| Was it just him, or things were getting different pretty fast? Maybe it was because of the whole incident, and the fact that the Maiden herself was missing in action right now with no one having a clue as to where she was, but the atmosphere around here was not what it used to be anymore. Was that a good or bad thing? That was something Samael didn't know, but at least it brought the colony out of the somewhat boring routine, even if in a rather drastic way. Afterall, only time would tell where this would lead.
Mental observations aside, Samael continued walking through the streets, seemingly just looking around the colony. Or maybe he was trying to assess the situation. Who knew. And he certainly didn't plan on telling his intentions to the world just now....

| As Samael continued to walk the streets of Parangelia, his nose would soon catch a scent of something in the wind, something faint but delicious nonetheless. What was it? Why was it? Who was it? He could only guess...or follow the scent to find out for certain.
Meanwhile, a shadow peering from a corner somewhere behind Samael kept creeping closer and closer, but unnoticable and silent as it did so. What could this all mean? Was it somehow connected? Only time would tell, but perhaps some help in removing the veil of mystery would not be unappreciated to come by.

| Hm. He did take notice of the sudden smell floating around, but while Samael had nothing against food, fact was that he did not go outside with the purpose of eating, or seeking out food in any way or form. A smell alone would not really prompt him to investigate, as it served no real benefit to him right now. So someone was cooking nearby or selling food. And? Nothing to really do with him, in his opinion. Unless he had a reason to get involved, which he wasn't seeing right now.
''Strange....'', he would mutter to himself as he kept walking, but that would be pretty much it at this point. He did briefly wonder why would someone make a point of cooking like this during the current times, but he wouldn't ponder over the subject excessively. People were entitled to their own habits afterall.

| The smell keeps growing stronger, Samael must've been moving in its direction...and so did the shadow tailing the boy. Soon, soon enough, the identity of this mysterious onlaughter shall be revealed! But was it time already? Maybe not. Or maybe yes?
Either way, a hand would suddenly land on Samael's shoulder. A big hand, and the person it was attached to came with it. But what was happening? Even more suddenly, the other hand came, grabbing Samael by his torso and holding him up. The owner of the hands held the young lad up and chuckled. In a flash, it would run down the street, all the while carrying Samael beneath its armpit, like some sack of beans.
One, two, three, four jumps after, and Samael would find himself all shaken up and dropped on the pavement down the street. But that wasn't the only thing he would be able to see around himself. If he just raised his head, he would find out that he was sitting behind some sort of a improvised grill, already all fired up. In fact, several juicy-looking steaks sizzled temptatiously on it. And not only that, but there was a whole pile of meat left to prepare. Furthermore, if Samael were to raise his head and look beyond the grill, he would be able to see a whole long table prepared in the lenght of the straight stretch of the street, along with a white tablecloth and enough chairs around it to fit the whole street. However, nobody was sitting on them. Was there any meaning to this? Maybe the tall figure with an explosion of a blonde hair on his head only contained by a crimson band and a shining grin on his face standing right next to Samael with a spatula in his hand knew something about this?
