R-00XX still had no developed an ego.

Deviations began appearing within R-00XX's television programming. During random intervals during the day instead of the regular scenes of gore and violence, occasionally other things were displayed on the TV. These ranged from sitcoms, to dramas and other manner of television programming. R-00XX seems to develop strong emotional reaction to these deviations and seems more engaged when they are played.

We began releasing demons within R-00XX's pen at regular intervals. It seems that when they appear during times of deviated programming R-00XX would display increased aggression and frustration, as if they had impeded on some sort of personal time. After a particularly tiring and gruesome battle a female lab assistant named Angela appeared on the television set and began speaking to R-00XX. The android seemed very fascinated with her, as this was the first time any real interaction was made towards it. She would be a recurring figure within deviated programming on the television set, usually explaining some sort of human concept to R-00XX along with a slideshow of images.

Due to recent developments with the introduction of Angela R-00XX has shown more complex human behavior. It could be seen sometimes trying to break down the door to his cell, or punching the walls in frustration. The level of violence displayed seems to have increased dramatically and this is reflected within its combat characteristics as well. This might be the first step in the development of the ego.

Angela would turn out to be a central figure within R-00XX's life, teaching it the basics of speech, human mannerisms, and other basic concepts of social existence. During one of these sessions, we released a large amount of demonsinto the containment zone. Too many for even R-00XX's android capabilities to handle. While it was about to be devoured by the demons we detected emotional anomalies within its brain. It was happening, negative emotions of hatred and anger filled the emotional spectrum and an ego was formed. The fruits of 10 years of labour were coming to light.

THE FALL

Rumbling... world falling apart... TV broken... the sky... darkness...

There are ruins... people... dead people among them... something in his hand... an tablet... a video recording... play.

"Experiment log 49. We've introduced Angela into R-00XX's daily programming. Quite brilliant really, one of the youngest scientists on this project managed to figure out the true reason why R-00XX wasn't developing an ego. Showing it images of violence and isolating it from the outside world isn't enough. If you raise a child in perpetual darkness that is all it will know of the world, blind to the things it could have. In order for R-00XX to develop hatred, we needed to make sure it had something to lose. Funny how the person who is going to introduce it to all these concepts is the same one who made the idea in the first plac-"

I broke the tablet in my hands. They used me... tricked me... My life is ruined by them! Something rose within my throat as I began laughing, a maniacal laugh that I would never forget. All humans are just the same...

Okay, so the first thing you should know is that you can't have an alternate appearance if you wish to join the cadets and or have a Tainted Persona as your persona. I thought I'd let you know just in case you didn't know! Regardless of that, it looks fine and that bit is approved.

Now, for strengths and weaknesses, everything looks good! However, you'll need a weakness towards your magical endurance to balance out your strength to your physical endurance!

For your weaknesses, you should know Luck and Speed are both in the same stat. If you wish to keep your speed weakness though, you'll have to specify that, when avoiding you'll have an extra chance to be hit, and when trying to hit you'll have one less chance to do so. Though, I'd recommend simply taking the Luck weakness as the speed one would be quite a hindrance.
