| OoC: Temporary Details: -- Thread is Post-Fair --Thread is Pre-Investigation
IC: Some days had passed since the disastrous fair in which the funding of the team had plummeted down, leaving the Kendo team in the uttermost misery. Something like this was both extremely worrying and appalling for someone like Hibiki Kei... He had never been too fond of the tournaments, but still would have liked to try to lead his team to victory... But as things were now, that was completely impossible. The equipment was old, mostly broken on several degrees of severity and practically unusable. There was no way the Kizuna Academy Kendo Club could present in this fashion without being laughed at, much less win the regional competition...
Hibiki had already given up on all hope to get the necessary equipment for everyone before the quickly approaching competition. Even if they were to raise complaints and to attempt for the Council to give them the necessary funds, it'd be too late to participate for when they listened to them. It was a lost cause...
... That was, that is, before he was informed that a mysterious fellow student had provided the entire team with brand-new high quality equipment!, This was certainly a miracle!
And it was that even if he could do it without the tournaments, the rest of the club was aching to participate. Whoever the donor was, thanks to him the Kizuna Academy might be able to win at last its first kendo trophy!
But before the supplies could be used by the team, the benefactor had requested to hand the new supplies to Hibiki personally during the team practice, so his identity may not remain anonymous. It was then when the transaction would be made official. Well, there was no problem with that!, In, fact, he'd be happy to thank him in person, Hibiki thought as he hastily walked to the training site.
Entering through the front door, Hibiki looked around, trying to locate the boy, whom would be accompanied by a member of the student council that would take care of the paperwork. Soon, the rest of the kendo team would come and they would be provided with the new equipment right away for that day's practice.
Soon, Hibiki spotted someone besides some large cardboard boxes, awaiting. The donor most likely, even though the council member was nowhere to be seen.
As soon as Hibiki approached him, he recognized the boy. That ivory skin, the paper-white hair, those sharp features... And the red eyes. Those unnerving predatory eyes.
That was Abel Mistral. There was no possible mistake. The same teenager that had confronted and accussed the detestable Kogami when he reduced the budget for the club. Throughout the whole thing, Hibiki had a first row seat, however, the albino was so extremely intimidating and forceful that he had barely spoken at all... Even now his presence was distressing, for instead of waiting like any normal person, he was clearly in tension, as if ready to maul down anyone foolish enough not to watch out. There was just something animalistic about that boy that creeped Hibiki out.
As he was lost in his thoughts, Abel's eyes came into contact with Hibiki's, startled, he remembered that he was here for a reason, this was no moment for those thoughts. Plus, if he was fighting Kogami AND replacing all of their equipment, he had be a nice guy deep inside, right?
On Abel's face, a smile of satisfaction was formed as he spotted what he supposed that was Hibiki though he couldn't tell though, thanks to his deficient vision. All was going according to his design. It had been very expensive to get the money, but selling some performances and throwing a pair of free ones to raise the money had done the job. He had managed to buy complete first quality equipment for the entire team, and though Takeo, his guitarist had said he was mad, this was worth it on his eyes.
Before, the opinion of his peers on the academy was divided. Many feared him, the fans of his music adored him and those that just saw a punk in him disliked yet tolerated him... They had no other option, since Abel hadn't actually done anything worse at the Academy than skipping classes and being generally shady. But now they'd all respect him...
Wait wait wait. Stop right there. Why would someone like Abel care at all about that?, Specially considering how little he himself respected the rest of the students... Well, if I told you why there would be no mystery, would it?
Soon enough, Hibiki came, whom Abel politely welcomed. It was obvious that he felt somewhat uneasy, but after this he relaxed a bit. Both of them talked a bit with eachother as they awaited for the assigned council member. Abel showed Hibiki the equipment and he was certainly very pleased, remarking how he didn't expect such a good equipment. Perfect. Just perfect. If everything continued so swiftly it was just a matter of time before his efforts came to fruition.

| This was just great, was this all she was good for, a donation? While all the other members did what, whined about why no one knew who was smoking in the restroom. It was ill-advised, why did she have to do the stuff no one wanted to do? Why couldn’t she do the fun stuff? So what if she was the youngest? They didn’t even listen to her opinion. Why did she even stay? What’s the point of staying in a place where no one knew she existed until they needed something? Plus Salmane didn’t even enjoy hanging out with the members, they always yelled and left her there…
Stepping into the Kendo room, Salmane held her clip board close to her chest, she looked around the room. Who was it she was supposed to meet? And how much money were they collecting from this donation? Wait—why did she even have to be there?! What would be the purpose of getting this on paper? Is it so the student council can watch how the money is spent? Or was it something else? Why won't anyone tell her anything?!

| Of course, one of the first people Hibiki informed about this mysterious donation was none other than Tsurinai Naito. Being his "unofficial" right hand man, Naito surely needed to know the update when it came to all things Kendo. When the last bell of the day rung, and Hibiki came to Tsurinai's class with the news, the silver haired student was not impressed. This donation would only let the student council off the hook, and it would eliminate the point of the entire trial Shibuya Kogami was put under. Also, accepting donations from an outside party was always a bad idea, unless it was through a reliable organization. Tsurinai was sure to inform Hibiki of this, and would convince his long time teammate not to make any serious moves without consulting him and the rest of the team. Anything mysterious surely didn't have good tagged to it. Especially with all these conspiracies apparently going on throughout the school recently, with blackmail and the like. Tsurinai was sure to remind Hibiki, who was also at the fair, about how mysterious things were brewing in the underbelly of Kizuna Academy. With the upcoming investigations, and the rumors spreading around about foul play, the last thing the Kendo Club needed was to be involved with the nonsense. The silver haired student had a valid point, and with having a deep connection with Hibiki already, it wasn't hard for the captain to being to agree with him. With that done, both boys would head towards practice with Hibiki slightly before him. After all, Naito still needed to wrap up his supplies before heading out. After a few minutes, he would be on his way to practice to see the details of this donation. He was no fool, and he didn't have the nickname of being a genius of his time for nothing. The clockworks of Tsurinai's brain were always moving.
Once making it to the Kendo Club's training gym, after getting changed into his old gear, Tsurinai made his way through the doors to see a female, Hibiki, and a piece of scum. Well, perhaps scum was too cruel? Snow White would work here. How Hibiki seemed to talk to him, perhaps he was the one behind this so called donation? Even more reason not to accept it. Crossing his arms over his chest, Naito would close his eyes and speak aloud. "Hibiki, a word please." The Kendo Captain would turn and come his way, and Naito would lead him out the doors of the gym. Closing the doors behind them, he'd begin to speak one on one with the Kendo Captain. At this time, other members of the Kendo team were beginning to arrive, and began to form a huddle around the door. "I hope I don't have to remind you all of the nonsense that happened at the fair, correct? Apparently there is supposed to be a investigation soon, involving him. All these whispers of conspiracies will only hurt the image of Kendo Club if we willing accept a donation from him. Think about it. A student who hadn't shown his face around school, nor showed any sort of self control in large crowds suddenly gives us a donation after a large conspiracy steps into the spotlight? It is safe for us to stay away from it all and await our true funding. With our newest members, Aaron and Sukumada, plus the leadership of Hibiki, our next Kendo meet will be rather easy. And soon after that, I'll be sure to get us the real funding we rightfully deserve... without putting the entire team under hot water." The team listened in closely, and gave a nod as they continued to discuss the circumstances. Unlike the student council, they listened to one another.

| After a few minutes, Abel saw someone entering the training site. Was that the Council member?... About time if so. Even if Hibiki was visually much more relaxed now, he was running out of things to talk about.
"Hey you!, We are here!", he said, calling for the girl that had entered. Before he even looked away though, another student, a silver-haired student, entered, was that Naito?, Again, satisfaction was made apparent on his face. Abel certainly hoped so. This was mostly for him after all.
Soon enough, the silver-haired one spoke. Ah. That voice... Such an annoying voice could only belong to Naito, who was calling for Hibiki, surely trying to hinder him out of spite. What else could it be being that piece of scum?... Well, perhaps scum was too cruel?... Narcissus perhaps?, M. Bison Jr.?... Nah, they lacked punch. Scum would have to do it.
"Sure", said Hibiki after Naito called for him, leaving to talk with him. On his part, Abel was quite indifferent to this. He had a grip on situation's balls worse than anything seen in the entire Hellraiser franchise. And since he had nothing to worry about, he just pulled out his reading glasses for when the documents were given to him.

| OoC: (So I guess I need to make a verdict on how the NPC will react. It goes without saying Hibiki would listen to his teammates over getting a donation, just to go out on the town. You can carry on unless I'm honestly needed to post here as the NPC) | |

| OoC: I don't want to try and control Hibiki anymore, not after f-ing it up. To be honest, I'd prefer you to take care of the NPCs the rest of the thread. We can leave this thread for later though, since you have so much work lately. | |
