Appearance: Onyx has long spiky messy Blonde hair that reaches down to his lower back. Onyx has piercing red eyes and a grin that never seems to leave his face. Onyx wears a blue and yellow tunic armor with a single shoulder pad and one half of his chest exposed. Onyx also wear one armguard on one arm and an armband on the other.

Personality: Onyx is a old Velvet Attendant who knows all about the human since he has been travelling in the human world for quite a while though he still remains loyal to Philemon and the Velvet Room. Onyx left the Velvet Room of his own will to observe and can willingly return to the Velvet Room to visit or on occasion do his actual job as an Velvet Attendant. Onyx is a quick thinker and an fast talker you would have to be when you are dressed like him. Onyx smiles big all the time because if you don't smile a lot people won't pay attention to you. Onyx has always seen the human world interesting to observe and loves to watch and talk to humans. Onyx seems to be fine with having guests he seems to only do his job as an Velvet Attendant when he is absolutely needed though he'd rather just laze around in the human world. To most people Onyx would seem like nothing like a grinning idiot and that's only partially true when the situation demands it he will be serious and an serious Onyx is scary.

The Background

History: Many years ago the Velvet Attendant Onyx was created he had a big grin and was very lazy yet talkative. Onyx never really seemed to fit in the Velvet Room very well even though he was an decent Velvet Attendant. Onyx eventually decided to cut a deal with Igor Onyx could explore the world whenever he wanted but in exchange he would actually have to occasionally return to the life of an Normal Velvet Attendant to which Igor created the terms for.

Eventually Onyx left the Velvet Room though he still did not get involve in any major evens because he had no reason to get involved in major events. Onyx usually lazed around observed, and talked to people that made Onyx very happy. Onyx can go back and forth from the Velvet Room whenever he wants but he usually stays in the Velvet Room when he is needed. Onyx has recently been spotted in Endymion he had heard of the strange happenstances going on and decided to investigate.

Alright love here we go.

So you say he shows human compassion making me assume he goes out of his way to help others; however, in the weakness section you say it takes a lot of convincing for him to help when it comes to human affairs. Can you explain this a bit to me? It seems a bit contradicting, but then I may be translating it wrong.

Your history is very confusing. First you mentioned that he left the room to observe the humans and afterwards returned to the room displeased both with how humans acted and the inaction of the Velvet Room attendances. You speak of him rebelling against the idea of being idle and also that he goes in and out of the Velvet Room without his Master's (Igor) permission.

Okay...that is a bit odd considering that would come with serious consequences; however, I will get to that in a minute.

Secondly, you speak of him giving up his compendium and not wanting it back; however in the next blurb you state Igor gives it back to him and seems completely alright with unlocking the book for him.

Now then, I am fine with Attendants leaving the room for many have; however, the price for that is not being able to return to the room at all unless they have made an arrangement with Igor that allows them entrance to the room.

For your history, I see no explanation as to how or why he has entry back in the room. Also I do not understand why it would be a good thing for him to suddenly have his compendium back in his hands when you stated before hand he didn’t want anything to do with this.

I can understand making a conflicted character; however, you’ll need to do more explaining to flesh this out and get rid of contradictions within the app for this to pass. If you can untangle this, then I’ll gladly review it again. Until then good luck.
