The question caught him. Shunnosuke...Were they a relationship?Nozomi figured they sorta were?They just didn't ask each other out yet.

"Strongest nerd"? That sounded so ridiculous he couldn't help but laughing shortly. By now, Shun didn't even know if Nozomi was indeed a nerd in the purest sense of the stereotype; at least from a perspective of Nozomi's activities and the last time they met, the Kichida would hardly qualify as such, despite the lanky physique. Whatever is the case, the nickname would remain.

Past the moments of mutual jesting, there comes the reason for the back-and-forth messages. At least, on Shunnosuke's end, that's one of his motivations to seek Nozomi tonight. There was some time of wait, mere few seconds that seemed like minutes in Shun's agitated mind, while his eyes were petrified at the phone's screen.

...only to make an unavoidable smile twitch his mouth upwards at the upcoming message. "Boyfriend". Amber, dreamy eyes set on this single word, at a single sentence. They haven't really asked each other, but did it matter? Nozomi probably knew what would Shun's answer be.

"It feels different to be dating", he sent the sentence like that, incomplete. To Shun, nothing has truly changed except the inexplicable feeling of filling a void, making it all clear. And being important to someone else.

"the strongest nerd in Azores.", he added shortly to not make it as sappy. Sugary was not his style at all. At the same time, he wanted more of the moment, and know more about Nozomi as well.

Great. It was working out for the Kichida Now. Well it seemed his fancy wordplay of stupidity had reached the Feminine boy. Though. he felt something about him and shunnosuke dating. Had he ever really dated anyone before? The boy hadn't had the chance to get attached to anyone for a relationship in his past. He was a bit scared he may lose that chance again but this time...

This time he'd actually have someone he'd want to stay around for...

Shunnosuke rolled in bed for a while, reliving the bothersome sensation of the waiting's boredom, holding the phone above his face. So, it was true, it was the first relationship with that degree of intimacy for him. The same could be said about the blonde, in the sense that, for this to establish, it had to be mutual instead of one-sided. The previous experience didn't exact qualify as such.

"So Mr. Smooth is not so smooth, haha"

Yes, he had to poke about it. He judged Nozomi for a long time as a go-getter with a silver tongue for compliments and confidence in the field. Looks can be deceiving, and in this case, gladly for Shun, they were.

"I met your friend Vincent the other day. He poked me about us, he knows already and I didn't even say a word to him."

Thinking back about it, he must have had his interest in Nozomi printed on his face, which is...not really a good thing for someone who's so uptight.

"I know this is sudden, but I'm glad I met you at the club that night."

He rolled up in bed again, wondering if Nozomi felt the same at the other side of the little device's screen, that connected both teenagers in such a late hour.

He hadn't introduced him to many of his friends of the sort or anything like that ye tfor the most part. Which reminded him that he hould sometime. It was true that Vincent was going around Standsen lately. Though he didn't explain what for. Perhaps he was trying to solve everything behind the mist?

Then the words came from Shunnosuke's phone

The Kichida felt touched. Though. Could call it fate right?Hahah The boy would shoot back a reply quickly.

Looking back on it...I'm glad I met you that night too. Hahah... What was it like?I remember I did some dance moves and caught your attention. Though.You seemed to have a few drinks in you as well at the time.

Yes, he saw Vincent around Standasen, but...that wasn't all there is to it. He wanted to tell, but..what if it put Nozomi's life at risk? After all, Shunnosuke was being stalked since his return from his little trip to Standasen, as far as he knows. What if Vincent wanted to keep the mysterious status of his business with Zackary, whatever they are?

"Please, don't make me remember it."
"I was completely drunk. I might have looked like a tramp that night, urgh. -_-"

Definitely, he was probably a mess with his predilection for going overboard with drinking. The thought of the consequences of his reckless deeds were annoying. Gladly he met a good-willed guy to spend the time with, but what if...?

Though he would not pry towards SHunnosuke about it. Perhaps it was something he could not elaborate on yet.

It was true. Nozomi had slightly over time became an internet sensation over time and Shunnosuke had caught his eye in a sensation of it's own. He would send it quickly while eagerly awaiting a response from Shunnosuke.

It was fun imagining Nozomi being on the internet and facing increasing popularity because of it. Definitely something worth a few giggles and laughter. As for his deal in Standasen's wasteland...

"I might have a track on something that might stop the Primordials, mainly Thesis."
"I had to make a deal with a gang leader in Standasen to earn the possible hints."
"In exchange, they're keeping me under watch to make sure I'll act accordingly, but I don't have any other choice right now."
"Everything is under control and if I'm on the right track, we might put and end to this."

To think he was followed around was...annoying and distressing. It didn't stop him from doing his regular activities to a greater extent, but the thought of being followed around by thugs was far from the most pleasant. The teen wanted to convince himself this was the right thing to do, now he had the power and connections to actually be useful to this world in light of an imminent apocalypse. However, he had to sacrifice something he values greatly for it: freedom, personal space, the safety of him and his family... Is the risk worth it, he wondered?

The Kichida would say trying to be a little uplifting in this situation. Sounded like a rather iffy predicament.

He quite didn't believe someone had the guts to record Nozomi's breakdancin at an underground club's dancefloor. Made him wonder if he also had some video of him uploaded on the internet. An unauthorized video, sort of. On the other hand, it wasn't that bad. It was just....Nozomi dancing, as it is. And he was quite skilled, Shunnosuke had to give him props for that, even though this particular style of moving your body didn't suit his interests...or the ambiance. As they say, what matters is the fun you get. The blonde's eyes almost gleamed with excitement when he heard his voice giving start to an agitated cheering in unison. Gladly, his image wasn't recorded by the camera, or his parents would hardly find it enjoyable if they ever discover the link which is a very remote possibility. That aside, the video was worth it. He remembered the scene briefly in fuzzy flashes, his perception and memory slightly altered by alcohol ingestion, so it came as a much more pleasing experience to get to see the whole scene's development with sober eyes. Once he was done laughing at the link, he returned to the messages screen, turning quite sour and serious.

"I have no clue on what's Vincent's business with them, but it seemed like they had his obedience in exchange for bottles."
"Ask him yourself, I decided to not pry on that."
"I was more concerned on doing what I had to."
"One thing I can say, I don't trust the likes of them and I don't know if Vincent is safe."

Heh. So Nozomi was now an internet sensation nearly. Before he knew it people would probably be recognizing him on the street as that guy as the wave's peak. His newfound Reputation certainly succeeded within him. It was nice that he had his own little fun and yet ended up meeting Shunnosuke that one day.

Then they had to unfortunantly get back to business it appeared...

Hm... I know Vincent. He ain't stupid or anything. So I don't doubt that he may know what he's getting himself into for sure.

I'll try inquriing with him about it in a safe location. Given their probably watching him as well. I don't trust these guys at all either. Never heardof em and their a gang. Gangs...They focus on themselves after all and on expanding for sure.

That turn of events is far from satisfying. To Shun, it was a sign that he really had to rely on others to succeed, even if that included forging unthinkable alliances. He faced this as a mere case where two parts were mutually using each other for a goal in common.

A gang helping and being useful to someone like Shunnosuke. The thought was nearly impossible to Nozomi given how Shunnosuke seemed like someone who would be rather clean from all of this though appeared to be stuck in a rut with all of this. Now stuck with what appeared to be this gang...That he still had no damn idea about. Perhaps they operated from underneath or the shadows?Then again he was not familiar with Standsen island. So that only made this a little worse...

Well....I honestly hadn't thought about this haha...Christ Shunnosuke. I'm still working things out at the moment really.

So, Nozomi didn't know what he wanted to do about his life. It's understandable, he couldn't really blame Nozomi for not thinking about his future, professional and academic life. They had a priority with Azores right now, or they wouldn't even have a future to begin with; yet Shun didn't even consider the possibility of neglecting his personal ambitions.

"It's alright. I'm sure you'll have the opportunity to figure it out over the time."
"Don't you have any hobbies you'd like to develop as a profession?"

He thought to himself if that's how every teenager felt about the upcoming years of adulthood. First Naomi, and now Nozomi. Oddly, they were both involved with fighting Primordials and Angels, as if the regular problems of coming of age weren't enough.
