"Snrk." Frog snarked to himself at the guy's remark. "Don't play smart. I'm following after you only because I'm not content with letting you go off first like this! Maybe we should split or something, eh? Would that make you happy?" This guy was full of bullshit. Especially 'cause he thought he could best him, the one and only Frog Prince. Well, he wasn't gonna let that sliiiiide-?

Frog turned around as someone crept out from behind him and held his shoulders. And oh the surprise as he was met with.... "Briiiiiiiiiii-" No, wait, he couldn't shout out her name here!!! Ugh he'd never get used to all this dumb secrecy stuff. Well, time to ass-pull out of this one... "-tty Guardian B!!! You're with us? Holy crap, yeah!" All of Frog's bad mood from the other guy was alleviated in a second, the moment he saw her. So they were all together again. This was gona be fun, at the very least. He snickered at her. "Crabapples are small apples, aye? Didn't need to see it in a game to know! This is trivial, baby! And I'm turbo smart! No biggie! Hehe~" He then pulled her closer to whisper something. "You know, though, this other guy is really getting on my nerves. On my count, we're gonna totally outrun him and take the lead, 'kay? We're like, the best ones here anyways, so it shouldn't be a problem. Just wait for my sign."

Frog returned to staring at the guy's back intently as they ran. He was waiting for him to trip up or well, do something to give them a chance to outspeed him. His eyebrows jumped when the guy opened his mouth to say something. It'd be a perfect opportunity. Frog was already ready to shout for Brit and Liam to run after him, but then...

The guy pretty much sped up ridiculously all of a sudden.

Frog stopped, jaw dropping to the floor. N-no way! Whatever the hell that was, he could do it to, right? No way was he gonna get shown around by some random guy!!! This was war now!!!

This power had to have come from the Persona as well, right? If that was right, then he could do it to. And do it better! Ten times over!!! "Guys, we're going after him! Nobody appointed him the goddamn leader and we're not letting him get to the switch before we do! Are you ready!? Let's do this! Fart drive, activate!!!"

And with that and a lot of concentration, Frog farted a rainbow behind him and launched after Gabe, moving as swift as a shadow, leaving beads of sweat in his tracks, but nothing more. The rush felt exhillarating, and soon enough, he caught up with the other guy. Score. "You there! Stop friggin' pretending you're in chaaarge!!!" Frog followed his every step and, eventually, with a shout, rammed straight into him, knocking them both into the floor unless the guy managed to evade it. Friggin' random guys ruining everything. "Ha-ha! Got ya now!!!" Nyu-nyu-nyu. Frog was the only leader, and that was it!

It was quite entertaining to see bot h other men interacting, as the first one seemed to want to just get it over it the quickest way possible while Frog just was trying to exert his dominance as the leader of the group, which was pretty much his normal personality poking through his now super heroic form. He didn’t think it was worth to interfere into their almost comical banter, but he did giggled a little bit seeing how both of them were looking like some cliché characters from any animated children’ history. What did catch his attention was the fact that the until no mysterious new ally was very similar to Gabe’s, or was he just really wanting that other element of the team to be someone he already knew to be more relaxed into this pressure filled situation? Either way, it was quite reassuring for him to see that out of nowhere Brit popped up to help them out, even if she had already been in another team. Seems like the Phantom was feeling a little compassionate with the team with one less member, huh?
It was quite good to see all three of them there, though. The Super Sailor, the Frog Prince and the Dragon Fighter all together once again to battle the evil. Now that really sounded like a kid’s animated show and he couldn’t help but giggle a little under his breath. Anyways, this wasn’t the time to be thinking about kid shows and anything like that even if his rainbow friend was plotting his way into the leadership of the group. The red-haired just decided to follow the commotion quietly, trying to keep the pace up and to help with anything when needed. He would cover the back of the team at the case someone tried to sneak up on them until Gabe decided to speed up even more, going ahead into a blur of movements and being followed closely by Frog.
His brain couldn’t process it right away as everything happened kind of fast for him but he had the feeling it was not something exclusive of them, but rather an ability all of them had. Hell, he summoned dragons, he could run faster if he wanted to, right? And just like that, he felt like everything was a little more blurry around him as he moved like that old fighting movies through the corridors together with everyone. ~ Let's keep this pace up. ~ He said as soon as he got to everyone else, focusing more on progressing ahead now.

Brittany, or rather, Pretty Guardian B wasn’t interested in the little convoluted interaction between the boys. At least, not yet. Busying herself with checking if her outfit was of appropriate length, or rather, appropriate for an extremely hot weather was far more important matter. That is, at least until addressed by the strange man with tuxedo and gala ball mask (one she decided to name as “Tuxedo Mask”, as seen in an old TV series for infants, because she just couldn’t miss the reference and he looked so much like the character). “Hm… I guess you have a point”, the Terrorist said, blinking a few times with a deadpan expression. It would be of no use for her if she took her shoes off on such a hot floor. The last thing she needed right now was blisters on her soles.

On another note, she did pay attention to Frog’s display of enthusiasm upon her presence. So much he almost said the one name he couldn’t, an information about her real identity he wasn’t supposed to reveal to these people. To this, Brittany frowned, considering a comeback of the friendly type and warn her comrade about the possible implications of letting some detail of such relevance slip. “Britty Guardian B”, huh? Even though she was a bit of an empty head at times, valuing freedom and fun over discipline and not taking most things (including this little incursion into the Playhouse) seriously, she was not oblivious to what consequences it would bring to her if it came to the knowledge of these people the reality behind the sailor uniform and the ball mask, which is part of the reason (a small part, but still a part) why she adopted the fun sobriquet of “Pretty Guardian”. Isn’t that why they all chose nicknames for themselves? And while she could say something in that respect to him, she didn’t solely because… he was busy with his own strife against Tuxedo Mask. Frog did say the guy was getting into his nerves, he just didn’t say it was THAT much!

“…huh…guys?”, she would retort, speechless at what her eyes registered as the most unbelievably ridiculous scene of all times. From the rainbow fart (gosh, it looked great, but the smell was just as proportionally awful as the special visual effects) to the sudden violent burst against Tuxedo Mask fellow. Should she interfere in the scene that’s so worth a comical TV show? “Draconeeson… Should we… erm, you know… do something or let them love each other?”, she would ask, not tearing her eyes away from the odd couple.

Unlike the demons they had encountered before, she was not as hostile nor did she look like the type who wished to do battle. She simply hovered before the group of humans with a confused expression on her face.

While Brittany could have stopped both guys from ripping each other's throats anytime, her eyes caught something far more interesting that so far she had never seen before, except in tales, series and, possibly, some romanticized games. “...is that a...?”, she'd ask, gazing at the marvelous creature before her mouth could complete the sentence. A fairy? Of course she shouldn't be one, but a demon instead. After all, that place was dominated by demons, for all she knew. It didn't stop, however, Brittany to be so mesmerized by this demon's appearance that, for a minute, she almost regretted having beaten a few of her kind before.

“D'awwwwwww, guys, stop! Look at this! It's, like, the cutest thing I've seen the whole day since I came here!”, the girl spoke, almost as loud as a shout to gather her team mates' attention, but not as loud as to potentially annoy the unknown and sudden visitor. “I didn't know demons could be sooooo pretty! And she's so tiny and cute and small, almost like a fairy godmother doll I've seen in a store before! But this one's wings are prettier, so colorful they even shine!” As her eyes (Brittany's, not Hua Po's!) glimmered behind the mask, if no one stops her right now, she'd be one and on about this little demon's beauty.

"Heehee, like I'm so totally happy you can tell how special I am!" The demon fluttered her wings as she flew in loops and hovered before the Masked Human. "I like your outfit, it's really cute! I wonder if it comes in my size!" Hua Po rubbed her chin as her wings continued to flutter. Regardless, it seemed the demon was interested in the group now, and saw them in some sort of positive light.

“Oh my Gosh, I so totally can!” Her agape mouth almost dropped down the ground, shocked that this demon, or fairy?, could speak and understand her language like a sentient being. Weren't they irrational monsters? Apparently they weren't, Brittany proved herself wrong and now was starting to understand what the mysterious Phantom lad said when he suggested them to "treat demons better" or something along those lines. However, she could only came to such conclusion because she found a demon with whom she could have one thing the boys in her team wouldn't give her...GIRL TALK! “I'm, like, not sure? I mean, I could try to ask a dressmaker if they could, you know, make one for your size. Hm...now that I think of it, they'd have to take your measures and all, and be familiar with demons because some are really scary and ugly, but you're an exception! Oh-my-gosh, do you know what this means? If you dress up like me, we'll be, like, twin sisters, that's sooo rad! What do you think?” To anyone watching the scene, it'd look like Brittany, or rather, Pretty Guardian B got a little bit carried away about the possibility of interacting with the unknown, evinced by how her voice gradually changed its pitch to a high, excitable level. Perhaps too much, because she could ask the tiny creature to give her more valuable info, such as the switch location, or to turn the heat down a bit because, really, that was the most unbearable weather she could withstand in a long while. Girl priorities here.

"Yay! Heehee! My name's Hua Po, I hope we can be the best of friends!" The demon would flutter her wings in delight before glowing a white hue. She would suddenly vanished into shards and separate amongst the party. They were all now free to move on.

What. Just. Happened.

This didn't make sense at first, but when it ended up making sense, it just made it even more nonsensical. Not only that, but it also complicated matters a friggin' lot for him. Somehow, Brit managed to make friends with this sort of reddish plain and boring looking fairy demons thing and it seemed to reciprocate the same back. Frog watched from his position sitting on and pushing the annoying guy into the floor as the fairy, Hua Po, popped. Wait... But if they were gonna be the best of friends, then it probably meant these shard thingies were all still her. Maybe even lucid. Gnyuugh. And the worst part was it made him feel bad that she ended up not actually following them but like, popping into these things. Screw being together forever in heart and that shit, you're either together or you ain't. That's why all the goshdarn movies always made him cringe at his own sentimentality when such a scene would occur. It would pass, though. At least that was certain. Still, demons being like, cute and stuff, was now gonna make him feel bad about whomping them 'cause then may have feelings and family and be like people. Except that people don't burst into shards after telling you how you're gonna be bestest friends forever and ever and ever. Though it would really be nice if some people, ahem, did burst into shard. Spontaneous shardbustion. Yup, sounds about right.

More importantly... He'd knocked the guy down. Yes. Score. This was his shot! He had to take the lead while he still could. "Excuse me, coming through, loser, ahaha!!!" Frog pushed himself off of the guy's back and ran forward, motioning for the others to follow suit. "Aye aye, we've got ourselves a new friend or whatever that was, but like, let's gogogo! The heat is still killing me, I wanna get the hell out of here asap!!!" He ran around the corner to maybe see if anything odd was hiding there. It better be the goddamn switch finally, Frog thought to himself. It felt like they still had a heck of a lot of stupid annoying work to do before they would be able to meet the fabled Phantom again and find out about all these decrepit idiocies. He wanted to direct his own power his own way, not have to do dumb tasks with it. Like in the games when they give you tutorials, yuck. He could figure out the workings on his own. Yes, on his goddamn own.

This guy had some nerve. At first, Gabe was alright with leading the team, he knew that they were taking too long and that it was better use of their magic to get though the dungeon as quickly as possible, since they haven’t got it into an altercation with any sort of demon so far, it was the most reasonable choice. Even though he was in font, it w sonly based upon his deductive reasoning to check every corner. It didn’t meant that he as the leader, or even acted like one, so what was this problem? “Though, moving at high speed took a lot of concentration, So Gabe didn’t notice getting pushed down. Gabe probably had the proper skill set in order to avoid such an assault to his honor, but Gabriels let it go, and allowed himself to get pushed down. If this man wanted to take the lead so bad in order to quell his thirst of attention and importance, then let him. Though, there was such a thing of asking to give up the lead for a while in order to properly direct the team, and using force to get your way. It reflected on Gabe atleast, but if he didn’t care about how Gabe felt about him from this point on, then so bet it.”….”

Gabe basically sat on the floor and shuffled his cards passively as he watched the woman that was complaining about the weather before talk it up with the demon. Surprisingly, she had a way with words being able to sway the demon to their side, something that proved to be useful. Wait, scratch that, she almost had gabe, but the act of a demon coming with them transpired to a demon exploding into a million pieces that was being distributed among the masses. How was that any help at all? Why didn’t she ask the demon where the switch was? If Gabe had the chance to ask, he would of done so. “Sigh…..” Gabe got up and dusted himself off after putting his deck away. If there was any sort of enthused reaction that he had for this, it was starting t run thing as results continued not to be apart of the factor concerning this particular squad. Though, he maybe this was for the best, let the team talk among themselves and drive themselves silly then, Gabe would just watch them do so.

He did knew that Frog wanted to be the leader, but he didn't factor that he was going to literally body slam Gabe to get the position. Not that it mattered to him personally, as he was more comfortable in the back lines until some danger was involved, but it was a curious event to him seeing how being in command was so important like that. Maybe he had something like that with him too when he was younger...Well, that was not the time for that, mainly because they had a very peculiar situation in front of them. It seemed that finally it was their time to talk to a demon, as he had seen the other teams do it and it was quite the change of pace for him to not be fighting them, as that was the only thing he has done until now. He would try to talk something with it but Brittany simply fell in love with the little fairy-like being and it reciprocated very well, so he just kept on watching the two interacting. Maybe wandering all the time with boys was really a burden to a popular girl like her, after all. She did need someone to talk to that was not boys, and with that the demon related. It was more surprising that it would fragment itself and go out to everyone as a sign of alliance, but that was indeed a way…. Or so it seemed.
It wasn’t long until Frog rushed ahead to be what he body slammed Gabe for after all, and he just laughed everything off. Things were already serious as they were, and with these new fragment pieces of demons he saw some things were sure left unanswered again. After all, what was all this Terrorist business about? They sure weren’t being exactly the fearsome and menacing guys the government kept talking about, but were no heroes either. And how the demons fit in with all of this? Friends? Foes? This was not as black and white, and it made guessing what to do even more difficult, dangerous even. Good thing he didn’t express all of this on the outside, and kept his half masked face as a blank slate through everything, just like an observer to all the madness they were passing right there. Just keep moving and turn that damn switch off was all he could think about, after all that was their priority since the beginning.

Wait... What? In one moment, the little red fairy was all friendly saying how they would be best friends forever and Brittany was ready to make room in their little party of four (or five, if you count the presence of the floating demon), when in reality their interactions, albeit fruitful, led to…her body disintegrating?? What’s the name for the event when you shatter into myriad pieces after making a pinky promise of friendship? “What? Hey! Wha... Guys, have you seen that?? Where did that thing go? She, like, totally disappeared in front of our eyes!! What have I done? Did I, you know, kill her? But she was so happy when we talked…”, she would say, eyes wide open that couldn’t express the entirety of her shock. Didn’t Hua Po said she was gonna be friends with her? Is this how demons express their feeling of amicability towards one another? What would she do with shards of whatever instead of a real, whole demon backing them up…? Frustrated was an understatement, and while she stayed still for some time, the Terrorist let the disappointed slowly alleviate from her face, keeping the shards for herself somewhere inside her clothes (let’s not get in details as to “where” exactly Wilson girl decided to store them). If she knew this was going to happen, then she’d talk to the demon about something far more useful, like turning down the switch they were looking for, or shutting down the unbearable heat. If she could disappear like that in the blink of an eye, then it’s only logical.

As for Frogerio’s complaints and his attempt to shove Tuxedo Mask’s fellow down in order to establish himself as the presumable leader of their little group… Brittany honestly didn’t care much. She did find the whole development of their interactions funny and all, obviously oblivious to Frog’s adamant eccentricity, painting it off as one of the Prince’s quirks. Frogerio did say to her he was getting on his nerves and to “wait for his sign”, though he didn’t specify he was gonna ram into him at full speed. Draconeeson didn’t seem to want to interfere either and so was pretty chill about it, probably a sign he was as used to Frog’s behavior as her. “Hm, the Phantom could give us a hint or anything… Like, he was the one to invite us here, the one who posed these challenges or whatever he calls it to us. But you know? Doesn’t this look like we’re a exploring party in a RPG kind of game?” After all, they were running in a labyrinth facing monstrous enemies in hopes to complete a quest for a totally random character they met by accident. Totally RPG material. Funnily enough, her good humor in analyzing their situation under a more colorful light certainly helped her to endure the temperature and the stress. Not sure about the others, they all seemed so tense…

"Hee Ho! Did you just make an alliance with that demon, ho?" The Pyro Jack from the entrance appeared from the flames, waving the lantern back and forth in hand. The pumpkin headed demon seemed surprised as it spun around and raised its lantern. The flames within the area would begin to subside before being dragged into his lantern and returning the area back to its normal temperature. Of course things were still abit toasty. "The Phantom told-ho me-hee to see how willing you humans were to working with demons! This De-Hee-mon is impressed, ho! You pass this test! There really wasn't a switch, ho! We just wanted to see if you would murder even non hostile demons, ho!" The Pyro Jack cackled as he floated pass the group and would escort them back to the front (to save them time from having to get to the entrance of the burning area themselves).

The Temperature within the building seemed to cool abit as they reached the area outside of the previous burning basement. The Pyro Jack spun around with a cackle before addressing the group. "One of the previous blocked levers you need to pull is now unblocked, ho! But to get to another you'll have to find my bro-ho-ther, hee!" The Pyro Jack gave them one last cackle before poofing away in a fit of flames.

Move Over Dumbasses!

Aya watched as the girl started to flirt with the Demon in the flames. They gave her hardly any trouble unlike the idiots that were walking basically on top of it, yet even as the thoughts roamed through her mind, it did get blocked by some of the flames licking her skin, which made her sneer beneath her mask. At least the group got the job done in the end, unlike the guys from before who kept arguing. Then again....she'd totally watch them do it again to see them get at each other's throats. Who would pass up a chance like that, especially with these kick ass powers to spice up the conflict? It'd be sweet to see people using it to kick each others' asses. The woman that talked to the demon she was sort of interested in. She was one of the few who showed any actual interest in the demons, real or fake. Maybe she could be a wonderful edition to this crazy existence in this city. Though she seemed to get stupid and bubbly again; a little TOO crazy like the chick came from outer space. She shook her head to herself in silence. Apart from that however, up to this point, she was mostly silent; if the others were speaking she didn't respond for the moment. However she was way too bored now; she wanted some action.

She walked past Frog and shoulder checked him roughly to the side to get in front of him without any sort of apologetic gesture or even looking to him. Reiji then would jump over Gabe and continue on ahead though her jump was rough and careless, nearly landing on Gabe himself. Was it intentional or genuine? The snicker the Wretched Girl let out might have given an answer to that question. "Let's get going losers. Got no time to spend playing with yourself. Get a move on," she said. Before anyone could give her a real response however, she would suddenly zip down the hallway in a blurred image, leaving behind sparks trailing for a moment before fading in half a second. It was a power she saw the others use, but who knew she could use it as well? Shifting down the hall at incredible speeds is definitely going to make the trip a lot easier. She didn't even care that she wasn't looking where she was going in the slightest, if demons would try to get in her way, well she would have to show them who had the actual power here.
