As great as it was to spend the time in San Malarus, there was really nothing going on there, and likely wouldn't for a while, as long as that odd barrier stood. It made Sharaku wonder just how worth it was to isolate one island alone at this point. Sooner or later, some enemy would likely devise a plan on how to break it or simply pass through unharmed. If their opposition was smart, it was only a matter of time. Then again, that particular issue was really not his business at the moment. He'd have to hope the woman knew what she was doing, because he wasn't about to stay here much longer. It was starting to seem really moot, and he wasn't blind either. Whatever was going on in Penecia at the moment was sure big. Made him wonder who even triggered that.
Regardless, he didn't plan on checking that out. Not now. Considering how easy the disturbance was to spot even from far away...well, knowing how many people here had some powers, he was pretty sure a good bunch of them would run over there. And really, what was the point of everyone flocking to one place like a herd of sheep? It was not only risky in case the threat was really strong, but also inefficient seeing as it was not the only problem that needed dealing with. On top of that, he had always been more of a loner than someone who happily worked with huge groups, thus he didn't even feel inclined to join the fray. Not unless someone straight out asked him to come there. Of course, Penecia was where he lived, but that wouldn't make him put it as priority when he had reasons not to meddle.
...it did raise a good point though. If something as huge was there, it meant that more like it could surface in other places with time. As much as that would be a great pain. It couldn't be ruled out, however. Thus, might as well look around for any possible disturbances before they come up on their own. There were a few choices as to where to go, but from San Malarus, it was closest to Lunapa, which made it the most obvious one. Why walk extra when you don't have to, right? The closer a place, the faster you can get something done. At least, for as long as the subways were out of order. Honestly, they should probably work on getting them at least semi-functional soon. It would make dealing with the problems much easier for everyone, and by the looks of it, they may end up needing it. One can walk around long distances only for so long before getting too tired, and possibly in trouble if a fight happens. Thankfully for him, he didn't have a bad stamina, but you can't say that about everyone.
...so, hurray for nature and trees? Lunapa was one of the islands he actually liked, so he was hoping it wouldn't turn too bad there. Plus, he was on his own and as string as he was, he did not want to overestimate himself. You never know what kind of tricks one can have...
