| When Rinna saw the officer show up, she raised her face up to him, and frowned. "What do you want? I was given permission to host this rally by your department and the local government. Not sure why you're here at all." Rinna certainly was not afraid to stand up to the law if they didn't earn their keep, and right now, Rinna certainly wasn't in the mood to be approached by someone who she knew wasn't here until now. She crossed her arms and practically ignored him before turning to Naomi. Her response was....disappointing. She grimaced, and nodded shortly. She trusted her, so she couldn't be so harsh on her; after what she had done for her. "If you say so. But know that that way does not exist. Defeating them in battle will not be enough. If they come back again, or a Wish is passed, then they will always have a hand over us, no matter what we do. If you're gonna join us, call me. I know you'll do the smart thing. That's who you are..." she said. It was more than genuine praise, but she certainly wasn't happy about her decision. She could do what she wanted now, while Simon watched Tremora and the cop now talking to Rinna. If things got any worse, he may have to step in to help, but Rinna was a wild child all on her own. He was definitely sure the young woman could figure out a way to keep him out of the business. | |

| ''Wha- You insolent little.... '' Conner thought as he felt his eye twitch as he was utterly disrespected by this little brat! Probably one of Jack's friends... Children these days had no respect for the law or their elders... ''Would you care to repeat that mam? I could have swore you just tried to brush me off... and you're smart enough not to do that right?'' Conner was sick and tired of this kind of bull crap, kids running around like they owned the city... he got enough of that from his son...
''Sense you obviously didn't hear me, I said I would like to speak with you.... The officers we had watching the your little get together called in a report that things were starting to get a bit out of hand...so a unit was dispatched... And I'd like to ask you and your friend over there a few questions in order to get the full story...'' Conner replaced his hat on his head and narrowed is eyes at the the girl. ''That goes double for your Tremora... Why didn't you call in that you were here?''

| I whisper to him, "Ummm, I didn't call in that I'm here because... well.... supernatural stuff. I really didn't want to bother anyone who didn't have supernatural power with this entire situation. Ehehehh, but yeah, also basically the summary for this entire situation is that some primordial beings called "The Primordials" are lead by Thesis and want to destroy the world. There is another group called "The Angels" want to save humanity from this fate. Except for the fact that they want to also save humanity by molding it into their own image. On the side of it 2 sort of deities of the mind are fighting to destroy or save the world, Nyarlythotep Children and Persona Users respectively."
"I think that about sums it up, except for the fact that Simon Alba, one of the people that was on the stage used to be angel, and the angels don't like him. He also wants to get rid of both the angels and primordials. I think that about sums up the situation so please don't lock me up in an asylum sir."

| Hiro had taken a spot near the stage and simply watched as the final decision was made and everything seem to somewhat sort itself out. The fearful took off, but the more strong willed or perhaps uncertain ones stayed. Ranger Red had left, but the annoying kid had decided to join Simon and the girl all of a sudden. Heh. Seriously, did this kid not hold his ground well or what? One minute he was against this and now all of a sudden he was for it? Tch! Whatever, if he could stick to this then more ammunition against the angels.
In any case, Mr. Annoying Hero aside, Hiro's eyes would focus on the cop that was trying to get information only to get lip from the girl and some form of information from Mr. Annoying. As he watched this play, he frowned not really liking this jumping around, but from the looks of it Simon and the girl could handle these two, so he left that tiring mess alone for now and turned his eyes to the undecided girl that seemed to be friends with the female lead of this rally.
He wasn't really the gentle type, but this sort of internal conflict he understood well and perhaps that is why he cautiously approached her now. He would stop a safe distance from the girl as he looked her up and down cautiously, clearly not trusting her and out his element, but still needing to say what was on his mind to her.
"I am perhaps not helping the matter, but your friend says...there is no peaceful ways when it comes to gods or entities of extreme power. It is typically you or them..." he said trailing off knowing all to well how it went when you faced a god-like creature. You died or if you survived what was left of you was taken away. All you had was the broken pieces left behind, but never you. Hiro shifted uncomfortably in his pot as he looked up at the girl not mad with her, but not hiding his hate for the upper class supernatural beings.
"Sometimes the truth is right in front of you. Don't believe me, then take your journey and come back. Prove me wrong," he said to her making sure this conversation stayed between him and her. As he locked eyes with hers, a look that maybe hinted at a small fragment of hope that maybe he was wrong seemed to shine through his eyes. Still the fragment was so small it was no telling if it was real or not; however, his words were as sincere as they were going to get and he seemed to not be lying when he spoke his words, but why would this chaotic fireball suddenly calm before this girl? ___________________________________________________________________________
Note: Hiro attempts to give Naomi some form of direction, but why...? (If Naomi has a VA then this should feel familiar to her. If not it may appear to be a random action.) |

| She nodded at Rinna, meaning she understood, “I know what you’re saying, but I’m hoping you’re wrong.” She laughed a little and smiled, “Like I said though, I will try to know. I will either find another option or I’ll stop the Angels and Thesis. Either way, I know we need to save our home. I just hope I can find another way. Good luck on your end tough. Just, be careful.” She didn’t want her friend to be in danger, “You know that if you need me, I will always come running. Even if our methods are different, that doesn't mean I’ll abandon you.” She needed to say that. She noticed as the officer showed up but was distracted by someone else speaking to her.
She looked at the man who had been trying to cause trouble earlier. Was he… was he being calm now? That was a sudden personality shift. Or maybe she misread him earlier. That sometimes happened. It was rare, but it was possible. She only knew how people felt and had to guess everything else from there. Hey, she wasn’t perfect. She would speak to him calmly, since she picked up that he meant for this conversation to be private, “I trust her and we are friends, but that doesn't mean we will always agree. I think it’s important to say when we don’t. I want to find the peaceful way. Be kind, but be firm. We are better than what they think we are. I think that’s why we can find another way. One where fewer people have to risk their lives and we still get our home.” She knew it may not work though, and she was willing to deal with that if she needed to, “Also, I don’t believe in gods. I believe in humanity.” So why shouldn’t she try to show that human didn;t need to be changed?
She was picking up something else from him though. She sighed and looked him over once, “You… remind me of myself not too long ago. Heck, still me a little. I can tell you aren;t a fan of the Angels or Thesis- to put it mildly. I’m not either. Can’t say I ever will be, honestly. But, that doesn't change that I also see the good in the supernatural.” She looked down at her own hand and laughed at herself. This was the hand that she would summon her weapon to if she wanted to call it, “I used to hate this supernatural stuff a lot more than I do now. I blamed it for everything, blamed everything about it. Then, I realized that some good things came out of it. In all bad stuff, I found things that I never would have gotten otherwise. I am who I am right now because of it. Doesn’t mean I won't try to stop it, I will, but I at least acknowledge the good.” She lower her hand, “Maybe you need to find the good inside of the bad. You know, find the truth, instead of just believing everything at face value.” She was trying to be tactful. She understood what he was probably going through. It was funny, “I don’t know if you’re wrong. I just hope you are. Don’t you hope you are too?” She thought that it was possible either way, but she wished for one path. She returned his gaze with her resolution. She was ready to go and find another way, if she could. She was ready and willing.
((OoC: Yeah. Naomi has never even met a VA. So... pretty random))

| Rinna sneered at him. "I've got nothing to say to you types. It got a little heated, but no violence broke out. Sounds good? Good, We had a rally that was once again approved by you lot. Go ask, I promise I am honest about this. Not gonna bother with you guys, not when you all could have come much much earlier than this. These people are sick to death of this, and you're only just now getting involved? You're pathetic. You won't get much else out of me alright? Just go crawl back home." She said. She was completely heated, but still in fair control of her words. She wasn't without truth; the law enforcement had hardly gotten involved with all of this. Why did it take so long for them to act? Fear? Something else? She looked to Naomi and shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe you're right. At least you fight for humans. But you just gotta understand that it's no longer a fight; it's a war. So, whatever, see ya Naomi." She turned away and started to walk back to the stage, and if he went unstopped, she would leave behind it while the grey-haired man would stay behind to watch how everything turned out, twiddling his thumbs together nervously, but keeping a close eye on the ebony woman. Were Naomi to look, she wouldn't be able to pin why, but he would seem...familiar to her... | |

| "You little..." Damn... DAMN DAMN DAMN! As much as he would like to, Conner can't really arrest someone for being a disrespectful brat... She hadn't done anything... Illegal... Not completely at lest. She spoke of eradicating the angels from what he had heard from his officers, but they were still going back and forth over if that qualified as homicide or not. Sense they weren't exactly human... He was stuck until she actually DID something...
"Tch... there is one thing I can do..." Conner pulled his walkytalky from his belt and spoke to it "Cruger.... Yeah it's Rannells... I think it's time we started up the Silver Guardian program. How many do we have already?... Only five? Shit... Wait," Conner looked to Tremora for a moment, with a smirk he turned back to his walkytalky "Make that six..."
With that Conner grabbed Tremora by the shoulder and began to walk him away. "Say Tremora... How would you like to captain your own squad..."

| "What the hell are you doing firebrand?" It feels like he is trying to get Naomi to do something... but what? What is this person's objective? He certainly knows what all this supernatural business is but he is malevolent. Could he be.... one of those Nyarlythotep children? I think I should keep this to myself for now.
Oh, oh no, she is instigating Conner, oh no. Oh dear god no. And of course this is technically a war now. But there have been cases of POW's and Refugees in war too, so there could be a sort of bargain with the angels? "Cruger? Wait, what Silver Guardian program? Only five of who, or what? Ummmm, can you at least tell me what this is before involving me in it?"
"Oh woah! Easy, no need to drag me! Wait, Captain?"
Tremora Veritain walks off with Conner Rannels.

| "Nothing," Hiro would answer calmly as his eyes turned to Mr. Annoying Hero once more. He honestly didn't know why this guy was so jumpy over a conversation that did not involve him. He was too noisy for his own good, but thankful the girl and the police officer got him distracted and in turn he left the area.
With that out of the way, Hiro would look over at the girl he had spoken to thoughtfully as she spoke. When she was done, he would close his eyes as a gentle smile came to his lips.
"I suppose we are lot more alike than one would think," he would say before opening his eyes once more. "If I had met you before all hell broke lose perhaps I could follow such a path, but alas I have no hope anymore when it comes to supernatural. Still..." he tilted his head lightly at the girl as he gave her a light nod. "I do hope I am wrong, so perhaps...we can meet again and you can tell me your results, if you like," he would say. His words while strange were sincere. Even if he hated the world and wanted to bring down all supernatural oppressors, he...he had hope for humanity's future. Despite this small hope though, his opinion on the supernatural oppressors would not change. He would help the girl and the gent take them down.
Speaking of that....the girl had disappeared leaving Simon on stage watching them...or was it the girl before Hiro he eyed? |

| She nodded, “Humanity all the way.” She would let Rinna leave with that. She believed they would find the way, one way or another. She just hoped it would be the less violent path. She couldn't see the future though. That was impossible for everyone. She could only move forward on the path she was walking. It would have to do. Her attention drifted to Simon. He was familiar. She didn’t know why. She had never met him before. She knew that much. Maybe her brain was lying to her or maybe she was forgetting something. She didn’t know. It was hurting her brain to recall information she didn’t have too. She would stare at him in return to his gaze. What was she missing?
Her attention turned back to the man next to her, “Maybe we are. Who can tell from just a first meeting. I’m Naomi, by the way.” She would hold out her hand for him to take. If he did she would shake his, if not she would simply put it down, “And don’t worry about all the hell breaking loose. There are people working on fixing that, if you couldn’t tell. I’d be happy to give you a status report at some point, if you want. First though, how are you involved? You have a Persona too?” She would drop the question blatantly, “Sorry if you were trying to keep that a secret. You said you had no hope in the supernatural anymore, meaning you did at some point. From what I can tell, that means you were involved for a long time.” She was good at catching little things like that when she wanted to be, “Mind telling me, or is it personal?” She was curious. There seemed to be a lot of people lately.

| It seemed that Rinna and the girl before him had come to the agreement of going their own paths and not holding the choice against one another. Their bond must’ve been strong. Impressive, but nothing Hiro lingered on too long as he took note of the girl studying Simon. He let her do as she wanted, his attention turning slightly away thinking that maybe the conversation was over, but then the girl spoke and he turned back to her.
He would take in her words and then look at her hand for a moment before looking back up at her. Cautiously, he would take her hand and allow the shake.
“True. We can know nothing from first meetings, but then again you can learn much at the same time,” the man said as he let his hand slid from hers. “It is a pleasure to meet you Naomi. My name is Hiro,” he would tell her unafraid about giving out his name to anyone. After all, a name said nothing about him or his purpose.
“All hell has already broken lose in my opinion, but I can try to give humans one more chance to fix what has gone out of control. A status report would be much appreciated when you have the time or desire to do such a task,” he would say before falling silent and considering her questions.
“My involvement is not really a secret, so I can share,” Hiro began giving the other a small smile “I am an old sort that documents the supernatural and thus keep up with its affairs. I try to keep the peace by getting rid of the problem spirits. As such I was drawn to this chaos on these islands to try and solve and keep the peace here between the spirits and humans. As for a persona….I have not heard one speak to me in a very long time. Perhaps mine is still sleep somewhere. Perhaps I have none at all. I cannot tell. And yes, I used to trust the more powerful supernatural beings with all my heart, but once they betrayed that trust I lost faith in them and what they can do for the people of the world. I see no point in allowing them to rule or gain power. It makes them big headed, stupid...and cruel…” Hiro trailed off the bitterness and anger towards the truth behind such words apparent, but very slowly he’d calm again and look up at the girl.
“And you? You are a Persona User, no? Is it that power that caused you change your own thoughts when it came to the supernatural?”
The question was said in calm tones, Hiro being equally curious about the girl before him. It was strange, but there was something about her that he kind of liked. He was almost willing to give her a chance to befriend him. Almost, but not quite. More work had to be done for that to happen and that work would not be done unless the one before him allowed it.

| She would gladly shake his hand, “Well, you can learn what you’re willing to find out.” She shrugged. It was simple when you thought about it, but so very complex. That’s why she just went with the flow and didn’t think about it too hard. It felt more natural that way, “And I will have that report ready in no time... hopefully. I expect it to be good news too. I can;t wait to figure it all out.” She would have to take a running start if she wanted to find anything. She was now pumped to step out and go on her quest. She needed to know soon if they had any other options.
The next few sentence out his his mouth made her stop and stare at him for a while, “Okay. I’ve been at this for about a year, and what you just said confused the heck out of me. There are things bigger than the Angels and Primordials?” Based on the way he spoke, she didn’t think he worked for either of them, “I only know I’m trying to fight them. If there is more to this strange story, I don’t know it yet.” It made her head hurt to think about, “I’ll just chalk it up to you knowing more about certain topics than I do. Topics I didn't know existed… Though, it does sound like issues with a shared point. I mean, Angels and Primordials getting involved in our business is rather rude of them.” To put it nicely.
She would shrug, “If you’re asking about my Persona, when I first got them, I hated them. I blamed them as part of the issue. I mean, they came at the same time all the weird stuff started happening. It took me a while to realize that Persona are just extensions of myself. I started to think about them differently after that. Instead of the issue, they could help solve it. They’re like the will inside of me to protect coming out and manifesting. I think they are something good as long as I can use them to save Azores.” She cheered at that last sentence. She was excited to finally see it. Now she and her Persona actually got along and could work together. It was beautiful, “Does that make sense?” She hoped so.

| “Wise words,” Hiro would say with the smallest of smiles upon his lips. Yes, one could learn many things when they were willing to go through such a journey. Sometimes the journey was wonderful, but at others it was painful and twisted. Hiro knew mostly of the latter side of the journey and did not have a good grasp on the other, so when the girl agreed to take on the report task, the old spirit gave her a light nod.
“I will be looking forward to it. Perhaps your angle on this can bring back lost hope, along with solving the puzzle that is here,” Hiro said in friendly tones, but inwardly he doubted whatever she decided to report could change his opinion on the higher ups of the supernatural world or what their judgement should be. Even with the heavy doubt hidden deep inside, he was curious about the end result the girl potentially bring...and this spirit never turned down a opportunity to learn more.
“A year is a short and yet long time to be dealing with the supernatural. I have been in the business ever since I was young, so perhaps I have more experience than you do, but information well that depends on who you ask. As for your question, yes. There are gods of chaos and peace that also are at war, but for whatever reason they decided to take a back seat to this Angel and Primordial event. Not sure what they are planning, but perhaps if they stay out of the mess, I will have one less thing to target on my list,” Hiro said his last words a light growl, but not hostile towards Naomi. In any case, the aggression would die down easily enough as he nodded at the girl.
“I concur and thus why they should be put in there place,” he said before falling silent and listening to what she had to say regarding the persona and her attitude change towards the supernatural.
“You make absolute sense and I can see why you can think of a persona that way,” Hiro would glance up at her with a smirk amused by her enthusiasm and determination. “You have the advantage over me in that department as I have no experience with using such spirits. I only know the ones not attached to humans unfortunately. It seems I still have much to learn.”
Hiro would finish speaking as from somewhere above a crow cawed causing the odd man to look up at the skies above that were slowly turning various shades as the time ticked on. He would observe the sky for a moment before looking back at the girl before him.
“It is time that I depart. I look forward to our paths crossing again some time down the road. It was a pleasure meeting you, Naomi,” he said before giving her a polite bow. Once that was done, he would step back and begin to head away from the area. Unless stopped he would keep walking until he disappeared from sight. |
