| Akira AkamotoI don't mind losing a few opportunities in life. But there were some opportunities I regret not taking.
The Biography
|
Birth Name: Akira Akamoto Aliases: (None so far) Gender: Male Age: 18 Birth Day: June 13 Arcana: The Devil Place of Residence: Vagabond Inn. Constantly rents one room at the far end of the second floor. Evoker: Mental Shackles Academy Semester: Third Year Class: (We'll fill this in once you're approved. This will be your class in school)
Sorority: None
Part/Full Time Job: None
Appearance: Akira is about 5'9 (175cm) tall with an almost pale skin. He has a messy white hair that he keeps in check whenever he goes to school, keeping it short-to-medium and his bangs swept away from his eyes.
He has gray colored eyes with small amount of eyebags surrounding them. His build is a dangerously thin line between average and skinny, bordering more on skinny.
His face, however, is almost heart-shaped, giving him a rather feminine appearance despite his masculine (albeit near-skinny) body.
He almost exclusively wears the Seven Stars Academy uniform even during his day offs. His casual wear consists of his white shirt, jeans and shoes. During the winter, he simply wears blue winter jacket, a beanie, and white colored fully sleeved shirt that goes on top of his white Tee.
Alternate Appearance:
Starting with the head, he wears a somewhat large black hat with a feather decoration. He covers half of his face with a plain black maskara. As for his attire, he wears a long, ruffled, black coat with gold decorations and trims. Finally, he wears white pants and black boots that accentuate his overall attire.
Personality: Most people see Akira as a lazy failure. But Akira is actually a kind-hearted person: he helps whenever someone asks for his help, going so far as even giving academic hints and tips. He is loyal to anyone whom he sees is willing to see things through. Whenever he is scolded, if he believes and understands that what he did was wrong or lacking, he will gladly take the verbal beating. There has been moments in his life where he was scolded for unfair reasons and he holds back his anger most of the time.
Despite his lazy attitude, when his friends give up, he's the one who cheers them up or works to find a way. Having given up on himself on so many occasions, he refuses to see others giving up so easily, if at all.
When given a very easy task, he usually decides not to do it until later (unless it's urgent). This has somewhat changed as he grew up, but it nevertheless becomes a problem for his academics.
That is not to say he isn't smart: Despite his innocence and lack of everyday knowledge, he can be quite smart at times. He sees things from a different perspective, sometimes resulting in getting alienated from the group.
Akira can be too kind at times. He feels that others deserve better than he does, and so at times he either helps them out more than he has to or gives more than he has to.
Interestingly enough, Akira has gotten over his stage fright pretty early in his life. He's also not the one to take responsibility most of the time. Akira has this mentality where, unless it was specifically asked that he do the task, he's not bothered to take responsibility willingly. Whenever he willingly does so, he only does it because he has to act like an adult, and not because he really wants to do it.
All of this has resulted in loneliness and regret fostering deep inside his heart. He's bound to the fact that, because of how he really is, his would-be girl would suffer from doing all the jobs while he slacks off like an immature man-child. Unless there was a girl out there who was willing to "waste" their years "taming" Akira to be a better person, he did not want to put pain on his significant other.
Lastly, though he has never gone to a psychiatrist or councilor to confirm so, it's highly possible that he has a case of social anxiety, as he sometimes decides not to engage in social activities unless required (school clubs, after school hangouts, dates). He can still make friends, though he feels it to be tiring deep inside.

The body is a fusion of three skull heads, a large strip of teeth on one side, and thick dragon-like scales on the other. The body is in itself sharp enough to cut down enemies, thus it can be used as an axe. The Background
|
History:
Akira was born into a rich man's household. His father was a successful business tycoon whilst his mother was his most trustful right hand man... or woman. Akira was the youngest in all six of his siblings. Though they lived in a pretty big house, their lives were less about having fun and more about preparing for their life ahead: all of them were pressured to get high, if not top, grades and each sibling had to master an art: Akira's art was guitar playing. His music tutor was amazed when he found that Akira also had the capability to sing well, and so he taught the boy how to sing. Akira's childhood was what you'd expect: his mornings were 2-3 hours of fun before he goes to school, then he goes home and studies more with his tutor, then practices with his guitar with a teacher, only to have another two hours of free time before going to bed. Though his evening free time was a time he can have fun, their parents nonetheless pressured them to read books in their library or do something that was productive. To top it off, none of his siblings got along with each other. The Akamoto siblings were taught by their parents to treat each others as respected rivals in an effort to bring out the best in all of them. Naturally this was a bad parenting move, but none of them protested. Each one of them sought to make Father and Mother proud, and they thought that this was all a game to see who was more favored. Thankfully, fighting between the Akamoto children was rare.
As tough as life was, Akira was able to pull through to teenage-hood just fine.
Until his third year of high school.
Before they entered high school, they were chaperoned to and from schools. When they entered their first year, however, they were taught to commute. Akira had no problem learning it, and by the second week of school he was commuting by himself or with one of his siblings.
On his Third Year in school, he was crossing an interesting when he saw a schoolgirl stop in the middle of the crossing. It wasn't until he made it to the other side when he recognized the girl in question: it was Mizune, the deaf scholar girl that attends the same school as he does. Mizune stared at her phone in disbelief, but she couldn't have stopped at a worse time.
Shortly after she stopped and Akira crossed the intersection, the lights changed to red. The white-haired boy never forgot that moment, it felt as if the world slowed down. He simply stared at Mizune, the girl who still stood in the middle of the road. For a few seconds, he mentally debated whether or not to save her. His decision was what he considered the worst decision in his life.
He turned away and kept walking, assuming that she'd get her bearings and jog across the road safely. But seconds later, the sound of a car throwing its brakes and the unmistakable sound of a loud bump. Akira stopped walking. He slowly turned back, and Mizune's lifeless body burned into his mind and heart. That day, Akira arrived late for school, but he wore the face of someone who was terrified, as if he had done something so bad that he'd be executed in prison for. At least, that's what he felt.
The experience was so traumatizing for Akira that he shut himself in his room for three days before being forced to go to school by his parents and siblings. Despite the obvious help Akira needed, both his father and mother simply told him to get over whatever drama he was facing and pushed him to go to class. For days, he felt paranoid and uncomfortable. He kept seeing the "ghost" of Mizune around corners and his guilt just welled up and built up inside of him. However, he found that when he played music all on his own, it soothed his pain and calmed him down. And so it was the last quarter of the year before graduation when he started skipping class. He would rent a studio or a room with enough soundproofing to play music for the day, then go home and attend to his tutors. To catch up with his academics, Akira would simply borrow notes or even steal them from his siblings, only to give them back once he had copied the notes. He finished the school year with above average grades, but was not qualified for graduation and had to repeat Third Year as he was absent for too many days. Worse, the school was able to get a hold of the CCTV footage of Mizune's death, and Akira was called in to the Office to explain why he did not save her. In the end, the school simply gave him a warning and a letter ordering him to seek psychiatric help. Tired and disheartened that he won't be graduating, he went home while his classmates went to practice Graduation Rites.
But just as he thought Mizune's death was bad enough, it got worse when he got home.
His parents and siblings waited his arrival. Akira's father was the one that shamed him in front of everyone, loudly disowning him for doing something so stupid as letting his schoolmate die. He angrily shouted that he had received a call from his school explaining the situation, and that his siblings had heard the rumors and gossips around school that Akira "killed" Mizune and got away with it. He ended his rage-filled sermon on the poor boy by saying how embarrassed he was now that the Akamoto name would be ruined.
This was the last straw for him. Mother and Father did nothing when he approached them, and his siblings would refuse to help him thanks to this stupid "competition." No more, the white-haired boy thought. Akira declared that, to avoid further staining the Akamoto name, he would enroll in another school in another city, and finish his Third Year.
That night, he packed his luggage and left the house without saying his goodbyes. After looking at his choices of prestigious schools to repeat his grade, he picked the Seven Stars Academy in Endymion city. When he arrived, Akira felt the surroundings to be familiar. By the time he had set up his place in the Vagabond Inn, he settled down for a few moments before hearing a familiar voice.
"You think you can run away from your past this time?" Mizune's sweet and cold voice rang in his ears.
