---
Another dreary night, another dreary evening. The entire district was vibrant with light and movement, evidence of the prosperity that Endymion was experiencing under the Lamecia head. Material wealth was all too common in these parts as customers walked in and out the various shop entrances the Backlight had to offer to Endymion's citizens. It appeared all too unlikely that there would be a lack of brightness within the proximity of this place. But with some patience and awareness, their just reward were a few lonesome alleyways that nobody really paid attention to. Perhaps a few store employees might dump refuse from their daily work.
However, as night falls, so comes the very monsters that lurk in the midst of the city's human residents. Not many are capable of perceiving such dangers. But tonight, the numbers of those who can lay their eyes on their true forms, may increase... if they can survive this night.

Telos himself was here on patrol tonight. It was a nice change of pace, not having to defend himself from them again. But tonight, something felt... off. "This feeling... what is it? It's like that night all over again..." Telos thought, experiencing something that could only be felt as... Dread.

That feeling of ill-will was no imagination. It was a premonition to danger. Endymion's nights were far from being completely safe, especially at this time. Behind the machine, it could hear rasping noises. If he bothered to turn, the otherworldly sight greeted him. It was dark, a billowing substance that seemed to have a life of its own. There was nothing comprehensible about it. But there should be one thing that he should know by now.
Tonight, Telos was the victim.
"1j04j1kl5j3j--!!?"
It howled into the alleyway, the hoarse and violent noise reverberating between brick walls. The words that screamed from its maw couldn't be understood, like its entire existence. Any occupants in nearby buildings would have the common sense to stay inside. None of them would have the power of Personas like their beloved Cadets. Leave the fighting to them. Both the hunter and the hunted occupied before it started to begin making a beeline towards him. Would he run? Or would he fight?

"What the?!" Telos exclaimed, swiveling to face it. It was some kind of monster. A demon. And by the looks of it, it was out for blood. Blood that would probably result from the loss of innocent human life. And nobody left with the ability to stop it nearby. Except for him. Some part of him, some scared remnant from 5 years ago wanted to run. Wanted to flee. Be anywhere but here. And he almost did... Were it not for just one part that said no. And it was that part he listened to tonight.
"No. No more. 5 years ago, I died. Today... today is the day I live again." he said, standing his ground against the monster. True, it might kill him, this time, for good. But if it meant saving even just one innocent human life-form that would have otherwise died.... Well, it would all be worth it.

Brave as he may be, but whatever capacity he has to fight this black mass, it would not be enough. No matter what he did, the dark figure would be upon him, pushing him off his feet as it grabbed him with what looked like to be some semblance of limbs. A large thud could be heard in the empty alleyway given how heavy the machine is. The aberration stared into the robot's eyes, almost as if gleaming with expectation and hunger. Its maw started to open, if Telos worshiped any kind of deity, this was a perfect enough time to make his last prayers--
"I am thou..."
Light started to emanate from the decrepit-looking android. Just as the black mass started to allow its fangs to sink into him, an unseen force blasted it backwards, not without a shrill scream in return. From the flash, an entity appeared near Telos' side. Its presence was far familiar to him, yet he has never seen it before.
"Thou art I..."
If Telos took the time to notice, he'd see that he was now in a new get up along side with what was called a Persona.
OOC:
You may now summon your Persona and make note of your alternate appearance.

He could feel himself becoming more and more tired fighting it, going strong at first, but age was beginning to catch up. At this rate, he would... [i]"I'm sorry. I'm so. so. sorry." He thought, realizing that here and now, he might just die. And this time, Primus wasn't going to show up at the last second to save him with his forcefields. Then he heard the voice. And it gave him the resolve he needed. "A coward dies a thousand deaths..." he began, getting up again. "BUT A HERO DIES BUT ONE!" He roared, reinvigorated by the light, and blasted it with a blast of ice.
Action::
Using Bufu for 4 sp. Arcana bonus of +15% and Ice boost bonus of 25% make the damage 27 total.
Miss if 1:
Random number (1,10) :
7
Soul Skill Name: Nuva Power Lvl.1 Persona Name: Kopaka Nuva Tier: Tier 1 Cost: None (Passive) Type of Damage: None (Passive) Description: 10% (20% with single target skills) chance of inflicting a freeze ailment with each bufu skill used. Not effective against opponents that are strong/block/ etc ice. May cause freeze that makes your next attack undodgable. Wears off the opponent's next turn. [in PvS - in PvP it lowers opponent mobility and agility by 15% and partially freezes them in place until their next turn]. Can be put out by an agi skill used on self that matches tier. Effects do not stack.
Using Bufu so skill has 20% chance to trigger this time (as bufu is a single target skill). Hits if 10 or 9:

Ironically, the flame had cooled Telos's head. The pain made him realize just how irrational his action was, and he was glad backup had arrived, and bearing gifts of weaponry, to boot. "Thank you. If possible, could I receive first aid?" Telos asked him. The bandit nodded, and he felt a warm light restore him. "Now then... let's see if you'll freeze again." Telos said.
Action (Telos)::
Using Bufu for 4 sp. Damage is 27 from arcana boost and ice boost bonus + Pmstr. stat of 20.
Miss= Non-Applicable (I think):
In case i'm wrong on that front, here are the odds: Misses on a 1:
Random number (1,10) :

"Tch." Telos said. The blow itself wasn't too bad, but the aftereffects were. His Persona now appeared to be off limits. "Looks like i'll have to do this old fashioned way. I haven't done sword play in a while, but alright." He thought, summoning his soul bound. "Heal me again, please. I can't afford to keep taking chances." Telos said. No need for unnecessary risks. If this didn't work, he still had his gun, so no big deal.
Telos's Actions::
Attacking twice with soul bound using strength for total of 26 dmg. Attack 1 has no chance of missing. Strike 1: Crits if 10:
