Takeru patiently sat around in the SMILE office, having called ahead, waiting for his turn to see the reporter. Hearing about how the reporter was looking for major tips involving the secrets of this town, and needing someone to fully confess all of the events he experienced recently, he decided to go to the media, against all better judgement.
"Remind me. Why are you doing this again?" Twelve said.
"Don't you remember the plan? We called ahead saying we had information to offer to her that could potentially be the scoop of a lifetime. We didn't specify what, but we did make it sound juicy. It must have worked, because here we are now, waiting." Takeru said.
"Yeah? Well, some people don't seem to believe you." Twelve said, referring to the receptionist. Takeru only groaned mentally in response. She had, in a well meaning sort of way, thought he was someone's lost child. He almost had to go through the indignity of being one at his age before convincing her of his identity (and of his actual age), and that he was indeed the one there to see her.
Eventually, though, he was called up to go see her.
"Here goes nothing." Twelve said, summing up both of their thoughts at once.
