Enigmatic Energy (Takeru Kagemaru)

Takeru just happened to be walk in by when he saw that person in a dress.
"Wondering who that girl is?" Twelve said.
"What girl, doctor? That's a guy. No chest for one thing- oh wait... I just got baited, didn't I." Takeru said.
"Yes. Now go and say hi. He looks famalliar." Twelve said to Takeru.
Takeru sat down next to the boy.
"Hey. What's with the dress, man?" He asked the boy.

"Wait a... Zavie? Is that you?" Takeru said, whispering. "What the flywheels are you doing in that? Is this some kind of phase? (Nice voice shift, by the way)." He whispered.
"I'm sorry. I didn't realize-!" He said.

"Oh, now look what you've done. He looks ready to burst into tears, for gods sake!"Twelve said with some fustration.
"Cool it, will you? This is an extremely awkward situation for me to, and I'm trying to not lose it in public!" Takeru snapped back.
"Ummm... fine. Thanks for asking. Say, uh... let's play Tha game we played last time!" He said.
"... are you daft?!?! You want to play a game NOW?!?!?! For God's sake, get your priorities straight!" Twelve yelled.
"Well, I'm TRYING to distract him for now until I can think of a plan. Unless you've got a better idea? "Takeru said. He took Twelve's ensuring silence as a no.

"Wow. That's a rare one. I'm impressed you know that. It's the science of putting people to death." He said, remembering who he once looked up all the different kinds of sciences online. Ktenology was one of those he was curious about, and looked into.
Needless to say, he was slightly horrified (and amazed) by what he saw.
"My, you certainly have quite the dark side yourself, don't you?"  Twelve remarked snarkedly.
"Shut. Up." Takeru said. He knew he always had a darker nature, and lately, it was coming more and more handy.

"Wow. That's a word I haven't heard in a while too. It's an adjective that's used to describe that of which brings strange sights or monsters." He answered. Upon hearing the boy's second question, though, he paused as a memory suddenly flashed through his head.
It was a day similar to this. He was talking to her again. He still couldn't fully make out her voice or face, but he was able to comprehend a single sentence.
"Hm. Impressive as always." She said. But why? Why was she complementing him? What for? He wished he could remember more, but he had to answer that boy's question.
"Yes it was." Takeru said. "And, no, it doesn't. It doesn't have to be..." Takeru added.
Now it was his turn to ask a question. Something about it that he had been thinking about ever since they had started playing this game.
"Zavie... you claimed not to know the meaning of euro, yet, when I answered, you reacted like you knew. Like you knew what I meant from the start. I could have lied to you, and yet, I get the feeling that if I had answered incorrectly, you would have known. And don't claim you lied either. I would have noticed. You've shown signs of it today too. Like when you asked me what ktenology meant, you spoke like you weren't sure what it was either. Why? You don't have to tell me here either, but I want an answer since I think you and I both know that I've won our game." He whispered to Zavie.

"True... except there's three reasons, and a theory i have as to why. The first one, the word ktenology?  That word isn't even found in most dictionaries, let alone most encyclopedias. I myself only was able to find the definition of that word mentioned once in a dictionary dating back to my grandpa's time. That's been out of print for longer than my parents or yours have been alive Two, you're lying, and while I don't mean to scare you, I do want to know why you're lying. Third, and finally, I know all this... because I was alone, too... once." Takeru whispered, with a slightly wistful look at the end. Pulling out a note pad and a pencil, he scribbled something on it, tore it out, and handed it to Zavie.
It read, in clear, visible print:
I know what it feels like to be afraid like you have. You've seen the monsters that roam the city at night, too, haven't you? The way you sometimes pause like you're mentally conversing with someone else.... I've felt that too. That's the loom I have when my persona comes to talk to me.
Remember what I said about the shadows and personas? 
Well, now I have a persona. Literally. If you don't believe me, fine. That's understandable. Anyone else would think I'm a loon. But what that means now, in short, is that I now have a responsibility... and that I trust you with this secret.
Again, it's up to you. Do you trust me? I've told you my secret...
Now will you tell me yours?
Now Takeru could only watch and wait for his response. It was crazy, he knew, but sometimes...
"Crazy is the only thing that works." Twelve said, finishing the thought.
Takeru mentally nodded, knowing that physically, he now had the same look as Zavie whenever he seemed to be seemingly lost in thought.
He hoped that was enough.

"Well... he seems terrified. Better get him inside. Today is not a good day for him. Best we reassure him a bit, though. Cookies sound nice." Twelve said.
"... gee... you notice that only now?" Takeru said.
"Well, I'm you. So technically,  it's your fault." Twelve said.
"Well... yes... but... sigh... do you think he thinks I'm a cadet?" Takeru said.
"Well, considering people like you and him are like jews, and they're Nazi's...  yes. I would be suspicious too." Twelve responded.
"Um... double chocolate chip cookies! I love those!" Takeru said, writing another note as he did so. 
Again, don't worry. Take a deep breath, and think. If I wanted to have harmed you, I'd have done it from the start. I'm not a cadet, they scare me as well. Trust me on this. Because let me tell you something: the first step to not being afraid anymore is to trust others. If you can trust someone, you are brave. Because only a coward unreasonably doubts others. And you not a coward, right? Now take that deep breath and think: "I am a brave boy. My home is near. And there is kindness in the world." As you inhale and exhale. Go on now. Clear your head, take that deep breath, and ask yourself: "If I were Takeru right now, and everything in this note is true, what am I thinking?" (Ponder that, and the answer is on the back). It read on the front.
On the back, it read:
I think that I would trust you to help me.
Takeru handed Zavie the note, then said something.
"You know... you remind me of myself once. I used to think I was boring too." He said, truth apparent in his words.
"But then... I met someone who believed I wasn't.  And look what happened! " Takeru said, gesturing twoards himself.
"You're not boring. Nobody is, truly. You just have to get to know them first. How do I know this?" He said.
"Becuase that's what she told me when I asked her why she believed in me." He whispered into his ear.
